She is slowly slipping away,
She sees no point laying waiting to decay,
Tired of the names shes starting to beleive,
The thought of leaving for good gives her relief,
Shell do anything just to get the slightest peace,
Were ever she goes shes used as a punching bag,
Shes sick of it wants it to go away wanting payback,
She tried to get away with drugs but theres no impact,
She wants to paint a red mural at school hoping it add some abstract,
Ptsd takes over she is done with the flashback,
Feeling desprate She plans it out on a scatch pad,
She cant stop the heat from rising she gets mad,
She doesnt care shes maping out her ending,
Shes tired of everyone disrespecting,
They pushed her to this shes done pretending,
Theres no more heart left for mendind,
Theres a assembally today she knows theyll all be attending,
This is her idea of defending,
This time theyll be the ones accepting,
There they all seated like targets,
She says this is what you started,
Most of you watched did nothing to help your all the culprit,
She steps on stage the whole crowd bursts into laughter,
She said get ready this is a disaster,
She pulls out a gun blows of rounds,
One by one the students fall to the ground,
Finally thetes no one left to make a sound,
Shes finally is set free she lets out a smile,
A happiness she hasnt felt in a while,
Shes on the news today shes the only survivor,
It all planned out they call her a fighter,
Gotta problem and nowhere to go.
Take a trip across the tracks and see old
Flo.
She's not pretty and the only thing small
about her is her feet.
But she's the best friend to every man she does meet.
If Mable aint able.
And your to drunk to get out from under
the table.
The hotel isnt a option when ya dont got
no money to blow.
Just knock three times and say hello to Flo.
Treat her good and treat her right.
And ya know Flo just might let ya
spend the night.
Just drink up and take two asprin for
your head.
Cause you know at Flo's theres only
one bed.
In the morning you best hit the road
befor it turns bright.
Cause with a big woman who hasnt eat
she just might bite.
And as you appear beaten your friends must surely ask what some
already know.
That your in for a ruff night when ya spend it
with Flo.
I found a picture of us
Tucked away in an old...dresser drawer
By the smiles on our faces, I’d guess
We both wanted more
Now to this day I say
I let you get away
And knowing that
Always gets me down
I can’t believe this old flame
Still hasn’t burned me down
There’s no smoke but there’s fire
A four alarm desire that don’t end...
Times has fanned the flame and it’s a shame
We’re still only friends
This internal inferno
Can’t be quenched but who’s to blame
I can’t believe this old flame
Hasn’t burned me down
If not for the wanting...I wonder
Would I keep hanging on...
We’re still living, so there’s a chance
To someday right this wrong
So as I sit and wonder
Wonder If we’ll ever have our day
Will the flame that we both carry
Be allowed to rage
I can’t believe this old flame
Still hasn’t burned me down....
It won’t stop until they lay me
6 feet in the ground
We can see by the pictures
They speak volumes... without sound
I can’t believe this old flame
Hasn’t burned me down
I can’t believe this old flame
Hasn’t burned me down
I'm down on the ground,
My brain starts to pound,
It may not be fun,
But ten seconds aren't done.
10 seconds remain.
I still have time,
To arise again,
The timer hasnt hit ten,
Time isn't my friend,
8 seconds remain.
I punch hard, I kick,
I choke, I feel sick.
I try to yell, over the incessant chants,
This is the last time, my last chance.
Five seconds remain.
I call out, my plight.
I never wanted this fight.
I press up with all my might,
I feel progress, my eyes are losing their light.
Three seconds remain.
It all hurts, to breathe,
Under my worst foe, I am beneath.
For it is no human, it's within me.
I need to get up, to be free.
But it isn't over, I can win,
I push against that evil twin,
The sadness loses hold, I can get up.
One second remains.
As i clinch my pillow, and of you i dream
My heart paces like a raging steam
Constant reminders of your gentle touch
Wondering if my love is too much.
Is this infactuation, or are my feelings true?
Do you love me as much as you say you do?
Visions of you and i invade my brain
Hoping our time together
Hasnt been spent in vain.
Will we be able to withstand all the jealously and hate?
Proving to others that what we have,
They cant take.
Holding onto memories as if they were a trinket
If your love was poison,
Would i drink it?
She is just a darling little girl,as precious as a lamb,
She rules our home in many ways that another can.
She's in and out, here and there throughout our busy day,
And many times I stop my work because she wants to play.
She often has a special hug, the sweetest baby kiss,
And when just she and I are there I rate this treasured bliss.
But when her Dad arrives at night, you'll find her in a whirl's
She hasnt time for Mother then, because she's Daddy girl
It's joy to see her laughing eyes, her baby smile,
Tis' then I know that all is well and life is worth the while,
So lovingly he'll pinch her nose or steal a curl
Just anything he does is right because she's Daddy's girl.
I often marvel at the charms that only Dad possess
Although I know within my heart she doesnt love me less.
We tuck her into bed at night, our one and only pearl
And cause I love her Daddy too,I am proud she is Daddy's girl.

Notes: With rights come responsibilities, although this is always a balance it seems we as a society are very concerned with out rights and much less with out responsibilities. I encourage anyone who truly cares to go and find a book called “Berlin Diary 1934-1941” and read it. First it’s a personal account of the times, and any book that covers humanity and day to day life for me carries a more humanistic weight to the story, however the main point is this. Hitler said and acted very much in the same way Donald Trump does today. That educated men stand behind Trump as well as many uneducated ones, is sad, they are more concerned with their own careers than doing the right thing. Of note, The Bushes seem to have long before it was popular, distance themselves from Trump.
Gazing into my bathroom mirror
My eyes looking back at me
Anguish and misery, all i see
Years just like groundhog day
Never seeing it any other way
Life is meant to be more than this
If only a genie, grant me a wish
We all experience pain this is true
Grant me the strength to see this through
Please is this never going to end
Save me from my misery
Luck sometimes comes your way
Giving you hope a brand new day
So I am now home and all is good
Settled sorted as much as one could
A quiet moment, inhaling it all in
Know that i am here and this is real
Knowing this day hasnt been a dream
Never to be taken for granted
Not once, where i have been
Now as i gaze into that mirror
I like what looks back at me
My eyes see a new chapter
Of endless possibilities
The sky has no limits
New space longtime seen
Reaching out unconsciously, not knowing where to embark upon,
This damned spirit is grasping, doesnt know what else to do,
With no vexed thoughts on whomever else may read or know,
My fingers press down with an anxious intent, focused and true,
No one else in this moment, these words are only meant for you.
Pain and misfortune is all my reflections allow me to view,
Guarded or misguided it seems I have traveled the earths crust,
For a first in my life there is the brightest of anticipations,
Fearful of its very outcome I stumble damn, ****, i can't get up,
Knowing what I want is so indisputably blatant, Its very much you.
That's obviously so easy to express, but wait why can't I let go,
Confused and consumed, my mind races for excuses and its ending,
Happiness forever graspless in my existance what am I to feel,
With little understanding of these chains that encircled my soul,
Our frienship to me is so unique, amazing yet nothing without you.
A liftime of emptiness forces my emotions and causes my hesitation,
Wasted time not a part of our experience if I can make it my own,
Decisions been made, letting go, I'm going to dive threw this fire,
Doesn't this seem crazy understanding that you're my true desire,
The way we meld just insane, said I made it easy, but only for you.
Now I've said my piece, there it is, there you have it, here you go,
This is all for naught if you've already made a different decision.
But if I'm right just do me a favor, turn to me and just say this,
"Its alright, I actually understand, I gave you your time, no worries here",
"It hasnt been easy for either of us and just know, I'm not going to quit!"

Sylvia loved her 2 bedroom apartment.
She finally found a decent place
Well besides the rodents
And the 4 flights she treks
That dim hallway
Smelling of mold
And tattered souls
Knock, Knock, Knock
She opens the steel door
Resembling a solitary prison cell entryway
INSPECTION TIME
4 men dressed in the finest business attire from kmart
They look at her like a charity case
Exchanging smirks and snarky comments
She is beneath them
Like the soles on their $40 faux leather shoes
She worked in sewing factories her whole life
Until her hands were no longer functional
She worked hard for her $700 ssd check
The men smirk again when they see her ebt card on the kitchen table
Their tax dollars pay for her extravagent lyfestyle
That 2 bedroom apartment on the 4th floor
Collecting bottles to feed herself at the end of the month
She hasnt had a decent cut of meat in years
Chicken legs and corned beef
White rice and spam
But those are their tax dollars being wasted
One man utters:
"We know hes been staying here"
"Que" she replies
"Your thug grandson with the felonies"
Shouts another
"Hes only been here for a week"
He was sleeping at the city mission
She was fullfilling her grandma duties
Family is everything to her
"But rules are rules Ms. Vasquez"
If hes not gone in 2 days she has to move
But move where?
She waited 37 months to get this apartment
Confused she begs the men to let him stay
"48 hours Ms Vasquez" The portly inspector yells as the steel door slams behind the men
Sylvia has a decision to make
How she longs for paradise and gets hell in return
A single tear rolls down her sharp cheeks
"Juan stop hiding they left already"
He can see the pain in her eyes
" Dont cry Abuela, ill be just fine,
Ill pack my stuff and be out in time"
time fails to stop
off the planet i may
drop.

this chick i met at the store one day trying to sell me a jar or raspberry jam.
She said i looked familar.I said she looked familiar to
Elementary school.Third grade.Mrs brown was are teacher.
This girl always sat alone during lunch and at reccess .
Never had i realized how pretty she was so i asked her out to lunch.
When she said yes then trouble started spewing.
She hasnt stopped cutting her meat and shes putting splenda in her sprite drink.
When she speaks shes telling me all the names of her exs in alphabetical order and how it was always them and never her.I seriously doubt this ecspecially when she askes if id like to have a threesome with her sister.
I dont know how this psycho chick got me on date two.Shes pretty and all but thats all shes got too.
Sex is ackward. She insist her dog be in the room. She laughs hysterically the whole time and sleeps through the rest.
On date three i let her go gently. She said shed never forgive me and that i was by far the worst ex she ever had.I thought thank goodness for that.
On friday she called me and said all was forgiven.I asked her how she got my number?she said your mother gave it to me.By the way her name is smidgen isnt it.
I told her it was over.My temper started rising.
she said she didnt mind as her fifth ex was taking her back.I said good luck with that.
Never saw her again but that psycho chick still talks to my mother who says i should have proposed.I tell my mom if only you knew what that psycho chick put me through.
The best thing you can do about a suicide is understanding it.
The boy opens the door and walks by his mom
his mom says "how was school"
He doesnt respond
he walks silently to his room
His mom turns away in sadness
"its dinner time Ory" she yells up the stairs.
He walks slowly down the steps
Hiding something in his hand as he puts it in his pocket
His mother is setting the table
Putting meat on his plate
He sits down unto the seat
not touching his food
"is there something wrong with it?" his mom asks
He doesnt look at her
"talk to me. why have you been ignoring me" she repeats.
He gets up off the chair and walks outside
Walking into the woods as his mom runs out
"get back here where are you going"
Every living thing dies alone." he writes in white on a tree in there back yard
He throws the rope over the toughest branch
He steps up unto a little chair
Tying the rope around his neck
The chair falls
His mom worries in panic
She cant find him anywhere
She waits up all night
The Next Morning"
She walks out to the garden
Looking up at a tree
She sees the fallen chair from behind a tall bush
She runs
Picking up the chair
Seeing the thing she never thought would have happened
She falls to her knees
A tear falls from her cheek
Not understanding
Reading the words on the tree
Every living thing dies alone"
She wonders
Thinking
Crying
She untangles him from the tree and holds him
Talks gentle to him
Something she hasnt done in a while
Now grasping the meaning behind what he has done
The best thing you can do about a suicide is understanding the meaning behind it.
i was overjoyed
i was eager to travel
wishing everybody a good stay,
i quickly packed my suitcase
and was ready to twist life
little did i know,
joy would turn into sadness
happiness into tears
desires into loneliness
but what do i see?
i choose that path
it wasnt easy
neither is it easy
but above all i thank God
He has been my keeper
my strength and guide
i dnt regret going abroad
the journey hasnt been easy
A man of words he was, and words he was alone
For actions never followed, the words he so condoned
And though spoken with eloquence, grandeur, and ample grace
His words seemed not matter when the matter came to face
He spoke of plans to travel, hitchhike highways and sail the seas
Alas his trips were always delayed, claimed he'd catch the next breeze
He spoke of flying and diving, and how he'd tamed ferocious beasts
But for all his words and phrases, he didn't know west from east
A man of words he was, and words he was alone
His words hold no true value, and as he talks we groan
He claims to have a fortune, but he hasnt spent it yet
For he can't make up his mind, which lavishments to get
He owns houses all over the states, mansions and farms too
But when asked to prove his fortune, he won't show anything to you
His words are just that, spoken sounds, letters and vowels
Spewed forth from somewhere within, his compulsively lying bowels
He was a man of words, but a man of words he is no more
For someone figured out the truth, and dropped him overboard offshore
