Cesarean birth

a newborn hugs his mom's face -

his cheek pressed to hers. . .

pulled away from her, he screams

some bonds cannot be broken

...She is a ten year old girl.
Her mother?...
...A fine example
for her daughter.

...He is a father a husband.
He was a soldier...
...sent in harms way.
They are a family proud....

...What happened
is everyone's nightmare....

...This brave man
was badly wounded...
while defending his country....

...He survived,
the worse...
a head injury.

Did he give up...
...lie in a bed,
expect to be spoon fed?

No one would of blamed him...
...certainly not me.
He did not give up!

...The heavy fog that now
lays inside his brain...
...is just another battle.

He wins....
...Was he the hero?
Yes most definitely.

Ah but his daughter,
...ten years of wisdom
says this...
"When my daddy walks
he uses my shoulders."

...Her father,
the soldier...head shaven
walks using his daughter young...
...in front of him, to walk
to where he needs to go.

Ah but his daughter...
...ten years of wisdom
says this...
"I love my daddy
he is my hero!"

I see more than
one hero, that young girl
just oozing with love,
that little girl is my hero!

Still in my heart
I hear
"i love my daddy
he is my hero!"

I just want to hug her.
At ten years young
she is a soldiers rock!

The sun rose this morning
Hip-Hip-Hooray!
Things are going our way

Frost and drought
Did not destroy crops
There’s food for the world – Lick your chops

A truce finally came in the Mideast
Soldiers are coming home
No more to war will they roam

Cures have been found for Ebola and cancer
All who were ill are now well
We’ll never again hear the death knell

Washington D.C. is rejoicing
A new president won election
The economy is headed in a better direction

All who want jobs are now working
Teachers, nurses, street cleaners too
Accolades abound for this major breakthrough

Harmony prevails throughout the world
All religions and cultures have united as one
No one need carry a gun

Environmental protection efforts are working
Let’s rejoice with a sip of wine
Prayers have been answered by a Creator divine

Good News

Every day I get up and pray,
Lord... please...
some good news for a change.
Something worth saying to my family,
to my friends,
something worth sharing,
that is lovely.

The TV talks empty words,
concerning people in high power,
that bask in the hour,
of their fame,
at the cost of their soul...
It is a great game.

The truth is full proof,
and written in the word,
that can not be stirred,
by hysteria.

The real Good news is you, Lord King.
That is my news.
That is the information I place great faith in.
It is the tipping point,
between...
their evil and their efforts,
against what is and what will be.

They will lose and they know it.
It makes them ever more dangerous.
The days are numbered,
and counting slowly down,
to the point,
the riders will be seen
by all.

No one will be able to look away.
Yet, for today...
Please...
Lord... Please,
we long for your ease,
to save us from the lies
of the spies
of evil.

On Spreading the Good News

Make good news known to all,
Have them heard the gospel;
Evangelize them seventh of May,
Convert them through the Father's will.
Aim to spread the good news,
Even though men are busy;
Let them fully understand,
Let them listen to the
Almighty.

Duty to snatch men from fire
Is divine to faithfully use;
Zealously fulfill the fervor
On spreading the good
News.

Premium Member I Have Good News, Mom

With all the bad- I got good news,
for five months I have had the blues;
all my thoughts tangled up with muse,
to despair I said-  I refuse;
just worked on hobbies to amuse.

My mind went to awful places,
I prayed to God for his grace's;
friends gave me blooms and embraces,
I wept at roses in vases.

Waiting was endless and scary,
I became quite solitary;
my home a safe sanctuary.

I did a lot of soul searching;
there was a lot of soul aching.

then the phone call came - no cancer

I am thinking about tattoos,
of butterfly wings and faces;
visited the cemetery,
told my mom the good news shaking;
whispering- mom, got the answer.

Dead
Buried
Rose again...
So triumphant
Forever reigning...
God incarnate was babe
Serving well as the Saviour
Offered self, perfect sacrifice...
Granting mankind everlasting life*
Vanquishing death by His love I now share.

*John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

October 28 Good News In History

OCTOBER 28 GOOD NEWS IN HISTORY!

I picked me a date.
I chose any date.
Reason is that any day is a good news day.
I created my timeline to illustrate.
I invested wisdom within the knowledge gave.
This should make someone smile and shout hoop hoop hooray.
Therefore, here’s some good news today.

A positive maximum is taken on October 28, 1962.
Cuban missile crisis ended through diplomatic pressure.
The President of the U.S.A., which was JFK, demanded dismantling of U.S.S.R nuclear weapons.

Looking further into the pass views a liberated stance.
On October 28, 1886, The Statue of Liberty was given to U.S.A. as a gift from France.

The Good News Papers have arrived.
We want to embrace positivity into our lives.
We tired of writing about criminal minds.
Therefore, we took a brief trip back in time.

Good News - Bad News

His Doc stated "You got a problem my friend",

when his examination was through!

"But, there again, the news isn't all bad!

We're naming this disease, after you"!

The Good News of Jesus Christ

The Good News of Jesus Christ!

What kind of news do you live by today?
Is it based on God's word?
Or what others say?

Jesus died, then arose from
 the grave three days later.
He’s the Son of God...
There are none greater!

He can break the bondages
and set the captive free!
Your sins for his life,
were purchased on Calvary!

The good news of Jesus Christ is being
preached to every nation!
There’s no other name where
 one can find salvation

His blood cleanses and washes
away sin's dark stain.
There's healing and power
in his mighty name!

Let all the people shout;
"Jesus is the only way!"
And listen to the words
 our savior has to say.

Whosoever will... Let him come
 to Jesus now.
Bring to him your every
burden and humbly bow...

Allow him to fill your life with his love...
ever so sweet.
He will bless your life from
your head to your feet!

This gospel is the GOOD NEWS
that only Jesus can bring.
For he is our LORD, RIGHTEOUSNESS
and EVERYTHING !

Good News: Basketball Season May Be Cancelled

Good News—Basketball Season May Be Cancelled

By Elton Camp

Of outrageously overpaid, whiny jocks I don’t care
For fifty years I haven’t watched a game anywhere

When in college, some of our team’s players I knew
Mention a present basketball star & I respond, “Who?”

I don’t know the details of what the big fuss is about
But that it’s about big time money I’ve got no doubt

Professional sports is filled with extravagant greed
Really, how much can players and owners need?

With millions working hard for just minimum wage
Obscene millions spent on sports puts me into a rage

So let them cut their season short of not do it at all
I don’t care if I never see another game of basketball

In fact, here’s what I think it’d be best if they will do
Get in a fight and close down football & baseball too

My best guess is that this won’t ever take place
But I’m keeping my fingers crossed just in case

The Feast of Tabernacles - God's Faithfulness and the Good News

10/13/12
-----------------------------------------
God’s Faithfulness

Faithfulness is everything to God
He promises those that are faithful to Him
And His laws—eternal life and happiness

When God commanded Hosea to marry a prostitute,
He was teaching Hosea the process of restoration
Hosea was to be committed to this woman
Despite her many wrongs and sinful practices
God’s ultimate faithfulness is about fortitude and commitment
And through repentance—restoration
Acknowledging our sins, and enduring others' sins
For God promises to rescue those who repent
To possess God’s faith we must practice faith
Bearing each others' burdens as Hosea endured his wife’s

For all of our fortitude is for a purpose
To serve each other forever
In our eternal lives in the Kingdom of God

*inspired by Steve Orchard*

The Good News

For centuries and more,
Many have turned to leaders of this world
Instead of relying on God
In these days of troubles, warfare and suffering
God wants us to envision a government run by him
Human-led governments will transform into a righteous régime
Those who have inspired rebellion against God
Will die away, disposed from the light
Not only human leaders will witness the uprightness
Satan and his demons in awe will be bound
Giving Christ time to produce good and peace
To those who consistently followed His way of life

God is working out his purpose
And many of us will not like it or see His works
And as false prophets amaze the public,
God will ultimately heal the public

One day most everyone will be willing to listen
And the world will be restored to a fruitful condition
Where good news of peace and comfort
Will merely be a reality

*inspired by John Anderson*

Good News

Good Evening, the BBC presents
The highlights from the days events

I pass you now to Sally Hughes
Who brings you all the evening news

Today in Paris, bomb explode, did
With paralise, electric grid
The Gendarme closed major routes
While soldiers search with guns to shoot
Fears eighty people may be slained
More than a score, badly maimed
The Euro falls against the pound
A wildcat strike on underground
Bringeth commute upon a stop
Catching travellers on the hop
The murderer that roamed the land
Has now been caught, we understand
Finally on a lighter note
A chimpanzee befriends a goat
They never leave each others side
The owner said with bursting pride

Now my colleague John report sporteth stuff
One goal for Arsenal was not enough

In the fourth round of the FA cup
Everton did Arsenal whoop
With goals galore, more than a brace
Midweek defeat, now saving face
Success too at Wimbledon
With three straight sets, against his one
The champion, four in a row
Calls it a day, its time to go
I place my racquet on the floor
For I no longer, achieve more
Let some new blood, attain my crown
Meanwhile, upon the Epson Down
The favorite,s out, will take no part
With murmer found upon his heart
Its sad to hear, his jockey states
Racing not, is what he hates

I pass you now to my friend Lou
Who bringeth weather news for you

Showery rain, doth teem until
Fall of snow, be-hammer hill
Then forked electric cracketh the sky
While thunderous drums boomed up on high
The once calm river tormenteth banks
By rising climb on each its flanks
Then suddenly as all begun
A quiet comes as peeps the sun
With warmth of beam and lance of ray
Wildlife chatter at end of the day

And that is all we have this night
So taketh care and sleepeth tight
The BBC return on morn
With tales anew, of hate and scorn

Premium Member 2018 - No News Is Good News

Today, when I'm in search of news, seems no honest place to choose

No matter where my surfing lands, my wits are placed in biased hands

Facts and lies chewed in a blender, served up smooth for their agenda

Left or right, it makes no matter, what's dispensed is poisoned chatter

Truth that's twisted, then opined, meant to sway the sheepish mind

Oblique perspectives rife with flaws, varnished clean by righteous cause

Intent to impart the forthright soul, with their false brand of vitriol

They all cede news is "compromised", but entirely by the OTHER guys

So where can I seek news for me - outspoken and propaganda-free?

That's the sad, disheartening twist - trustworthy news does NOT exist

Thus, my New Year's pledge will be to waste that wasted time on ME

Consider last year's news a curse, and pray it won't get any worse

You see, with all that garbage hurled, WATCHING it won't change the world

But trading time spent on the news for kind pursuits and daily truths,

Might turn that hatefulness to mirth, (in my little corner of the Earth)

For bringing worldly changes nearer, starts with that guy in the mirror

So my resolution's to disabuse, and not waste '18 ... on the "news".
