God is my great help:

Assuring my soul
Building my life
Cheering my heart
Directing my feet
Empowering my will
Fortifying my faith
Gladdening my spirit
Hoisting my well-being
Illumining my mind
Jubilating my service

I glanced at him on his knees
donning tears and a robe
wiping bullet and blood off the streets.

He slowly made his way toward
the broken business zone.
A worn carpenter's belt in tow
a soft light was around him
as the crowd began to grow.

He helped the last hatter board up his store.
A nail between his teeth
as broken glass and bottle caps
played taps to a windy city beat.
He then placed a few signs in the ground
that said vote for candidate faith
and said-believe in the divine.

His time was soon up
it was time for him to go
once again, he was called back to
his father's gilded abode.
As he left he turned around and simply said
love one another... greatly.

Greatly Missed

A Fathers touch, A Daddy's kiss,
A grieving Daughter, You're greatly missed.

An empty house, An empty chair,
A fathers love, No longer there.

A broken heart, Tear filled eye,
Another soul to fill the sky.

Many memories in my mind,
Some I laugh, Some I cry.

The times we shared, The laughs we had,
Things I miss when I think of you Dad.

Realizing that's all I have to hold on too,
Only memories, Of what once was you.

Missing your laugh, I will never again hear.
That is the reality that fills me with so much fear.

No more smile on your face,
No more warmth of your embrace.

The last hug, The last kiss,
The last "goodbye" leaves me with one last wish...

To have you Dad, here today,
Never to leave your Daughter this way.

A Father's touch, A Daddy's kiss,
A grieving Daughter, YOU'RE GREATLY MISSED!

Been neglecting my limericks lately
Must correct that error quite straightly
This is one
Still lotsa fun
Took hours to create but enjoyed it greatly

Admiring Greatly

At the verge of this our day break,
permit me pour this few words from my cup;

For these are not the lyrics of a song,
but the voice of my soul,
the cry of my life;

You possessed my air of indifference,
appearing quite debonair,
making me fall without sliding to the sabotage of your indifference;

With your unique kind of joyful smile,
you engulf me,
filling my yesterdays with your love,
creating a light I don’t understand,
demanding my fingers on your soft ivory skin;

Such awareness to these emotions,
untouched and raw becomes more expose than my flesh,
and my heart at your feet teetering on the brink;

Falling is inevitable,
but in whose arms is the question my heart holds,
wondering why it has not been declared,
for the answer lies within you my love,
as I truly and madly fall deeply into you.

Premium Member God Greatly Good

God guides greatly
Governs gaze gently
Gears Gospel-gain gloriously…

God’s goodness
Generates giving graciousness
Gathering golden grain-grandness…

Guarding getting, gluttonous
Garrisoning greed-guilt, grievous
God girds grounded going, gorgeous…

Generously granting
Garnished growth gravitating
God goads grateful gladness-greeting…

God’s glamor glitters
Glows, glistens, glisters
Glorifying godliness-glinters.

I Greatly Fear I'Ll Lose My Hair

CXLIII

I greatly fear that I shall lose my hair
That happens at an age seems only fair
And yet this heart of mine could not prepare
The thought they'll disappear gives quite a scare

I wish they would just turn to white or grey
Or else be in a mindless disarray
I'd rather spend too much on barber's pay
Than wear some silly hat or gay toupee

For I had mocked with cruel terms did call
In summer when my childish brain was small
May winter come without an autumn's fall
And not awake an angry she bear's maul

It matters not my hope might vanish soon
At least we'll see a lovely, bright new moon

America Has Greatly Sinned Against God

America has sinned against God! And isn’t ashamed!
As she tries to remove him and curse his name!

As many Americans indulge in sexual filth of various kinds.
They’re receiving confused and reprobate minds.

The utter filth and wickedness this county often indulges in…
Is bringing much heartache and bondage within!

The God who can help and save us, is often knocked down.
Any sense of morals or conviction is seldom to be found!

What was once considered holy or sacred is no more.
As this country prostitutes itself with a whore!

“This is crazy and silly.” Is often people’s statement…
While this country’s sin against God is ever so blatant!

Be warned! God won’t be putting up with this much longer!
As much of America tries to quench
their immoral hunger!

It’s time to repent of all sin! And come to Christ in humbleness!
It’s time for America to seek his ways and righteousness!

It’s only in Christ, that America can be satisfied and fulfilled!
He needs to change so many lives! To forgive and rebuild!

Now’s the time to cry out to God and seek his forgiveness!
Let’s give him our life… And let him take care of business!

Please come Lord Jesus! America needs your salvation!
Please come! And bring healing
to this broken nation!

Greatly Divided

Greatly Divided

I, although unseen at times always give thanks to you all. Especially for allowing me to share my growth in the precious form of poetry.

My prayer is that my words and works I leave behind do build and mend for a better tomorrow.

To orchestrate change, it must be envisioned, and that's where the magic begins.
A shifting from Matrix style living, to one of shared Peace and Understanding.

We're Different, but don't have to remain divided. Let us not allow for tragedy and suffering to be the only way to build bridges.
The Humanitarian is one who sees, and seeks atonement from the paradigms that plague mankind's state.

It's a daring Hope with The Audacity to be the Change we See on a micro and macro level. Potential turned into Kenetic Energy creating and craving "The Positive Ripples Effects".

Balance the Scales of Justice, Socially, Economically, Spiritually, and Physically.
It is not time to lay down, and sigh or die
unfullfilled. Be the Very Hand of God
not in Rhetoric or from Pulpits, but on the ground running towards Freedom.

This is the calling by which I have been commissioned, and my charge to keep. Fade we must from the physical plain and return to The Source.
What we do here on out in Love will determine the journey ahead. Look into veil with compassion and discuss in Love a better Union.

Are we not all Children of the Universe with a burning passion?? Help each other on the Road to Demascus, so all may see the dark and light.

The Peace has been Passed
"It is Finished", and all may eat Gracefully
Upon the Power of The Words Of
Poetry and Pros in Motion
The Seas have been Split...

Selah Amen.......

Live Greatly Daily

The sun stays the same but why should I?
Are there not days in which I rejoice & yet others in which I cry?
I may look the same now, but the wrinkles will come,
Some days seem routine, but only some.
A small moment can alter one day in big ways,
So, no I will not limit myself, not tomorrow, not today.
Each breath I take, and time I arise,
I may choose to improve or forgive, say hello to a new friend or to an old, say good-bye.
I could choose to live each day near the same -
Consuming the same meal, playing the same game,
But I choose variety and newness, to maintain my purposes and stay fresh,
Gaining clarity and growing, though I will live in this body - this flesh.
My mind and goals will change, as will my emotions,
& I will live greatly daily - what a great notion.

Our Presence Will Greatly Attest

As the years and times will change this bustling city,
once almost invisible from Heaven itself,
we'll remember it as it took on the face of death:
giving each other comfort and asking why
would anyone hate so much this nation...
to demolish what took years to build with devotion!

Our presence will greatly attest,
and send a message so strong and sound
that their ears will not miss;
angels still fly over that sacred place,
and watch it with their smiling faces...
to please God with all their will,
because they know too well
that our sorrows can't be measured!

As the seasons and the days slip away,
only that memory remains timeless:
faint voiced of family and friends
wailing in the thick smoke and burning flames,
and as helpless as they are, where they pray,
they think of us as their Guardian Angels!

Our presence will greatly attest,
but nobody can ever sway us from our achievement:
a tragedy such as this, will not be repeated...
we lost too much to be intimidated!

Daring Greatly

Dedicated to my counsellor, Ann Gunapalan

I was once a little girl in the closet
My shame, I wanted to conceal and forget
I’ve come a long way and I thank God for you
For wholehearted empathy that rings true

Thank you for coaching me in the arena
For helping me face my wounds and trauma
For helping me embrace vulnerability
For showing me what it means to dare greatly

I see vulnerability at the cross
When Christ chose to embrace shame for the lost
He’s taken our guilt and shame; we are now free
Free to love with wholehearted empathy

I was once a little girl in the closet
My shame, I wanted to conceal and forget
I’m still a little girl, but now without shame
For in Jesus Christ, I have a new name

We'Re Greatly Influenced By Society

We’re Greatly Influenced By Our Society

We’re greatly influenced by our society.
Our culture comes in many types of “varieties.”

Often, there is a wicked and sinful force..
As people forget God, and look to another “source.”

Too often, many in society have “confused” minds.
Evil and perversion come in many different kinds

We often read in the news just about every day.
Something that another “confused”
 mind has to say.

“Where did this person go wrong?” Is wondered.
Another family or person is “torn and plundered.”

“If my people humble themselves,
 and repent of their ways.”
“I will heal their land!” This is what God says!

Without God as the focus
 of our life’s attention.
We’re sure to go “off course.”
 Into the wrong direction.

“There is a way that seems right.” “But the end is death.”
This is a truth of God’s word…
 Until your last breath!

Jesus is the answer to any kind of difficult situation.
We desperately need him all across our nation!

Only he brings the love and fulfillment
 we need to obtain.
We can find everything we need
 in HIS precious name!
