Rosy red, his cheeks said
As good cheer he spread
Laughter, like a merry kiss
Touched hearts with bliss

Fish in every variety caught
Delicious nutrition he brought
So that every mouth watered
For the delicacies he slaughtered

Rosy red, his cheeks burned
With joy we never learned
His smile, catching as a cold
Reminded his heart was gold

Fish, all different tastes, flavors
Brought to tummies, savors
Yummy delights that once splashed
In the sea before his knife slashed…

Away the fins, the gills, the frills
A fish to flaunt the fisherman’s skills

Premium Member Johnny Pete and Jolly Pete

Johnny Pete and Jolly Pete
Their marriage arranged in heaven,
Come sit here on the catbird seat.
Their marriage is number seven.

Johnny Pete never looked so good.
Jolly was a gorgeous summer bride.
Ceremony was everything it could be.
Witnesses all on Jolly’s side.

Johnny dragged in a street guy
To stand up with him that day.
Jolly got a tear in her eye
And he soon whisked her right away.

Jolly and Johnny had six little ones.
Juicy, Jimmy, Juanita, Johnny, Junior and Jay.
Two girls and four boys all born in the sun.
They were a handful, but fun in every way.

Tis the Jolly To Be Season

Jolly

Oh, Hey
                                   Jolly old man
                              with some big trousers
                         wow, i thought they were extinct
                                     I said

'tis the Season To Be Jolly

Another year is nearly finished with,

And carol singers knock, or ring my bell;

I sit in darkness, telly turned down low -

I’ll keep my quid (my cat could sing as well).

It’s cold outside and heating costs a mint,

But people hope for even colder snow;

I hate the winter weather - ice is worst:

A broken leg’s no joke, that’s all I know.

I dread the thought of sprouts at Christmas lunch;

All festive foodstuffs disagree with me.

And writing cards is just a dreaded chore -

Like sweeping needles dropping from the tree.

But ‘tis the season to be jolly now;

And even Scrooge had learnt to find it fun -

I’ll force a smile and wear a paper hat,

And mutter, ‘Merry Christmas, everyone.’

*I love Xmas, but I know plenty who don't, lol

Sad sad goodbyes
Tears in the rain;
TV drama

~~~~~~~~~
Old man writes
Amusing musings;
Laughs madly aloud
~~~~~~~~~

Memory recites
Changes lyrics;
Good old daze

~~~~~~~~~
Morning mist
Cold chilly wind;
Sun on vacation
~~~~~~~~~

Limping man
Walks his dog;
Sight for sore eyes

~~~~~~~~~
Old heritage tree
Ancient times linger;
Living relic
~~~~~~~~

News highlight
Men killing men;
Wars never end

~~~~~~~~~
A cruel race we are
Style sweet smiles;
Turn around and kill
~~~~~~~~~

Jolly Lolly fun
Old ice cream treat;
Extinct as the dinosaur

~~~~~~~~~
My darling sleeps
Speaks in a dream;
Murmurs lovely things
~~~~~~~~~

Just for a while
Shopping briefly;
Fatigue comes quick

~~~~~~~~~
Crowded lift
Strange motley faces;
Checking e-devices
~~~~~~~~~

Ancient evenings
TV for company;
Life goes on

Jolly Holly Christmas

Jolly holy Christmas.............

The white season is around the corner
and the snowflakes will start falling softly on our heads
Its a month for celebration that's welcome the Christmas
and the best time of the year to enjoy merry Christmas

Chorus.....

Wish you a jolly merry Christmas
and have a holy merry Christmas
It’s a day of our Savior King Jesus Christ
was born to save our world

The Christmas trees are decorated and illuminated
and the gifts are overflowing under this beautiful tree
The carols are sung in every corners of the streets
and the kids are dancing and singing in the town

Chorus.......

Wish you a jolly merry Christmas
and have a holy merry Christmas
It’s a day of our Savior King Jesus Christ
was born to save our mankind

The silver bells are ringing in the churches
and Santa is on his way with loads of toys
All the children are waiting to spy
to see how the reindeers are flying in the sky

Chorus.......

Wish you a jolly merry Christmas
and have a holy merry Christmas
It’s a day of our Savior King Jesus Christ
was born to enlighten our lives

Jolly Holly, the Fisher Lady

* * * NOT HEADED FOR A CONTEST * * *

Jolly Holly wanted nothing more than to fish
In her entire life, she had made only one wish
All I need is a boat
One that will stay afloat
She had never been described as a sexy dish

Holly had other attributes. She sure could cook
And no one else was better at baiting a hook
With minnows and grubs
She stayed out of pubs
Because most men never gave her a second look

There was an air about her... not a pleasant one
It was a fishy smell that fellers liked to shun
Then one day she met Gus
A man, big as a bus!
He looked at Holly and said, "Take me fishin, hon."

Wasn't long, 'fore Gus moved in with Jolly Holly
The fished all day and made love each night, by golly
He married that lil lass
On a boat, catchin' bass
Got a collie and twin girls, Molly and Polly

Jolly Rancher Pass

There is a gingerbread man,
a farmer named Ginggy,
who lives in Candyland
on Jolly Rancher Pass.
He loves his candy farm-
He has Hershey cows,
M&M grass,
chocolate chip seeds,
and his house is made of graham crackers.
He has a Laffy Taffy dog
and a lovely gingerbread wife
and two lovely gingerbread children.
His wife's name is Ginger,
his daughter's name is Jingle,
and his son's name is Ding.
They all love their farm very much.

Jolly Christmas

A
                                                      Jolly,
                                                     Candy
                                                     Canes,
                                                   Hanging,
                                                From the tree
                                            Singing Christmas
                                         Songs around the tree
                                    Joy, laughter, and love filled,
                               In the room, the scent of pine flow
                           Through the air like a peaceful feeling,
                      That puts everyone in this wonderful mood
              Smell of cookies coming from the oven as the kids,
         Are excited to leave them out for Santa Claus and his helpers
 The feeling of love in the room like God sent his angels to bless the room
                                            With his anointing,
                                            The lights flashing
                                            Children amazed
                                            At the table filled
                                            With soulful food
                                            Made with love
                                            Snowflakes flow
                                            Peaceful vibes
                                            Felted from one
                                            Another, kisses
                                            Hugs and tears,
                                            Spreading around,
                                            The room Jolly
                                            Tears of joy

A Jolly Drongo

Once a
jolly Drongo sat on
the riverbank,
sucking Go-anna eggs
till it brought
insanity,
oh he tried a bit of
thinking,
but his mind was
just a blank,
Fourex beer he'd be
a drinking,
But the Kiwis' are
owning that
so he chewed on some
burnt Damper,
and drank some Billy
tea,
and thought about
the master,
and his obscenity,

bloody torys on a
working class
attack,
15 thousand in
Queensland got the
sack,
sacking Nurses,
Doctors, closing
bush hospitals a
fact,
advertising lies on
tv, “we're fixing
hospitals' ole
chap,”
but all two faced
tories, do agree,
a fixing debt is
bloody good for
thee,
get crippled or
sick, you'll feel
the smack,
when Medicare is
dead? and the poor
die back!
just like the first
war slaughter,
when they killed off
humanity,
march into the nice
machine guns,
are you bloody
cowardly?
but slaughter bloody
slaughter does
attract,
the monkey morons
will attack,
for any cause they
can find, it ought
to be?
and greed is taking
over, don't you see?
It will affect the
poor tory, alas &
alack?
And the fat toads
are laughing,
laughing,
sucking cigars on
the track,
“And the rich are
getting richer and
the poor a
certainty?”
so do you like any
part of that?!?

 Jolly Old St. Nicholas

Ho! Ho! Ho!
Candy Canes and Christmas Cheer
With a fuss, children line up, and wait to get near
To look deep into Jolly Old St. Nicholas eyes
Quietly, and from the depths of their hearts
They sit on his lap and whisper in his ear
Their favorite toy they want for Christmas

Ho! Ho! Ho!
Candy Canes and Christmas Cheer
Overjoyed with great big dreams and hope
Children sigh, Please, Jolly Old St. Nicholas
Are the elves focus and hard at work
Working around the clock
We've been very good this year

Ho! Ho! Ho!
Candy Canes and Christmas Cheer
Through the eyes of children goodness
Jolly Old St. Nicholas a giver of gifts
Keeping the spirit of Christmas alive
For some a trust of faith and a symbol of hope
For others joy, Christmas trees, and toys

Ho! Ho! Ho!
Candy Canes and Christmas Cheer
Wise Jolly Old St. Nicholas is on his way here

Christmas time is really quite near
Just saw a sleigh and eight tiny reindeer
With a jolly old gent
As he made his ascent
It's that magical time that we all hold so dear

Jolly Old Saint Nicholas

Jolly Old St. Nicholas, grey hair, baldy man
A jingle with a twisted cane, see me if you can
Silver long haired beard, red nose, rosy golden cheeks
Giddy-up old St. Nicholas, won't you hurry please!

When the clock strikes twelve pm, on a darkest night
Driving the lonely streets, please turn on your lights.
My big house is decorated, wreaths and ornaments too,
May your blessings come your way, all your dreams come true

Bronson wants a pair of shoes, Brandy wants a shirt
As for me, you know what I want, hope he's not a flirt.

Jolly old St. Nicholas, send me a nice young man
I don't want to be no fool, just to hold someone's hand.

A-Not-So-Jolly Christmas

Doesn't Christmastime mean
presents, carols and cheers?
But for one it won't
be a jolly Holiday
diagnosed with breast cancer.
