Inquisitive Tree
The tree stood tall, looking at me,
as if iit had eyes looking exquisitely
Staring with questions, I have no answer for
Grounded in life with deep roots to the core
Strong, enduring, through all seasons to face
Many trees fill mountains in this northern place
I looked at the tree still and silent as can be,
knowing all the while, it has lessons to teach me
