Forever Masquerade

She comes to me impalpable.
A courtesan of crimson red dreams.
Her words fall from her lips in ethereal melodies.
Pulling my twine to seal the seams.
The nature of her existence,
Whispering along the hue of my suspended form.
Her voice becomes substantial to my eyes.
She recreates images of a thunderstorm.
Lightning cracked as she portrayed,
A landscape engulfed by dark clouds with no rain.
Beneath the canopy people danced a masquerade.
The music played on as they stepped their sin.
Entering among them, a mask upon my face,
An aching search ebbing within.
There through the crowd soft brown eyes met my gaze.
She swam through the dancing sea taking my hand.
We began to merge our steps; souls ablaze.
There adrift the violin of the forgotten land.
The reason for our creation became known.
As we held each other in such a caring way.
Something between us had secretly grown.
We would remain dancing together. Forever and a day.

The Flowers Of Love

The flowers of love

That you gave to me

Have blossomed, have blossomed

And under the flaming sky

And in the impalpable sunlight

Pieces of me

Percolated from far edges of the universe

And together merged into love.

For when I say

That I love

The meaning is this:

That my heart is fire.

That my mouth is parched.

That my hands are full of bruises.

That my eyes burn holes in the walls.

Love me.

Love me like cloud loves lightning

Love me like tenderness loves intensity

Love me like galaxy loves the quasar

Love me like orchid loves rain.

Feel my fire

Running through you

Feel my fire

Without end or beginning

Feel my fire

As I burn for you

Feel my fire

Feel my fire.

We can't be together

But I burn for you

You love me from afar

But I burn for you

There are miles between us

But I burn for you

But I burn for you day and night.

The flowers of love

Can be seen

Sometimes in meadows

Sometimes in vases

And sometimes near people's gravestones

And sometimes someone would water them

Hoping to keep them around for a while.

So do not mind me

No, do not mind me

As I water

The flowers

Of love

That you gave to me

With something extraordinary

With something red and viscous

With something that carries nutrients

With the very blood

Of

My

Heart.

Delirium Divides

In the corner of my room,
you’ll find many a decentralizing delirium dust
Where my mind does consume,
peripheral visions of a malevolent distrust
Deprivations that entomb,
metabolic disturbances of cunning combust
Temporal lesions loom,
of psychotic disorders in a state of thriving thrust.

I see you but cannot touch,
thru nociceptive nightmares nurturing night
Hallucinogens that will crutch,
frantic neurons paleocortical penal plight
I feel you but cannot clutch,
a dimensional dementia in a demons fright
Denunciative delusions a monstrous much,
external images in fetal flight.

I sense you but cannot taste,
chemoreceptic catacombs of a pernicious smell
Stimuli distortions of waste,
proprioceptors penetrating the gates of hell
The love I give is displaced,
impalpable illusions within a condemned cell
The love received defaced,
from a schizophrenic defamatory defunctive dwell.

Tale of Inner Child

Chasing your tail forever like a dog
Into the forest, confusion of the fog
A door that’s locked, without a key
Asleep you found it, woke not to be
Where is this tail, where did it go?
Pondering on my knees, to and fro
As a young lad, kept in my pocket
Never will leave, stuck like a locket
Trying to hold on, losing a tight grip
Some just let go, abandon the ship
Children don’t seek it, too abundant
Adults will tell you, it can be funded
Look at children, exuding it affably
As you age, begins to fade rapidly
Replaced with things, can’t add up
Shows in spurts, then soon erupts
That impalpable tail, where’d it go?
Ask a child, even they don’t know
Innocence of fooling as a wee one
Priceless, like the shine of the sun.

My Rhetoric Rhapsody

My Rhetoric Rhapsody

Oh! I am a Poet
It’s me again pretty poet of the century,
Breaking through till I reach mercury.
A pretty poet with popping phrases,
A poor poet with perpetual personality.
Praying that my poems pulls out pieces of pleasure,
Arouses interest, motivates and inspires.

Oh! I am a Poet
Who teaches as he preach
On every inch that becomes a cliché
And leaves your ears aching when reached.
Who frees frozen feelings of Refugees.
Who unfolds fundamental mysteries of false phenomenon.
Who washes and enshrines shameful ships on a sea shore,
Assuring Sheppard of Shelter by Lord Krishna.

Oh! I am a Poet
A rock solid hardcore poet
Self proclaimed Fundi
A super duper verse creator
A self sufficient professor
A prodigy not a protégé
A dictator not an agitator
A toughie not a roughie

I don’t recite to hear myself talk
I don’t talk to be noticed
I don’t take Hobson’s choice
Nor hobble to a hoax
I don’t settle for a bird in hand
Nor crawl for half a loaf
My reaches exceeds my grasp
My wishes akin to my riches

My poems are my pillar
My wits are my tools
No hocus pocus for my hoi polloi
I’m not a hoity-toity poet who scribbles down hokum poetry
My poetry is impalpable,
Inexplicable and impeccable.
My creativity is infallible.
My verses so impregnable.
I am an imperious poetic licensee

I am a rusty epic epidemic through youth poets’ wannabes,
A penurious poet who indulge in perilous peripheries.
My masterpiece is not some common handwritten handiwork on handkerchief.
I craft them like a handicapped handyman with no haphazard!

And this is my Rhetoric Rhapsody...
See, when I rhyme my rhymes that hum like hymns
And step on my Poetic Stiletto heels to find open minds
And dine in a pile of my rhymes...
My mimes start to mime my rhymes

And this is a route where I quote that this is not over yet...

Lament Of A Fallen Peaceful Warrior

Dreamt as I hover amongst the distant stars I never existed
No hands or feet or words of regret discernibly heard or said

                                             ----------------------

Wisdom in absence fail to disallow peace to vanish in thin air
Frenzied voices roar aloud while impregnable walls shattered
In clandestine dungeons hidden tears accrued to gun powder
Explodes like thunder for promises of love eventually faltered

Most chauvinistic of senses heart of virtuousness admonishes
Bares distended egos of men claiming their cruelest conquest
Power and greed and envy amass even in gravity free spaces
Truly mesmerized by immoral desire to suffocate the weakest

Tried to escape bloody scenes of war which makes skin quiver
Restraining enduring wrath for revenge to punish the evil doer
Beneath burial ground where cold eroding bones in solitude be
Justice shifting dark to light these eyes are not destined to see

                                               ----------------------

Within this endless void I aimlessly probe for ultimate meaning
An impalpable force caresses this lost spirit crying for the living

Daughter of July

DAUGHTER of JULY

Impalpable wealth - in family
My children, are my messiah
The true road to immortality
Once dead - we disintegrate in to dust
Passing on this planet - to the ken we entrust
They learn our behavior, absorb our personality.
This daughter is a savior, and pure pride;
without a doubt. Incorruptibly.
Pro-creation is the closest
to God I have come.
So obdurately - Never.
I bow to none,
yet somehow worth
 has stoked provoking
life is worthy of living;
when you begin
living for someone.
Unconditional adoration
my biography, she’ll memorialize when my life is done.
Her birth has given existence a completion
Tragic or Comedic?
Now that I revolve around a new sun.
Given new reason.
My polarity has flipped
the center of Future. The center of Me.
Love is in orbit, my shade you eclipse.

To My daughter Mallauri Shade with infinite and eternal love and gratitude.

An Impalpable Journey

The past is where bygone memories linger and diffused as mist

The present is where every precious lesson is kept or dismissed

The future is where this eternal spirit wanders in vain or in bliss

The Revolver

With a desk, a cluttered room
Through cracks in shutters I catch the moon
Whirl my tangible face once around the threshold
(Maybe my focus can be found).
What is this I grapple with?
Desire? Or hope?
Perhaps the thought that imprisoned I might choke,
That the dust I lick from a crevice or a floored shirt
Might poison this feeble mind beyond the brink.

Ahh tell me what this is!
By day I sleep till I hear the voices
Those impalpable whispers
Emerging like a wind from uncertain distances
What creature do they speak of?
I cannot appear
With fright I ponder
Would they shut as I bend an ear?
So longer I remain
Inside a clod of splintered fear
For could I spin the brutal revolver
And rasp down the side of a phone
"Hello, there's a caf? not far from here."

I?denote? I proclaim?
For I have picked a hundred reeds
And scratched a hundred incantations
I who stretched across the plain
With arid hopes and dried temptation.
I who scrawled upon your name
Recalculated recalculations
To count each card
To time the spin
To watch the table
And dwell on 'begin'
Even then I doubt
Doubt is like a father
You, who I dream of
I perceive voice and smile

But I doubt you should smile with me.

And in age I ponder on another thought
What would have happened?
What could I change?
Had I clung to some notable face
Drawn it as a mask for some loneliness,
Some shame;
To live long in dependence,
Empty hobbies and deafness?
To filter out from the last acquaintance of youth
And sit bitter at opposite ends?

With no quiver I think not to stir
To the infinite decision:
At what point is life not worth the effort
Of living?

I wrote this for a competition, then realising there was a limited on the lines, but I thought I'd upload it anyway, even if not entering the competition, didn't really want to shorten it. Would be typical me to write a poem for a competition before fully checking the requirements.

Enchanted 3

The silver sparkles in her smile
The vermilion arch of her lips
Her warm velvet chuckle
The tufts of hair brooking down her spine
The millions gold of her breast

Ardent lust gleamed in her blush
My heart tramped louder than hoofs
I drooled before the shrine of her glamour
The dust of passion rose fervent
Lucent, glistened our intents

Hooters leaned against the other's
And the gale of our breaths paced to the same trill
The shackles of her grip were
An impalpable touch to my soul
We played tint in the pink of daffodils

Under the pine fern
In the ochre of the sne'ky sunbeams
The boughs stripped shade before
The topaz sitting in her dimples
Minstrel rose with every kiss
The sways of ****** tinged us
In the lichen, symbiotic to the fern

Her buccal is a brink of honey
Every kiss occupied every hole
Every space in my parched heart
Her kisses are rockets to isles beyond the universe

A shole of butterflies wreathed garlands in whorls
The raceme of matrimonial blossomed out
The bride stood on the dais of my heart
----- Yes I do -----
Sighed our slugged blinks

My Other Half

Right now, Somewhere, You’re flying in this vast blue space, the same sky under which I sit here miles and miles away from you.

I close my eyes, and let the cold breeze caress my face. Its impalpable touch I imagine to be the coldness of your palm, and I feel a chill run down my spine as the coolness descends over me.

I look upward and into the blackness I peep, nothing I see except a hollow space. Wonder how deep it might be… Is there any end to it?

Somehow, the dark doesn’t scare me today because in my head I see your face. I remember that you’re there to be my savior with the vows taken for eternity.

Those hazel brown eyes when falls upon me, I feel a blaze in my chest and the butterflies start fluttering in my tummy.

I lower my eyes and avert my gaze. I feel the heat that evokes underneath my skin, rising up to my chest then neck and then to my face.

Where it subtly settles on my cheek, painting it red, displaying the state of my heart that throbs so hard against my chest. It might as well come out of it.

I collect myself and slowly lift my face, gather courage to look straight into your eyes. Then I see something I’ve never seen before, that I cannot explain otherwise.

Numbness dawns upon me and I cannot move myself, I am held frozen at one place, all I see is a reflection of my own in your eyes.

The color of your eyes seems to get shallower with every second, and I cross over to a realm that was yet unknown to me. I get a glimpse inside your soul, I get enchanted and the contentment feels good to be.

(It’s amazing how a prince, by chance was passing by my kingdom. When he felt the need to stop by, then he entered and wandered around, coming across me.

He looked at me with utter astonishment and then asked in a voice so firm and deep, ‘to be his forever’, to which on my ears I couldn’t believe.

I felt the luckiest on earth, because he was one of a kind. I had heard about his bravery and kindness and how caring he was. Everything felt like a dream because, he was a rare pearl found in the vast ocean…)

Premium Member Arrogance

Arrogance, a sad word holding no purpose in this meaningless world, since we
Revolve upon the commands of some power against which we cannot dare
Rebel, for so subtle and impalpable it is, so divinely mighty, readily
Outpassing our will, denying us of our right to choose for ourselves,
Gorging us with torments, to have us submit to it while we become tragic
Actors and actresses, all dutifully playing out roles in our own
Nether, blindly believing ourselves to be the center of everything that exists, but, if we
Cared to adorn ourselves, with the spiritual commands of this same power, those which
Enunciate of how fickle and short life is, why, our passage on this Earth would be blissful!

Anticipating Aquarius

behind the invisible and locked door Akashic records are re-
corded and monitored (lizards and limbic systems leak fluids)
as druids sacrifice their lives for the harvest and hum…

the swelling cities ramble and babble
beneath sagging and aging wires
disintegrating and integrating
into the impalpable web…boiling brains…

blackness eats mouths growing cancer
as the king’s atomic crown blinds all…

the owl recognizes a voice in the orderly wilder-
ness…the first flakes of snow descend…electric hell glows…

all citizens know and obey the silent titles and epitaphs
etched into our stony silence stabilizing foundations of reality…

the texture of madness caresses my psyche
my eyes envision scythes and scathing words…

…caustic causations eat reason out of my tongue… (who are you?) whispers the auto-
mated unconscious answering silhouettes with symphonies…the negative is the final
answer…contracts contract and species sizzle beneath the riddle penetrating the o-
zone…

Shadows of Obscurity

Here I stare
And sketch myself living
Timing every breath
But the clock remains still
Not a moment passes
An entire existence to spare
One complete
And nothing
Nowhere or time to go
Trapped here
In this ominous setting
Afloat in this once purgatory
Then once more and again
Impalpable designs charcoaled
Shading my ambit in silhouettes
Every turn I take muted
By the shadows of obscurity
