I Love Spring
I love the rejuvenation of Spring;
Her energy invigorates my heart.
For anticipating the warmth she'll bring;
Daffodils are off to an early start.
I love the first caressing touch of Spring,
massaging my skin on a sunny day.
For on hearing a Robin Redbreast sing,
Winter doldrums silently slip away.
I love the sweet, sensual scent of Spring
as wildflowers magically appear.
And the fresh feeling, gentle breezes bring,
letting me know, Spring is finally here.
I love the subtle arrival of Spring,
a reprieve from Winter's inclement sting.
