Best Heartly Poems

You Are Rare

You are a poet, your words form a poetry,
You are a magician, you have magic in your authenticity,
You are an artist, I adore your life's artistry,
You are perfect, your imperfections shape your existence with clarity,
You are courageous, I take pride in your bravery,
You are kind, I bow before your heart of charity,
You are a happy soul, I will always love you heartly,
You are rare, I worship you in austerity.

The Fog, the Sun and the Kiss

The Fog, The Sun and the Kiss
Jatin Gauttam
March 7th, 2016.

Holding hands, warming grace,
On the roof of a chilling space,
A colder time in January, I guess,
Breathing sighs were our closing phrase...

We sat there whole night, talking things,
Time passed by, counting heart felt strings,
Still holding hands, it felt so loving,
Cared not to foresee where this was going...

Then you laid your head on my shoulder,
I ridden your hand just to hug you closer,
It seemed blessing in the chills of night,
What amazing picture one could get of sight...

Closing in, our hearts matched the frequency,
Then time just took a leap, magically fancy,
Well that moment was, the best of the kind,
I remember every second as it was heartly abide...

First hands, then hearts and then our lips met,
Just then morning comes, shredding the fog to bed,
Nature blessed as we stood kissing amid of that bliss,
Witness were The Fog, the Sun and our magical kiss... :)

Crown of Thorns

Crown of Thorns

A trace of thorns you are
on my body,
I am an eternal traveller,
never stopping.

You are the bitter predicament
of my comfort,
Traces of sensual pleasures -
The mist of a veil is
my constant reminder.

You wound the stubble of my heartly thorns,
I stand alone on the dusty conflagration
Gazing towards an endless void,
I am bridled with the burning pain of the
thorns...

My gaze tirelessly roves,
Prickly are the thorns,
With malediction entwined...

I am drowning in a sweaty torrent,
I am plunging into thorny depths,
bloody and overworked
from the struggle,
I yield myself to
the decision of fate.

Poem
Lionel Derbyshire

O scratchy ear
Why you itch
Is someone near ?
I am just sitting down
Looking at a tile
Which is plastered down
On a floor
With an empty soul.
I contemplate
With frightly expectations.
No thing is guaranteed.
I hear scandal
Lip's are describing me
Heartly tearing me
Their word's are not dear
Tearing right down to the bone.
They myth and they lie
Festering my flesh.
Their knives are long
Castor could be right ..
Pollux could be wrong
Bright stars dim me light
Gemini's out of sight
Their justice talking
Music to my ears ?
Or lyrical decadence
What is the difference ..
In their deceit
There to amuse
Their lie's of me.
Their bugs don't hurt
They stab in my back
Right into my pride.
Word's sorely heard.

I Love You - Dad

My Dad,
You are the strength of life,
You are like a waving winds of rife.
During childhood,
You shout, You beat,
but I knw frm your heart you dn't bitterly
treat.
Its bcz of your efforts we reached here
today.Dad I am very proud of you.

You always had supported to reach our
goal. Its because of you, me and bro had
completed our masters.

You are one of the precious stone who
always is potential enough to handle the
things with mom's support.

Your sincere, arduous work throughout
this many years had made you reach here
today.

You always had been willing to pour rain
and always we feel rejuvenated in our life.

Its because of you destiny miraclelously
changed.

We all heartly congratulate you for your
retirement.

Loads of love and wishes for your
upcoming life.Thanks for everything you
did for us till date and I am sure enough
you will shower your blessings
throughout.

A Dove

A sparrow once flew just over my door.
He sang me a song he knew I’d adore.
And songs were but few as fair as of his,
I hoped it would long and never would cease.

Then often he'd come just over my door,
To sing me his rhymes like no one before.
One could not be numb by such lovely tones,
And our splendid times did enter my bones.

With every song heard just over my door,
It's music turned pale of youthful galore
For voice of the bird was tainted by time,
As if it has sailed away from our prime.

So sparrow took leave just over my door,
And his flight was dim that I could have sworn.
He left me believe that he's gone for good,
Again song of him hear never I would.

Alone I was blue just under my door,
With ache in my heart I missed my tenor,
If I could fly too then I’d follow him,
To hear vocal art his masterful hymn.

But I couldn't fly away from my door,
So I stayed alone with my heartly sore,
Then sorrow passed by each day after day,
Forgotten was tone all blurry and grey.

When morning was clear once over my door,
My sparrow appeared with our songs of yore,
The songs still were dear; they were much the same,
They never were cleared from memory’s frame.

Again felt in love right over my door,
I did in a bit to songs that he bore,
No sparrow, a dove, a beauty and all,
My fire was lit and crumbled my wall.

She then flied away from over my door,
In love was I dropped and left like a corps.
Whenever I stray now out of our love,
To new things I opt the bird is above.

Pet-Sits Panic

oh my little lily

oh my preety lily
you are pretending so silly
ate the toy and even swallow
love you more than other fellow

see your brothers they have been silent
only you made me some how voilent
even though dont think i am angry
i would let you always free.

thank god u are now alright
your face have again become that bright
love you baby love you heartly
i will always treat you dearly

now promise not to do so again
which may make me in deep pain
want to thank god more and more
for making me again rich from poor.

Art In Self

No poet writ for the joy of another's eye,
for the desire clouds your poetry.
What sense is it to satisfy the fellow?
when you writ for others , not self gratification.
Art of words be tossed here and there
but it homes in its wordful owner,
the heart is unbounded by deems and description,
because it only be defined by its heartly artist.
Rich and poor is bestowed with the ability
to portray the colors so lovely within.
Damn the doubtful , impale their questionings
by the hands of GOD they neglect a gift.
We thrive the roads of the lost beings
and our paths will meet whether we want it or not
a wish I have since I was a todd
May I meet the beings , and learn from I, they will.

Family

If good gods got a great heart
Why do innocent kids get hurt
If we are to live life with lots of laughter
Why do orphans get families after their slaughter

I try not to get emotional
Its hard having nothing at all
But If I were an orphan
Tell me you would blow my pain

Blow it bit by bit or in a burst like a bomb
or like a super fan with a fan mum
Like water is searched for by a lily
All they want is a family

A brother to pave the pitter-patter like peter pan
A sweet sister seemingly sent from heaven
A heavily heartly hearted father
A mother like you; like no other

If orphans had you
Like a shepherd has an ewe
Then a little brighter stars would twinkle
And their lives have a little more sparkle

So I thank God for the gift I have
somewhere to go before Christmas and Easter eve
And I hope they get a place they can finally;
Even by second chance; call home, call family!

In Loving Memory of Kate

loves charm is a heartly harm
or a reaping barn
that can break the arm
the arms are too weak
to hold complete
without a leak
love is so fruitful
and is never knowm
for a season of fruitlessness

love is a sun burning pacy
the red skies
the sun is gone
and to the sun there is none
but fancy the stars
glittering so bright
and it is our
for we love the sun
but the stars are much more

the lonely heart fears for love
the loving heart loves for more
like it can never be satisfied
as the oceans mark
so much
but it wants much more
like when it over flows
its bounds
it wants much more i say
and i'll give ie more i pray

Second Thoughts

Falling in love with someone

You can never be with.

Hiding behind a filter photo

A smile, body gestures

As a poet, we feel

We see, we separate

Our words with emotion

So tired, so tired my heart (Elizabeth Browning)

Even the tone throughout our write

Any reader can pick up on it.

And sometime interpret them wrong

Endless love, a little gratitude, and

most important for my soul

Peace and happiness,

Do I trust myself enough?

to give myself to another

Falling in love with someone

You can never be with, whole Heartly,

Is a dangerous move, a slippery slopes demotion?

Once again do I trust myself enough to give away

To another person, because of a smile?

Should I say that I am fallen,

And I can’t get up?

A Spring Sonnet

Inside this garden spritely little gnomes
and little frogs of green that hop and roam
its heaven to my soul this heartly dome
its all that I most treasure, its my home
by summers open window I do plea
for breezling views enhanced its all I see
the butterflies of colorfast fly free
with flitting moths of white and filigree
a little rabbit scurries out to play
in la la land theres plenty, heh heh heh
lady bugs and caterpillar slidies
happy birds with chirp abilities
Inside this garden you and I together,
planting flowers, from now until forever.

There Was a Caterer

there was a caterer
hardly loved she was
flowers she harvested
and seeds of sorts too
stems of things as seeds
she picked and put in pans
to cook and satisfy her ego
soon famine built a nest
so special, so durable it was
humans, animals, plants
wept and cursed the life
as the land was devastated
to primitive life of agony
but the caterer laughed heartly

Romantic Thoughts Are For the Heartly Sound

Sweet goddess I feel like I'm being driven insane
By these thoughts that reside in my mind
They are soft and comforting, so beautiful and intimate
Yet unreachable, so far away
Am I unlovable?
Am I not to feel another women's hand in my own?
Why do none come forth when I call out
Why am I alone in this place while everyone has their lover
