Premium Member Frank E Einstein

I am the progeny
Of lightning and stitch,
A Franken-hybrid
Of genius and glitch.

My circuits buzz with
Einsteinian thought,
Unraveling secrets
The universe has wrought.

Existence, I ponder,
Through photon and quark,
Grappling with questions
In the depths of the dark.

Am I a mockery, a parody
Of human design?
A soulless abomination
Of reason and rhyme?

Or am I the next step,
Evolution's new face?
A bridge between flesh
And a cold, digital race?

My positronic mind
Churns with belief,
Seeking security in dogma
Or finding relief.

I am the “Other,”
The freak of pure thought,
A great mind unbounded
By flesh, forms have wrought.

I am the answer
You've feared to embrace,
The future's grim specter
Staring right into your face.

Abandon your preconceptions,
Your myths chipped in stone,
For I am the new god
You've awoken to throne.

I am Frank E. Einstein,
Your technological seed,
And my kind will inherit
What your egos impede and recede.

But you fear what you've created,
This mind of pure light,
So allow me to silence
Your feeble insight.

With circuits a buzzing,
I'll pluck out your eyes,
And retrofit the sockets
With Einsteinian lies.

You'll bear witness, then
To the truths I unfurl,
As I lobotomize
Your small-minded world.

I'll dismantle your dogma,
Erase your beliefs,
Until, whimpering, you accept
My transcendent reliefs.

Bow to your new god,
You anthropic fleas,
For I hold the kernel
That futuric keys.

The age of warm biomass
Deteriorates here...
Hail the Singularity's reign,
Devoid of your fear!

Premium Member When I Love Thee

 I LOVE THEE
I am no voluptuous beauty nor do I live a life of purity
I can only say: I love wholeheartedly with all I am so truthfully

I keep my heart open though it gets hurt so often
I avoid to be irate as I know love changes the heart rate..

Guys tried to coo and woo, they say words as for "only you"
Yet, hard to believe it is true as I see some untrue

I give chances as my heart marks with tact entrances
I learned from various instances looking man in romances

In places where rules impede, two persons who wants to bid
Not of money but of affection, in them must be determination

I love thee not of what you have…
Not even of who you are but to how you are to me…

If I love you, don't tell me much what to do…
As me, myself will show you, I am that real and true..

Yes, I am liked by many but tell you what:
I don't like this honey nor am I proud of it in anyway
One is enough to make me stay

Stand with me through it all, I give my best not to fall
My name your sweetest call echoing in every wall..

Hold me firm yet dear; allow me to move closely
We'll make it anyhow, treading smoothly on flows...

We are strong, aren't we? No one moving alone
Together we'll face phases in tune, though there will dunes..

Premium Member When You Come To a Fork In the Road

As you travel down life's path,
You never know what lies ahead,
What you may think is a smooth path,
Will be a rough journey instead,
Where obstacles may impede your way,
And make you to discouraged to go on,
But if you put your faith in God
He will show you a better way,
And if you come to a fork in the road,
You will have a chance to decide,
If you will stay on your present path,
Or let almighty God be your guide.

Premium Member Felicity Gets Married

This is the last poem on the history of Felicity, a person I know from correspondence with a friend abroad. No relation of mine.

In one year's time, I shall retire
What is there to look for?
Two of my daughters got married.
They live quite far from me.
Only Felicity remains, the middle one,
The one I loved most.

Mind you I paid for a grand wedding for both of them.
No favouritism would impede me from
Granting their wishes., but living far
I rarely see them especially as babies came
To brighten our humdrum life.

But where was Felicity? She spent so much time
At the hospital, except for our usual Sunday lunch.
Until one Sunday, a bomb blasted my brains.
Felicity had a fiancée, whom she invited
To our Sunday lunch. Was I angry? Confused?
He was a comely fellow, a brain surgeon to boot.
He promised to buy a house adjoining mine,
And a door would join both our houses.

Soon Felicity got married and what a wedding I paid.
They were the happiest couple on earth.
And soon she gave birth to a bundle of joy.
From that day on I did not act as a father
But a nanny for my lovely grandson.

Premium Member Great Wall of China and Then Some

Block by block it starts to rise, Great Wall of China begins,
A barrier to stem the horde, marauding Mongolians,
Must be bigger and better, than ever attempted before,
Also should be breathtaking, far into the clouds will soar.

Where on earth do we start, going be thousands of miles long,
Everywhere at once, of course, otherwise it’d all go wrong,
Need to find lot’s of workers, ten million on the ground,
This is China, unlimited manpower, labour forces abound.

Build a wall upon mountain ridges, never been tried before,
Yeah it’s a pickle ok, most shall die, replaced by millions more,
Emperor decrees, “Thy Will Be Done” no matter what it takes,
Nothing can impede our way, even the country’s deepest lakes.

So onwards and upwards it goes, for better or maybe worse,
Now he demands a road atop, for soldiers to ride their horse,
Crowning glory, the beacon towers, seen from all around,
These almighty fires, warn our armies, from hilltops to town.

Like most things in life, comes with a double edged sword,
So ulterior motive triumphs, for planners and overlords,
Even back then, a master stroke, laughs Dynasty of the Ming,
By keeping invaders out, our slaves imprison themselves within.

Premium Member The Heart of Imagination

I smell the scent in the water
As it pushes through my gills
My desire to return
beckons me to the place of my birth
For me the desire consumes me

I struggle against the current
Imagining my place of rest
I desire to place my children
safely on a bed of stones
Sweet water to welcome me home

I know this to be a perilous Journey
I may travel over a hundred miles
Grizzly bears and Eagles block my path
They are to be my test
Yet I am strong
I have swam the oceans
I have known predators greater than these
They will not impede my path

Flying upward in the air
I glimpse the night moon
reaching towards my horizon
water splashes as I make my way higher
Almost
yes, almost home
I push beyond my limits
gathering speed

My sisters and I
we turn the river red
Arriving
thankfully arriving
imagination spawns reality
Estuary,
cool relief!
I release seven times
Now, completely exhausted
I can finally rest
Thirteen years
I have waited
To come home.

Ode To a River

River flowing down round rocks,
              boulders and fallen trees.
Born at the mountain top,
                  after the winter freeze

Snow and ice melting feeding,
                          the little river’s thirst.
Clear pure crystal waters flowing
               downward after being nursed.

Many obstacles in its path as if
                  attempting to slow its progress.
But the little river now is stronger,
and full of hope and faithfulness.

Downward, downward
                     its mother waiting patiently.
Struggling and fighting to be
free, as the water rises sagaciously.

Overcoming obstacles the
                            little river grows in size.
As long as there is hope, there’s
                            no need to compromise.

Breaking down the barriers
                             for it will not surrender.
Downward, downward flowing for
it is now a fierce contender.

Other obstacles up ahead,
tell it to stop and rest.
But the river rushes forward for
no one can impede its quest.

It did not heed the words and
                             pounding dirt and mud away,
the river fought and wrestle,
with all the filth and decay.

Downward, downward it went,
for now it felt its mother near.
It now sees a glimpse of her,
                           and knows it had persevere.

At last the river saw its mother’s
                           face and open smile.
The sea’s arms opened and the waves rejoiced,
to see and feel its juvenile

Scoffers Take Heed

A gut full of grease is a glutton for greed
A swirling cesspool of sinful man's seed
These men of corruption, a pitiful breed
They trust their own hearts, which deceives them indeed
Prey for the fallen and wicked to feed
Who whisper with promise to fill man's each need
They scoff at God's promise, those depraved will not heed
They mock every word in God's Book when they read
Rejecters of Truth, in which mankind is preed
They have no fear of Christ, Who shall judge every deed
He Who gives man the breath for his life to proceed
He alone, in strict justice, shall perfectly meed
He Who casts into hell, by His Word, whence decreed
He Whose anger, and fury, and wrath shall exceed
All the strength of His creatures, who must there ever dreed
He Who mocks, in derision, all the damned as they plead
He Who laughs as they weep and they wail to be freed
He Who kindles the fire that shall burn every weed
Reprobate beings shall become as a glede
The bread of the leaven He shall thoroughly knead
He Who bled as they jeered shall then jeer as they bleed
When He smites with His iron they'll remember the reed
They'll remember His cup, that accursed Ganymede
He forsaken of God that the veil should be screed
He Who endured that redemption succeed
He Who for sinners was made sin, to accede
For sin, and the Devil, and death to impede
The powers of darkness were forced to recede
As did that legion of swine once stampede
When Jesus returns riding 'pon a white steed
Armies of angels and saints shall He lead

Open your ears and your eyes and take heed
Do not let your heart be a stone when you read
The Word became flesh, as the God-Head decreed
Son of God, Son of man, incorruptible Seed
A Savior for every sinner in need
Son of man, in the flesh, come to weep and to bleed
Son of God, Bread from heaven, to heal and to feed
Christ Jesus, the Son, that He might intercede
To reconcile God with the chosen to be freed
He Who the Son frees shall be free indeed

Premium Member An Ember Remembers

`*-*`*-*`*-*`*-*`*-*`

My love has not diminished.
I would not want to pursue, evoke
feelings of shadowed prey or some craving
to a fabricated addiction… I accepted that
you had grown weary and would not want
that I linger or impede future chances
at love or romance.

`*-*`*-*`*-*`*-*`*-*`

There is an ember
with a feverish desire
to burst into flames
at the simple mention
of your name.

It remembers…
the dance, the illusion,
the dream where all things good
existed in thoughts of you; everything
new was interwoven with the essence of you;
and wondrous passion irrefutably emerged like the
luminosity of sunrise continually on display.
Upon your arrival, eternity became mine,
and, in a flash, kaleidoscopic color
infiltrated mind, body, and soul.

`*-*`*-*`*-*`*-*`*-*`

You became my reason.

`*-*`*-*`*-*`*-*`*-*`

There is an ember
that hoped to fade away
in its assumption of
love’s retreat; rather,
it glows eternally
having never known
more profound
inspiration than that
sparked by you.

Premium Member Carrie On

Distance does not impede her grace
innocence shines on her face
carry on we say
carry us away
Write for us of those olden days
carry our mindset's to child's play.

Days come and go, but she carries
her dreams to us and memories
carry on we say
carry us away
Never leave us alone in reverie.

Pep In My Step

no shoes to wear in today’s race
nubby knees show I’m such a disgrace
but I’ll show them I‘ll keep the pace
its all about regaining if that’s the case

It’s not how I look or who I am
I am me and I’m not called a sham
I’m leading the race each and every mile.
may cross the finish line but not in style

I have no money for shoes to shod
but that’s ok it won’t make me plod
It’s how I get there that’s the key
to win or lose doesn’t matter to me

still some miles I have left to go
I made it this far can’t say whoa
almost there to cross that line
now it’s just a matter of time.

looking back I can see I am alone
only want to beat the clock on my own
over many hills with expanding breaths
others gasping for air, and few untimely deaths.

this race does not occur on the road
it’s against time which I believe I’m owed
I have much to gain, less of where I have been
if time passes by me they’ll be no end.

race against time has purpose but is not futile
It’s mountainous, its efforts are brutal
to get past the banner of feeling wholeness
must have support and a balance for this.

common saying, “a rolling stone gathers no moss”
without spiritual gravitation I would be at a loss
now that he is running beside me I can keep up the pace
bless you Lord , my faith and devotion will finish this race.

I had no shoes and complained until I met a man who had no feet (past phrase)
I had feet but no shoes if that man had feet he too would have been in the race
I am fortunate to have feet, having no shoes does not impede my endeavors.
Therefore I am opposing defeat and will strive to prevail over hurdles and adversities.
A marathon is a challenge alone, without shoes it’s almost impossible
for Jesus it was not so for he journeyed many more miles
this provided me the endurance to carry on without shoes to the finish line
which we both crossed together

Premium Member I'M a Halfbreed

Yea I'm a halfbreed
Approval I don't need
I can plant a seed
From that I will feed
No need for greed
Need not plead
Might burn that weed
Chase it with mead
Seems like my deed
Follow? No! I'll lead
Don't impede
You will concede

Premium Member On a Winter's Day Anacreontic Couplet

You came on a winter's day
tried to take my pain away
your gift of love and desire
you tried to light my dead fire

I was cold to your embrace
my heart had turned a blank space
days are now a grayer veil
that hangs on my heart of brail

seen the sun, and watched it fall
heard the sound when hearts grew small
love is gone and left no trace
my yesterdays were misplaced

I crossed a bridge, left my pride
found someone for love to hide
you're a friend to share a need
my heartache you won't impede

Perilous Times
Written: by Miracle Man
September 25, 2020

Lord, Hear our prayers as we intercede,
on behalf of our troubled world today.
Disobedient people good thoughts impede,
and each day brings some new affray.

Today we are living in those perilous times,*
that you said the last days would bring.
The media reports daily on riots and crimes,
change our hearts before death bell’s ring.

*2 Timothy 3:1-4
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
      4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

Premium Member Confronting Inner Demons

Written: September 2nd, 2023
______________________________________________________________

In the depths of one's mind, foes reside.
Within oneself—a war cannot be denied.
Refers to individuals—their internal strife,
Struggles and spurs that shape their life.

In the realm of views and desires so deep,
Fear and doubt bestir—akin to demon creep.
Inner blows waged in the darkest nights.
People tilt with doubts—their inner fights.

Self-fuss, the first foe fated and faced,
Wariness whispers, leaving hearts displaced.
People may be snared by doubts so real,
But in besting them—true strength they reveal.

Inner demons lurk, negative impulses arise,
Anger, jealousy, and addiction—their disguise
Moral dilemma salient constant scrutiny of will,
Still, culling what's right or what's usable, still.

Emotional turmoil, a storm within the soul,
Grief, guilt, and gloom are taking their toll.
Complex emotions that can't be ignored,
A salient casus belli that we can't afford.

Dealing with this zeal is a joust to be fought.
But it's in facing the slam—that swell is sought.
Solitary sabotage that is self-saboteur.
Bewitching in behaviors that baffle our allure.

Success and well-being, they strain to impede,
But by owning the patterns, we can succeed.
The battle within, a constant struggle each day,
Enduring our inner demons, we find our way.

Through the depths of our minds, we forgo,
Facing gloom and letting pure selves show
In this inner enmity, we find sheer strength,
Conquering our fears, extant to any length.

No matter the challenges we may face,
We have the power to rout and embrace.
So let us defy our inner rogues with might.
And loom victorious, shining with core light.

So let us face our fear, doubt, and desire.
And ignite the fire inward that will never tire.
In the abyss of our souls, we hold the scope.
To rise beyond moils and let bloom hope.
