Family

If good gods got a great heart Why do innocent kids get hurt If we are to live life with lots of laughter Why do orphans get families after their slaughter I try not to get emotional Its hard having nothing at all But If I were an orphan Tell me you would blow my pain Blow it bit by bit or in a burst like a bomb or like a super fan with a fan mum Like water is searched for by a lily All they want is a family A brother to pave the pitter-patter like peter pan A sweet sister seemingly sent from heaven A heavily heartly hearted father A mother like you; like no other If orphans had you Like a shepherd has an ewe Then a little brighter stars would twinkle And their lives have a little more sparkle So I thank God for the gift I have somewhere to go before Christmas and Easter eve And I hope they get a place they can finally; Even by second chance; call home, call family!
