Best Good Spirit Poems
Be it a moment you witnessed a tiny creature
popping off a cocoon matured
Or that moment you drenched in rays moon
and cooked up the mystical tunes
Be it the moment that you sailed
For the very first time
Or the moment you received a mail
from your company dream
Be it the moment you embraced your first trophy
Or the moment you boarded your first flight
The moment you trapped inside a lift at midnight
Or the moment you encountered a good spirit
Glorious moments were these
Converted into precious memories
Which can never be forgotten
As they will be breathing with us forever
According like the generous river
To make our life worth living ever

Love,
I hope this letter finds you well and in good spirit. By this time I hope the pain of my departure has eased and you are getting on with life. I know I left you unexpectedly but it was God's will. Needless to say I miss you and the children deeply and my heart is breaking.
I hope these words give you solace and it is in my heart to thank you for the many years of love, care and sacrifice during our marriage. You made our lives better. You gave us life and I was blessed to be your husband.
I hope you know you were the stronger, better person in our marriage. You were our family's strength, wisdom, love and our guiding light. Your love held us together. Your light always shined brightly and held us in its warmth.
I hope you know if I had any regrets it is that I was not always there for you and at times let you down. I am truly sorry for that. You were the best thing that ever happened to me.
I hope you know that I am glad that I went on ahead before you because I could have not lived in this world without you.
I hope through God's mercy, that when your time is finished on Earth, that you will join me in Heaven where the love in your star will guide us all forever.
See you then
With all my love
Forever

She didn’t know any better
Was the excuse of the day
And 16 is hard enough
Without sibling children in the way
“I didn’t birth these urchins,”
She screamed for no one to hear
But mom and dad were out the door
In good spirit, full of cheer
Selfish 16 year-olds rarely do as told
And such was true that day
She took the money they paid her
And she was on her way
The girl across the pond would do
So she handed her a twenty
“I’ll be back before they’re home,”
For a good time, she had plenty
And in that smoke filled barn
With laughter, booze and boys
16 year old had few cares in the world
Except for that tell-tale noise
She tried to drown it out
But she knew that she was wrong
And it didn’t matter even a bit
When they played her favorite song
For the noise in her head grew louder
It tugged it shouted it pulled
She knew she had to get home, quick
Her mother could not be fooled
She steadied her hands on the wheel
To relieve the stranger sitter
But the gravel pulled the car from her
And that’s when it hit her
Broken glass around an old oak
Sirens blaring from afar
That one poor choice cost her family
More than just a car
And In the passing days
Hushed whispers full of half truths
Sobbing, crying, asking why?
16 drunk on 90 proof
They say she was babysitting
Left the kids all alone
But she’s not here to tell her side
She resides beneath granite stone
I hope this poem finds you well and in good spirit. You are in my heart tonight as I write, thinking of you. I hope this poem settles in your soul and you feel my love for you. These are mere words but they have the power to warm a cold night, a lonely bed and fill an empty heart.
Since you came into my world you have changed me and given meaning to my life. I hope this poem speaks of my deep love for you and tells you just how much I need you. I write this poem to tell others how much I love you. And maybe, long after we are gone they will love you too.
A round I'll write on a turtles shell
in hyperbole you'll be borne
on each carapace a story's traced
of when the world was first born.
How Sky Woman fell from blackest night
through a hole Great Spirit made
she glowed with light and greatly excited
the sea creatures were afraid.
They dove to the bottom of the sea
and waited to see her drift down;
a story's traced on each carapace
of how Sky Woman found ground.
The beaver, the loon and the muskrat
dove beneath the endless sea;
and greatly excited she glowed with light
as they brought the earth to be.
From the bottom of the sea muskrat's
brave form rose, earth in his claw;
on each carapace a story's traced
of the land the Great Turtle bore.
An island formed on the turtles back
a place for Sky Woman, land!
She glowed with light and greatly excited
as swans brought her down to stand.
Two children were born to Sky Women
one bad and one good, her sons;
a story's traced on each carapace
of her death by the bad one.
The Good Son took his mothers body
from her limbs stars and moon spun;
and greatly excited she glowed with light
as from her head, he made sun.
To this day the Good Spirit guides
the souls of good men at death;
on each carapace a story's traced
of good and bad, her behest.
An attempt at ZaniLa Rhyme don't copy it isn't correct ;). Phew hard!

'Six slices a day is the well balanced way'
the boffins back then told us all,
but now I'm not impressed, they say 'wholemeal is best,
and more healthy' their clarion call.
For a good spirit lifter, an evening snifter
was, we were told, good for the heart,
now they say fourteen units (down from twenty-one)
in a week keeps you safe, if you're smart.
'Drinka pinta milka day' the adverts said,
it's good for the teeth and the bones,
now 'half fat, low dairy' the choices are scary
I may well just leave them alone.
Our family had chips cooked in gallons of lard,
spread dripping and salt on our toast,
bacon ate with the rind, and no scraps left behind
gravy made with the juice from the roast.
We ate this sinful food with no qualms or remorse
and left the table feeling full,
those boffins may be right but I think, with hindsight
that their lives must be terribly dull.
A good spirit in him abides
From birth his dispostion same
Nice, gentle character inside
A spirit born with love aflame
A spirit born with love aflame
Others born without good character
Only through rebirth good proclaim
Become great traits inheritor
Become great traits inheritor
Spread an awesome Spirit of love
Expand pure like honey's nector

I'm cute , I'm funny ,
as sweet as a bunny ,
as pretty as pink ,
and I love my mummy .
Helpful and friendly ,
I am with everybody ,
delicate and sensitive ,
I'm mummy's little baby ...( I'm quiet grown up !)
Lovely brownish-black eyes ,
like a cloud of milk in coffee ,
in which the beauty of a good spirit lies ,
sweet and spicy as toffee ...
Black shiny hair ,
which I handle with care ,
red lips , irresistible eyes ,
in which the beauty of a good spirit lies.....
’Twas dark of night when the boat came
And tied up at the quay
Where desperate families were waiting
To cross the stretch of sea.
The men who sailed the simple craft
Were all in good spirit.
They helped passengers climb aboard
And showed them where to sit.
The boat was low in the water
But the crew reassured.
The sea would stay calm through the night
So nothing need be feared.
They cast off, the engine chugged.
From home shores they were clear.
An hour on, in dead of night,
They all began to fear.
The full moon cast its silver shine
Providing light enough
To show the ripple build to waves;
The sea was turning rough.
The boat was rolling side to side.
Soon the swell was spilling.
Passengers began to panic
As they started sinking.
Captain and crew had life jackets
And made it to the shore.
But those abandoned families
Were gone for evermore.

We got the call this morning...
your soul checked out
you left this
world in flight...
a good man of kind spirit
you surrendered the last
battle -
We salute you you gave
a fine fight...
little did we know just
how sick you were...
...but then that is the mark
of a battler not to surrender
and not to show no fear...
...You walked tall into the darkest
shadow...a good spirit will
champion his own path...
...We all hold you dear in
our hearts...for we spoke
fondly of you unbeknown
from this world you did part...
...a worker all your life...
right up to sixty-five...
...then just twelve weeks
into retirement...your body
up and dies...
...you retired to the skies...
...your soul had other plans
...to be at peace instead...
...this life had made it's
final demand...
a man of great
principle...all who new
you...Alex...you earned their respect...
...Dude who knew you had
cancer...this came as quite
a shock...
...all we can say is...what a rip off!!!
...for you it all started back
in 1942...you bit the bullet in 2007...
and off to heaven with you?
you are right old dude...
for many of us "the system
doesn't work"!...
...it only prepares us...
for something greater...(maybe)?
certainly not found here on this earth...
We can just see you now...
tucking into your
sardine sandwiches...
...tinkering round with some
hot rod...chev V8...or taking snaps
of your great travel escapades...
...we won't forget you Alex...
for this you can be sure...
time it goes too fast...
...in our memories you
will last...
...and I bet we've all taken
stock...for when your number is up
it's up...but sometimes old dude
life for some is such
a bloody crock...
I guess there are those that'll
say...life is what we make of it
of life we make at will...
...but there are those that
believe that life itself for
many can be very cruel...
Escape somewhere
on sandy shores
catch the sunrise
filling the hearts inside
let the poetic drums dance
and embrace the feel good spirit
of a beautiful sandy shore
Neverland was a childhood dream,
never to grow up was the marketed theme.
Carousel rides, cotton candy and video games,
swimming pools with slides and a private train.
A seductive fantasy for the world's innocent.
An enchanted kingdom for every "Lost Boy" participant.
Tempted by the promise of a giant supernova.
A God, an Icon, a plastic Jehovah.
He is a king, a majestic Peter Pan,
dominating the charts, dominating the land.
A beloved caregiver, a charitable mentor.
He gives until he can give no more
A good spirit he did have,
but remember every good does have bad.
Never forget the Yin and the Yang,
The dark is always waiting to be untamed.
Nothing can be completely good or completely bad you see?
it is how it is balanced that makes it favorably.
His money and power tipped this scale,
this is how it happened, this is how he fell.
So, let's Dig a little deeper and we will find,
a disease that has been plaguing his restless mind.
A virus that was implanted by his stolen childhood,
laid dormant inside but now is understood.
It takes over him, it has complete control,
no one to tell him to stop, no one to tell him no.
He released all his demons and they finally win.
Free to do to others what was done to him.
Robbed of his adolescence and wanting it back.
Desperate and cunning he planned his attack.
An architecture marvel, magnificent and ambitious.
A magnet for children, sophisticated and malicious.
Crowning it Neverland, the lure for his revenge.
No one could cease or apprehend him.
Using it to steal the children's purity
becoming a bandit that held no warranty.
Neverland is not never after all,
It will be Forever for the victims that were involved.
He made it a new Nightmare,
for all that took the bait.
They grew up confused and haunted,
consumed with grief and hate.
A true friend is there through thick and thin until the end of time
It's okay to disappear out of sight but not out of mind
I never asked for any money or a place to stay
All I wanted is someone to confide in and for our kids to play
People are really a trip or a vacation
I wish when you all came into my life my good spirit was vacant
