When You Come To a Fork In the Road

As you travel down life's path,
You never know what lies ahead, 
What you may think is a smooth path,
Will be a rough journey instead,
Where obstacles may impede your way,
And make you to discouraged to go on,
But if you put your faith in God
He will show you a better way,
And if you come to a fork in the road,
You will have a chance to decide,
If you will stay on your present path,
Or let almighty God be your guide.

Line 4.., 'WILL be a rough journey instead ' ?? Not perhaps, 'Might be'? You say He (God) might show me a better way if I put my faith in him.., erm.. So.., you have decided for the secular reader that God is non female? :) all the best.

The language here is not that of religious poetry, but the message has a religious tone. Nothing heavy or hard to understand in this. All is simple and right to the point. Thanks, Luis A. Estable
