The booming sound of Dhak resonated through the air,
The children squealed in utter merriment at the fair---
Flaunting their newly bought ensemble of myriad hue,
Some were draped in saris, mod jeans donned a few.
The little girl roaming the streets, in a soiled frock half-torn,
Regretted sorely why in affluence she too was not born,
She too had a great craving to have fun and enjoy like they,
But heart-broken she was as she could not afford to pay.
For days she had been starving but she saw all of them eat,
She sorrowfully mused such blatant injustice wasn’t meet,
Some licked dripping ice cream, some gulped down iced coke,
But for her getting a morsel to eat seemed a pathetic joke!
Though Ma Durga with ten hands out-stretched was there,
Was cold and hard-hearted and for her seemed not to care,
A silent tear came rolling down her thin pinched cheeks,
She didn’t have a place to sleep for the past few weeks.
Suddenly a burly policeman roughly held her hand and said,
“At last we have found her, we had thought she was dead”,
“Now what have I done?” asked the girl panicking in dread,
Then freeing herself from his clutches, like a rabbit she fled.
"Your millionaire father has been searching everywhere,
After all our futile efforts, at last we have found you here,"
The girl in profound reverence, said softly a fervent prayer,
"Ma though you seem heartless, now I know you do care!"

Lord Shiva is a great dancer too and he known as 'Nataraja' that is a
symbolic combination of the most important aspects of Hinduism.
He embrace his devotees who ever pray him and give them protections
He destroys the ill nature in man and he grows heavenly light in their heart
to the emergence of divine nature in man
Not only Lord Shiva, gives immense freedom to his devotees to choose
whatever path they want to follow but also shows the way to live happily
"Om Namasivaya" is the great spell to get bless from him.

Which is the easiest way to make two
Indian states to fight?
One is to throw power, language, water-
Issues on their face.
So you’ll have got two Dravid states
Fighting eternally,
O’er slight and petite things for decades
Meaningless, mundane,
So that your Aryan Empire in the
North will have its way
Of flourishing and bringing in caste and
Sect-bred troops set free.
Not one but multiple such issues
Let loose on the south
On the twin sister-states of Tamil Nadu
And Kerala have worn
Out sistership, brotherhood and good-
Will among these two
Peoples, and eroded their history
Of a common past.
Mullapperiyar Dam Water Issue,
Imposing Hindi,
And Koodankülam Atomic Power
Plants are but a few,
Devised by central government to
Keep them warring on
And smoth’ring each other instead of
Pooling their resources.
We will examine each and weigh how
Hampered they progress,
Before we’re onto the treachery of the
Telengana State.

That’s why Shri Ram is the best.

My faith is consumed in the warmth of the aarti,
but as a child I was afraid of that fire.

Prophet Abraham took an axe
He smashed the idols
He broke them except the biggest one in size
He hung the axe around his neck
When the people came back
They were shocked to see broken idols
They said who could have done this
Abraham have you done this to our gods?
He replied ask that big one
They said you know idols can't speak
He said you mean they are just dumb and deaf statues
Why do you worship them if they aren't god?
They started yelling toheen blasphemy disrespect..

Those holy books you hold in hand,
read and quote through all your life,
Holy words most don’t understand,
Misuse it like a double edged knife!
Do not ask god to buy you a house,
Or favour you with an exam pass,
not a referee betwixt you and spouse,
Ask him not to adjudicate such cause!
On many a pilgrimage to holy lands,
Fasting and obedience of many kind,
Walk bare feet on sun baked sands,
Those who do are spiritually blind!
Spread goodness, share it around,
Reject greed and help all who need,
Good deeds are prayers sans sound,
blessings come from poor you feed!
God resides in many words of truth,
In the heart of innocence of a child,
And good lost to arrogance of youth,
In perfection of orbits, in forests wild!
Define not God with your weak soul,
sketch him not with your meek claws,
God is truth that embodies the whole,
Too resplendent for our eyes with flaws!
God lives in calmness of your mind,
In that inner glow of light that is life,
Focus deep within, and you will find,
In the goodness in you he is rife!
She skates along the edge of sanity.
The line between disaster and divine.
Heart now tasting the inhumanity,
without the lonely sip of the sweet wine.
Digging whilst drowning the depths of darkness,
rummaging righteousness religiously.

Watering new life, soaking up the ground.

Over years, in loneliness my heart bled in Sanskrit
All mantras of love have failed in winning her for me
Tell any Tantras to take me ahead in Sanskrit
Behind curtains of temple there was a paradise
Night was pleasant ride, though she spoke in bed in Sanskrit
The awesome civilization left us drowned in thoughts

on the ancient bone

his failing fingers
find not the strength to crush
