Carrie On

Distance does not impede her grace
innocence shines on her face
carry on we say
carry us away
Write for us of those olden days
carry our mindset's to child's play.

Days come and go, but she carries
her dreams to us and memories
carry on we say
carry us away
Never leave us alone in reverie.

She'll love that for sure. It's feels good when someone writes about you. And yes, I do think we still have inhibitions in our dreams ... though sometimes oddly skewed ... ha

Gulp ! gulp! Thanks to Ruben's comment, (he just told me to check your latest poem))...I am so touched, and flattered! Especially coming from you, the one who has patiently guided, and mentored me,without even pulling out all your hair...(hopefully!!), helped me improve from a fledging no-nothing wanna-be poet...to actually filling my binder with a few adequate poems. Thank you so much Deb....means a lot coming from one who I admire mucho!! (blushing here!) :) xoxoxo
