Premium Member Something Strange Is Happening In Dc

This morning I am glued to my TV,
for something has happened in DC!
I’m scratching my head.
Am I dreaming still in bed?
They are PRAISING the President on NBC!

I turn to CNN. It's all the same again!
From ear to ear Don Lemon wears a grin,
“...the President’s magnanimous...
a genius without animus...
In the next election he’s sure to win!"

                  WHAT?

Surely MSNBC will say something keen.
“The first lady should grace a magazine,”
says Chris Matthews all atingle,
“did you know she’s bilingual?”
The unobjective fawning is obscene!

Schumer and Pelosi toasting with champagne,
are heading Trump's re-election campaign!
The POTUS’s tweets
called, "poetry--like Keats"…
Has the planet gone completely insane?

At FOX News everyone is crying.
They’re shaking their fists and Oh-why-ing.
Hannity’s guzzling booze,
While Tucker sings the blues.
I wonder if pigs have started flying!

Something very strange has happened in DC!
And I am still glued to my TV,
uncertain if I woke
or if it’s all a joke…
The President simply switched from “R” to “D”!

Premium Member It's Happening Again

It's happening again..

Drops of mercy descending
from heaven's shadows,
hydrating breathless sighs.

Against my will,
each splash resuscitates,
my recovering wounds.

Words unspoken, remain,
veiled within the vaults of my heart.
Desperately, I seek the cure.

But, all I can do is stand still,
observing in silence,
soaking in regret.

Blood dilutes with the rain,
and I wonder,
if this will be the last tear.

Rip down the statues
Rename the streets
Police the language
Label it hate speech

Burn down the cities
In peaceful protest
Justice is racist
Thus, civil unrest

No longer about
Seats on the bus
A bus itself
Is labeled unjust

Envy a sin
Yet the very basis
Of a pernicious movement
Mislabeled social justice

True justice is blind
Social justice sees
Skin tone blamed
For all disparity

Media propogandist
Mix up the facts
Left is right
Right is wrong

Gaslighting Americans
With their fake news
Giving demonic takes
Editing out truth

Hate your enemy
Get up in their face
Resist reality
Let ideology replace

Tragedy in the schools
Fools blame it on tools
Deceived bunch of souls
Who forget man reaps what he sows

How it all ends
Is known in advance
Simply have faith
Knowing it doesn’t happen by chance

Premium Member A Senendipity Happening

I left my little bucolic home to spend a day in town,
A few hours of mere dalliance and shopping for a gown.

A mansion with demesne and a sale sign, caught my eye.
Such epiphany of grandeur I was unable to pass by.

I had ephemeral time to use, I would indulge my senses
With efflorescence from the gardens, always hidden by the fences.

The harbingers of Spring were there, the red robin and his cousins.
In propinquity they gathered and they numbered by the dozens.

The fresh air was redolent with the special scents of May
And the petrichor resulting from a sudden rain that day.

Erstwhile my man was waiting, and I knew free time was flying.
That serendipity happening had kept me from my dress buying.

What's Happening To Our Children?

Look into their hollowed eyes
and tell me you don't care.
There are so many hurting
and it's more than I can bear.

What happens to our young
that makes them crave the pain?
How could they feel so helpless
that it drives them near insane?

So many young are cutters.
They have a thirst for tears.
Where are all their parents
while they're out facing their fears?

How can we save these children?
It kills me when I know
that underneath they're dying
yet the scars they don't let show.

If I could give them strength
and help them see the way...
I'd trade them my tomorrows
if that gained them one more day.

Its Happening Everywhere

she had enough curiosity to kill a thousand cats but not about sex

she awoke to him on top of her AGAIN then a quick blow to the head

she had been stricken temporarily dumb

suddenly she had a sharp penetrating eruption of rage and hatred and alien that belonged in
as science fiction movie

on a deep instincual level he knew what was coming next

his conscious mind could not-or would not-put a name on it but his subconscious knew what
it was

he fled out the door in a blind-panic as wide-eyed and spooked as a dumb animal reacting to
headlights

she had a moment of vulnerability as the door swung shut behind him

her exquistely shaped and hormoniously related features bespoke sensitivity and refinement
opposite of a parody of seduction

she felt like she was attacked by a pack of rats

was she able to go after her attacker this time the fifth time the last time she knew who he
was and where he lived

she quietly moved around his bed as he drooled and dreamed and put the knife to his throat
then slapped him in the face

he began pleading and apologyzing squrrying and ceaselessly crying in what almost sounded
like a guttural foreign language

finally she made her point and left him to drown in his guilt but as soon as she closed the
door she heard a "BANG"

he took his own life he ended their pain all she could do was scream"NO DAD!"

TO MANY CHILDREN ARE ABUSED BY RELATIVES AND WE IGNORE THE SIGNS
THESE ARE THE ONES WE LOVE WE MUST OPEN OUR EYES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lift
     your head
just
there,
be assured
only
a few steps
            more,
you
can..
       make it,
you
know
       it's
         possible..

     all around
contentment
    grows

quiet

ideas
float

..float..

the toaster and oven beep at me

Happening and Doing - Unity In Diversity

Resurrection Day Blessings:

I
Two as One, Many into One
Wisdom speaks of Dreamer and Dreamed
When Dreamer “sleeps” it is then IT happens
Jesus speaks of His Love for the Redeemed
As God and He are One, He dreams that for His disciples

II
Coming out of dream, back on earthy ground
My Beloved and I are one, ofttimes
We have wills of our own, individual drives
That redshifts the starlight, sometimes
Space is warp and time is the woof
I dream of Beloved and I as THE fabric, spacetime!

III
The Gravity of the dream is from she and he, to Universality
Could we become a rock with mass, Einstein’s MASSive energy?
D E N S I T Y
To warp the fabric of spacetime toward a Black Hole
In the universe, while seeking THAT universality?
Tat Tvam Asi, says the Sanskrit of Hindu philosophy
One, dreamed as many by the Master-Dreamer
Who will awake first: the DOING or the Happening?
In the metaphor, I am exhausted witness, surrendered yet doing!
