Best Inquisitive Poems
She entertains fantasies
of unicorns and dragons.
And her discerning spirit,
often thinks outside the box.
She is an illusionist,
famed for her vanishing act.
And breaking with tradition,
she chooses how she'll live life.
She weathers stormy outbursts,
resistant to lightning's flame.
And with nothing but a smile,
forms rainbows from drops of rain.
She questions the relevance
of a closed reality.
And seeking enlightenment;
touts spirituality.
The truth forged within her heart,
tests the mettle of your soul.
And seeds of hope germinate,
in the light of her aura.
An inquisitive soul, she
wears innocence as a shawl.
And sparks curiosity,
with her accent of wonder.
The tree stood tall, looking at me,
as if iit had eyes looking exquisitely
Staring with questions, I have no answer for
Grounded in life with deep roots to the core
Strong, enduring, through all seasons to face
Many trees fill mountains in this northern place
I looked at the tree still and silent as can be,
knowing all the while, it has lessons to teach me

Could a scythe cut a slice
from a sycamore tree?
If a bird had no feathers
what bird would it be?
If a square had three corners
would it still be a square?
Will your curls always swirl
if you tug at your hair?
My curls will always swirl
For questions make them so
You will question me ‘why’
when my answer is ‘no’.
If I answer you ‘yes’
You will question with ‘how’
If a tree could grow knowledge
I'd reach for a bough.
On a warm, bright, sun-soaked golden dawn,
a green, slimy, crawly worm woke up,
eagerly burst out from his snug abode,
opened tiny googly eyes, mesmerized!
He didn't know where his darling mother was!
He only knew his stomach was rumbling...
feeling hungry, started to crawl lazy,
and chew on the juicy tender leaves !
This creepy, crawly, greenish…but
brainy worm managed to squish, in the
cozy backpack of a school-going child,
learning his main goal, isn't it lot of fun!
Crunch, crunch! Munch, munch! Aren't books tasty!
Inquiring worm did not hesitate,
as many yummy books he could bite,
he crammed in his belly right away!
"Whow! I feel so enlightened, not an
insignificant worm any more, my
picture should be labelled "Bookworm" Buddy
at children's favourite library door!"
"before long I will turn into
a scintillating butterfly, and
spread my wings and my newly-acquired
knowledge to this wide beautiful world!"

happy stranger knows
little boy wants candy canes
he makes them right there
Leonardo da Vinci felt flying
was possible, sketching wings in detail.
And the fact that birds flew kept him trying,
even when all of his efforts would fail.
An artist and a brilliant engineer,
he designed dreams drawn by his gifted pen.
But his passion for flying was sincere,
although that goal eluded him back then.
All his life, he invented contraptions
designed to unlock the secrets of flight.
And his alterations and adaptions
haunted his inquisitive dreams at night.
Yet, despite how much one may desire it,
some indulgences fate will not permit.
As I peer at the crimson skies,
I can only imagine the sparkle,
In your wonderfully inquisitive eyes,
But, it’s your words that have shown me,
Even during the never-ending dreary night,
The sun always shines warm and bright.
Somehow
there is a barrier
when I take your hand
And other times you allow me
to grasp not only what you impart,
But you give your heart to my hands.
Mine is always in your possession.
Sometimes your eyes show
me their expanse and draw
mine into the deepest gaze
of our soul's mine shaft
where we look for gold together
But sometimes you look at me
as a stranger
and I am left with
question marks in my eyes.
I want to say just I want to love you forever,
for I know life will not be easy if i don't accept it.
If I carry on with my love i will make an excellence of emotion,
life will thus taken on a active note.
I will simply understand and make my world,
just to live in it with never say die approach,
one who looks for its goal objectively,
thus reach to its destination with ease and newness.
I love you thus to realize the self in order to understand you.
Jobs left are in plenty that we will have to do together.
And I just say that our bodies are different yet soul one.
God has made our combination for a fructifying effort.
I fear if we don't live together,
our togetheness is our never ending happiness.
Just know me with a perfect smile,
and I will see that everything goes on smoothly all the while.
I love you to understand the natures creation.
Our love makes a family,
just to go on wth life in all its circumstances,
to ward off the difficulties and to accept the reality.
Thus love makes all sense to know this relation,
if we carry on love it makes remembrances of splendid emotions,
things that takes us to new places,
that makes us to believe with satisfaction ,
making thus life enjoyable and full of commitment.
I am sure your love takes me to tenacity of purpose,
and handle with care the things to be done,
problems of life are solved with love
and annihilation of these problems takes me to bounden duty.
Your love thus makes me a man with a deep sense of realisation,
to accept life in all its proposition.
I find my affairs messy if I don't love you,
and to not love you is just like walking on a slippery path,
that will take me to apocalypse,
and from your love I have realised that world has not to perish.
Your love fills me with inqusitiveness,
it is just knowing, making and living in this word.
From your love I have learnt how to care
thus put an end to vicissitudes of life in totality.

Since day one, Greta has melted my heart.
Inquiring, curious right from the start…
When we played “Let’s go see!”
she would cackle with glee,
but oh can that girl have big come-aparts!
"Mommy, is god everywhere?"
"Yes, honey, god is everywhere."
"Does that mean god's in the toilet?"
"I suppose so."
"If I flush god is he still in the toilet?"
"Yes, he'd still be there."
"Is god in the pus from a popped pimple?"
"Go cut me a switch so I can give you a whipping."
An inquisitive mind..
Wants answers
One who is always searching
Searching for unsolved mysteries
Mysterious occurrences in life...
An inquisitive mind is always fascinated..
Fascination of this wondrous planet
A deep desire of unraveling anything from its infancy
A burning curiosity...
Why is always the question..
Ask you shall know
Ask you shall receive
All information is at your doorstep
Of which is stored in your subconscious..
Inquisitive allows knowing...
Inquisitive allows learning
Inquisitive allows teaching..
An education which is priceless..
He or she who asks
Shall become your teacher..
Inquisitive
On this at at this time I feel what is missing
It rarely shows itself but does now
Why I don’t know?
The very rare feeling missing is this
That I have no family of my own
No blood lines to continue my lineage
My parents are dead and I’ve no siblings
Nor do I have and children of my own
Not in that very specific regard
This last stings and causes me
The melody that visited me now
And in the hours as I lay dozing
Wondering how it would be
If my life was normal in that ways
With a nice gal the same as me
Who saw the world thru similar eyes
Gave me 6 kids who are my own kind
Or even different that’s fine
As half of my blood is in their veins
But none of that ever happened
Nor ever will not in this life
Except in my dreams since the 1980s
I never did get it right with gals
Or family matters so it’s a What if?
Just like my mythical Royal Air Force career
If I could turn the clock back I would
But that’s not possible except in dreams
It’s fine for I accept my life actions and myself
I exist in the Kingdom of Nick and I did good
In all areas in life except the missing one
I shed no tears for my alternate history
