Best Invigorates Poems
"You are my fair Spring
your love invigorates me
life comes to full bloom in you"~~
I lie here, forlorn
Oh, that I could have known then
you'd be my fiercest winter

I sense and feel mystique of its appeal
In vibrant, verdant, blossoming spring,
Splendorous prairies undulating breeze,
Resplendent falling of autumnal leaves,
Glacial winds bemoaning a frozen sigh,
A cerulean terpsichore of ocean tides~
I sense and feel, yet can’t cage its wings.
Purposeful, evocative, musings unwind
When elixir of missives invigorates mind
In tears of joy glittering mother’s eyes,
Holding hand of father, an innocent smile,
Hungry bawls tearing impoverished lands,
Cheers echoing hopes of clapping hands,
Grievous calls unleashed by fate unkind,
An uneventful existence berating its grind.
Though I pretend to reign world of words
And impute resonance to songs of birds
And conjure kisses from lovelorn woes
And dare personifying feelings of stone,
I struggle in thoughts to stage my show
Striving to rhyme verses stubbornly prose
Dawdling daydreams of poetic meadows
Attributing forms to shapeless shadows
Clueless of the exit from wordless throes.
Ah! dear reader, the poet in you knows,
Much alike an eagle boundless in freedom
Flight of artistry I’m unable to control,
Passions of its symphony, I do not own,
Depth of its ocean shall remain unknown.

I am a Red Red Rose
I am a red red rose
A beauty to behold
My texture captivates
My scent invigorates
Petals, a velvet red
Coverings for your bed
Leaves an emerald garb
That hide the hidden barb
Though thorns be on my stem
Touch me, ignoring them
Please, handle me with care
Dethorned, my beauty bare
I am a red red rose
Your passion for me grows
Rose water from me drips *
And wets your precious lips
I beautify your soul
My presence makes you whole
I am a red red rose

PS...A different take on Robert Burns famous Poem, A Red Red Rose.
*By the way, rose water is used in many desserts in Lebanon. One of my favorites, Mouhalabieh, a white custard that is topped with syrup and pistachios, contains rose water. Yummy....Let your mind run riot with that one! :)

Spring will forever be the time for renewals when brisk fresh air invigorates our drowsy muse. Tickling every inner child, beckoning them to come out for a playdate. And ever so gleefully we crack open the treasure chest of possibilities, dust it off to see what gems we can uncover.

So gentle is the morn in spring
as tender as the rose
whose dewdrop petals long to bring
their beauty to expose.
The warm sunlight and fresh spring air,
the breeze is blowing in our hair.
The warm sunlight…
the warm sunlight
invigorates a day so fair.
So gentle is the morn in spring
in nature’s outdoor room;
the butterflies are fluttering
from bloom to lovely bloom
to pollinate the flowers need
and spread their beauty with it’s seed.
To pollinate…
to pollinate
the budding love that will proceed.
So gentle is the morn in spring
like coos of mourning dove
while calling for his mate to bring
exciting lilts of love.
I long to feel so young again
while strolling in the April rain;
I long to feel…
I long to feel
the tender notes of love’s refrain.

I love the ethereal feel of Spring;
Her energy invigorates my heart.
And nourishes Nature's many offspring:
seeing snowdrops off to an early start.
I love the warm, caressing touch of Spring,
massaging my skin on a sunny day.
Listening to the robin redbreast sing,
Winter's doldrums silently slip away.
I love the sweet, sensual scent of Spring
as flowers first magically appear.
And the fresh feeling gentle breezes bring,
assuring me that Spring's finally here.
I love the subtle arrival of Spring,
a reprieve from Winter's inclement sting.

Sonnet
To the tune of “ Sixteen Going on Seventeen
from “The Sound of Music”
When you’re with me,
I can feel everything, a body’s meant to feel
Butterfly kisses, tell me what this is
My heart is yours to steal
When you’re with me.
I can do anything, climbing the highest peak
Your love updates me, invigorates me
So I can hardly speak
What do I care, if others say
that ours is puppy love
They wouldn’t dare, if they could play
just what I’m dreaming of
When I’m with you,
We can do anything, no one can force our hand
Suitors may show up, trying to blow up
They’ll never understand
When you’re with me,
I can see everything, that there is left to see
There's just one thing, just one undone thing
Seeing you marry me

A painting..
A painting speaks volumes..
speaks many words..
People and places..
Scenic veiws..
Fascinating and beautiful..
Captivating and symbolic..
A painting paints emotions..
Paints pure glory..
Splendid nature..
Colors so vibrant..
Takes one's breath away
Driven by a creative artist..
With a stroke of a paint brush..
Stokes that speak a language of their own..
Art..
A communication distributed just for you..
Glance at a painting..
Stirs nostalgia..
Admiration of beauty..
Invigorates the senses..
Fills the heart with joy..
To feast one's eyes..
A vision of pure lovliness
Frozen in time..
By a spectacular painting
All created..
Gracefully..
By a stroke of a paint brush..

What sort of art works for you,
What art do you like most,
Do you like the portrait stuff,
Or images from the coast,
Or maybe you like other forms,
From nail to martial art,
Maybe modern performance dance,
Or mulberry paper craft,
Either way, whatever art you like,
Your art comes from deep inside,
It helps you keep your YOU alive,
It invigorates your mind,
So never stop creating new,
Your poems, your paint, your thing,
Spend your days thinking deep,
About how to spread your wings.

.with waves reaching and touching your feet
...sands of heavenly bliss.
..forbear the stress and just lay down in my lap
...get cordialized by the dimness of the sun
..
.feel the nature that invigorates...
walk over bridges of peace and love with thick layer of leaves in fall.
...
get acquiesced by the nature and breathe in the heaven leaving the abyss behind!!!!

To reach a higher power we need a higher frequency. Prayer is one way
to arrive at the door fully dressed and ready to join the Universal light.
Those that have gone before us are paving the way and sending us
vows of love through angelic energies and devout prayer. (BREATHE)
Place yourself in a quiet room surrounded by candle flame or stand
next to the stars that are out on a solitary night. Either way you will
be in full view of heavens, alongside those who have gone ahead.
Immerse yourself in the celestial bliss of God's eternal light.(BREATHE)
The earth is a womb that never ceases to hold and comfort the living.
Heaven is the cathedral that never ceases to minister, so breathe
slowly and loose yourself through prayer .
Look how the rain invigorates, see how the life giving waters of worship
drench, yes you are God's flower. He is planted in your heart and in the order of all things, He has placed you 1st, so you too must place Him 1st in your life. (BREATHE )
To reach a higher power we need to reach a higher frequency. This can only be done through meditation, prayer worship and devotion. Cease the light and pass the torch, in love and light.
Your Sister , In Christ.

Narrative
I see the beauty in your brokenness
The brilliance in your sad eyes
The exuberant smile tugging at your lips
The passion that escapes in your touch
The softness of your harsh words
The tenderness of your anger
I’m not afraid by your brokenness
For I am broken too
In different ways
In different places
Perhaps less obvious
But broken nevertheless
I welcome your brokenness
For I know, it makes you need me
It makes you want me to bind you together
In a strong and shielding embrace…
A restraining embrace that holds the brokenness together
Not letting even one piece fall
Not letting one piece crash
You ask me how?
How can I love a broken vessel?
I can’t believe you don’t know the answer!
Look at your reflection in my eyes
Do you see any brokenness there?
Look…you are beautiful, my love, my life
In my eyes…there, there is the truth
For I don’t see as others see
My eyes see what lies inside this broken vessel…
A heart that’s pure and devoted
A spirit that was born to soar
A soul that sanctifies
And mind that invigorates
I see…I see it all
It doesn’t matter what the world sees
I only see beauty
Because you are mine
You are MINE!
Your brokenness allures me
Come, my love
Let us fuse our broken parts together
And make each other whole!

WATER
Water Invigorates the Human Body
Hydration is so important for our body’s creation
to maintain as we play, run, and exercise
Our fluids start leaving our body through sweating
Dehydration can be life-threatening
Requisite is so important for water filtration for our benefit
Safe, clean drinking water to filter and make definite
Safe water supply , impermeable with safe amount of fluoride
Adequate drinking water is however, scarce in many hot regions
Precipitation released from the clouds in different forms;
Water cycle to our Earth
It cools and condenses into rain,
freezing rain, snow, or hail in the clouds
falling to the surface clean and clear
Water evaporates from the surface of the earth
rising again into the atmosphere
It varies in the amount that falls thought out the world
Making our earth seventy-one percent water
Besides the water that exists beneath the Earth’s surface
Leaving twenty-nine percent continents and island
Three point five percent is freshwater lakes and in crystallization form
As glaciers polar ice caps
If you could melt all the ice, the sea level would rise
Water itself is not blue, water gives of blue light upon reflection
Water invigorates the human body, animals, and plants
It is also important element on earth to survive
No water no life on earth

The scent of Spring invigorates the air
when the rivers and lakes no longer freeze;
and a searing sun melts away despair.
Winter's white duvet, sullied and threadbare,
gets replaced by budding bushes and trees;
the scent of Spring invigorates the air.
Wildflowers blossom with color and flare
as sweet aromas perfume every breeze;
and a searing sun melts away despair.
Green patches start sprouting up everywhere
as saplings begin to unfold their leaves;
the scent of Spring invigorates the air.
Daffodils start popping up here and there,
gambling that Spring's arrival's not a tease;
and a searing sun melts away despair.
A treat for the senses, fragrant and rare;
one whiff and your tensions begin to ease.
The scent of Spring invigorates the air;
and a searing sun melts away despair.
