I Love Spring

I love the rejuvenation of Spring; Her energy invigorates my heart. For anticipating the warmth she'll bring; Daffodils are off to an early start. I love the first caressing touch of Spring, massaging my skin on a sunny day. For on hearing a Robin Redbreast sing, Winter doldrums silently slip away. I love the sweet, sensual scent of Spring as wildflowers magically appear. And the fresh feeling, gentle breezes bring, letting me know, Spring is finally here. I love the subtle arrival of Spring, a reprieve from Winter's inclement sting.

Indeed, Emile. Spring does bestow many magnificent natural gifts and your beautiful sonnet sings Spring's praises beautifully. Your splendid imagery is emotionally stirring, setting of perfectly the impact of your appreciative closing couplet.. Excellent poetry my friend. Warmest wishes always.. ~Susan
