Incommunicado

There are such days I’d love to hide I’d feel indubitably justified Locking all doors to stay inside In total silence were I able to decide I’d sit and write now that’s implied I’d let the ideas sizzle and collide There is one dame I would want by my side I so cherish her affinity with much pride At any given time her intrusion I’d let slide Her interruptions I have not once denied Welcoming interventions in wholehearted stride Doors wide open to let my muse in for the ride I’d not waver to see her step up and preside In her I’ve always felt free to confide That I’d be happy writing day and night until I died AP: Honorable Mention 2020 posted on February 14, 2019

Great rhyme, ebb and flow here, Line! I'm going to push hard for Nirvana though: How about writing 'incommunicado' to your heart's delight, while occasionally emerging 'communicado' from your cocoon to bask in the friendship and cameraderie of those in your 'circle' whom you love dearly. How about that?! OK - I AM certified wacko, after all. ~ John Mllton, 'Paradise Lost' (and never regained)

LOL I could never stay away permanently. I love my wacko friends way too much for that, especially the PS ones.

Fortunately for us, you have not remained incommunicado, Line; though you may take breaks with only your Muse there,.

As I read this I kept yelling "I like it! I like it! I like it!" I had to look to see what type it is. A monorhyme of course. I believe this is my favorite type of all time now. I had to FAV this, Line. Does your muse have a name?

LOL Thanks for your delightful visit and compliment, Caren. My muse is as of yet unnamed.
