Best Glowingly Poems
Absolutely enchanting I thought ~
As I drew the curtains wider, to allow in a bit more light....
Returning unto the canvas and dipping my brush
Into a slightly brighter shade of beige
Thinking perhaps just a touch more violet, a dab of red, and, a stroke of amber
Until, I heard the door bell ring, breaking, this mesmerized trance....
Sitting my palette down, and lying my brush aside, atop a colored cloth
I turned to see who it was, that was there?
"Hold on dear, I shall be right back," I whispered
As she smiled amid a radiance, that stopped me within my steps
How rarely seldom does one get a chance like this I thought?
If it is truly important and I know them
Then they shall kindly call, or possibly even leave myself a note
Besides, what an unpleasant reflection it would be, to even but for an instant
Interrupt this dream....
For no greater beauty have I ever beheld, nor have I ever found, then this
Perfection within everyway I believe, is whom she is ~
"What's wrong," she asked, "are you not going to see who it is?"
Glistening eyes, as I fixated upon her own, mirrors, of an endless hue
"No, not right now dear," as I then, poured her a drink
Smiling as she gracefully arose, proposing a toast I said
"To this moment, this day, to you and I, this time, and, amore"....
As I slowly reached forth my hand, to tenderly caress her rosen cheek
And to glide my fingers gently, through her shining auburn hair
"Here dear," leading her loveliness softly, "here, sit right there
That the sunlight may embrace your boundless beauty
This magnificence of your splendor, these wonders, from whom you truly are" ~
Glowingly she smiled once more, as with a passion, I then kissed her perfect lips
"I love you," she uttered
While as the mornings dew lit rays, reflected upon her enchantedness
As a glittering arose about my own heart, and a warming, within my now raptured soul
"So do I my love, I love you more," I returned
Retrieving my brush, my palette and my cloth
Exchanging glances amid knowing thoughts, these souls, so intertwined ~
"Excellent, do not move dear"
As always was captured forever, within, this moment right here....

The old year hobbles out - his path an aftermath of blunders.
Glowingly expectant, the new year readies for a grand entrance -
wearing nothing but fresh unstained diapers of naiveté.

Gentle are this afternoon's random rains,
that water the garden's blooming flowers.
Still one hummingbird ignores the showers.
Life travels through its delicate veins.
Suspended motionless feeds on planted nectar,
harmless, unimposing, all thrust no vector.
My tearing eyes lit glowingly,
in awe I observe attentively
this miniature bird moving quietly.
While silk wings flutter invisibly,
his straw draws food continually.
A brushed mystical blue
with stroked green sure
presents a marveled view
of God's fairy creature.
Flitting to and
fro above land.
Diminutive and grand
this alluring,
this flying
miracle!

The relay race starts with a bang as rain comes pouring down.
The starting runner, Spring, flies by in her bright flower crown.
Baton gets passed to Summer, who so glowingly appears
right at the very moment that the massive rain cloud clears.
The crowd all loves this golden runner, who too soon is gone.
The sun shines brightly on her as she passes the baton.
The third one, Autumn, plods through leaves and nearly takes a Fall,
then passes off to Winter, who proceeds at such a crawl -
for she showed up in sweatpants, knowing snow had been forecast.
Each spectator cheers loudly when the finish line is passed.
But when that race is over, then a new one's soon begun
with all the fans excited to see how THAT race is run!

Exhausted, I fell
into the orbit of you
Lonely voyage ... drifting
Spent all my fuel
searching in the wrong quadrant
for the perfect star
A trail of cosmic dream debris
led me to where you are
But I would’ve flew right on by
and missed you,
had I not emptied my heart
I had no more spirit energy,
I used it all up
looking for the wrong star
My heart was just drifting,
when I fell into the orbit of you
Simply drifting alone, baby
Until you pulled me close to you
Your love gravity
pulled me in so deep
Deep into you, baby ...
deeper and deeper
I would’ve flew right on by
and missed you,
if my empty heart hadn’t stalled
You shone invisible ...
shining right in front of me,
but I didn’t see
You burned invisible ...
but your love I couldn’t see
Until the force of your love grabbed hold of me,
spinning me, spinning me
Your attraction wouldn’t let go of me,
it was changing me, changing me ...
into you, I felt you merging me
Your love gravity
pulled me into your heart deep
Your star shone invisible ...
shining right in front of me,
but I didn’t see
Your star burned invisible ...
so glad I fell into your soul healing heat
You whispered this glowingly:
my love,
come rest within the orbit of me

The Story Of The Cruel And Dark Queen That Feeds On Souls
She that exists to eat innocent souls and this world's vast wealth
A dark goddess, splaying her straggly long hair with wilted roses
Pretty, brazen, wickedly heartless and damn to hell soulless
Even far more beautiful, glowingly fair than is Lamia
Artists and poets seek words to describe her deep darkness
Souls of artists, painters and reprobates toiling for her glee
Thousands enslaved in the mirage of her horrible essence
She that holds me locked into her enticing horrid imagery
As I toil like Hercules to break these impregnable chains
Such that morning holds no beauty, sky is devoid of its blue
These many months pass and pass, O' my spirit is wilting
I seek the gold moon at night but find only darken shadows
And absolutely no human pleasures ever do I know or feel
I that exist in this raging true hellish world of deep evil pains
Pray for dearest release that I may one day die a free man
And if gifted our God's sweet mercy, shall enter the Pearly Gates.

Oh my dear, I do see your silhouette;
Sad as it seems your tears steadily drip,
crashing to the floor but oh so quiet.
My love, I do fret I cannot quite rip this
puppeteer of pure pain behind your eyes.
“Come closer my love,” but she stood quite still.
Though the tears become puddles as she cries,
the dark fears cannot break desire’s will.
Oh how her shadow now fades glowingly,
broken promises pry pleasure from pain.
She smiles finally and, knowingly
in her eyes no more tears; her sky no rain,
for she’s found solace in realizing
the grace of having a heart still beating.

No, are not in any contest found.
It is your comments to my poetry,
that to my heart are bound.
No one comment is better than
another.
For to me, when you comment,
you are automatically my sister
or my brother!
I see great poets here, lying dead
with sixty reads.
Does it take that long to comment
and do a good deed?
What's the big hurry here?
Poets like having comments and
you can't write one comment of
good cheer?
A contest is definitely not for me.
I prefer friends who comment~
You are the best, loving trophies.
I cannot tell you how much it jump
starts my day!
It makes me so thankful, I shout,
with joy, hurray!
So, thank you, you trophies of my
heart!
Your names are all posted, and in
my soul, glowingly written and will
never depart.

Between rainfall and the glint of night pearls
enchanting is air, a minty cologne
where toes go barefoot to wade and unfurl
into a pour of lips glowingly sewn.
Touches ripen the aftertaste of dew
catching a stardust with beguiled ardor
heady the flight of promises renewed
even the mist hums an intimate lore
drenched in words,”You are my forevermore…”

When we see the world is getting uglier as it goes
We tried to make it happy because that’s where we belong
We just follow the open air and to where it will close
The truth is, we want to create our own world in headstrong
We are tied to our past and never loosen
And among the many seclusions, it keeps coming back
Sad and happy moments replayed as often
Tears and smile accompanied our luck
Until someone came and makes your world beautiful
Makes the night with stars shining even in the gloomy sky
Makes every lazy and busy day be grateful
That is why we can say it is possible if someone will lead us to try
Life has many ups and downs and the test begins unknowingly
We may lose or victory to come our way, but the place in the middle is best
We are halfway to falling down and halfway of reaching dreams glowingly
We disavow our existence but think of handicapped and their stresses
The things that bother us now are just small stuff that we can let go
Life is just a borrowed clothes and soon to be hanging when not in use
Glory to God that we are given a chance to live for a while at apropos
What is left for us is to make the most of what we think is right to choose

FIVE DECADES
It is yet dawn here!
Though the sun smiles glowingly
The souls set to toil
Like hypnotized spirit in deep laughter
It is yet dawn here!
The cloud had fermented
The earth arrogantly molested
Culminating a forced abortion
It is yet dawn here!
The journey had long began
The barns are of suckling
Counsels have been trodden
Five decades of fumbling and stumbling
When will it be dawn here?

Verse
(this written about a baker's half-dozen years ago)
this then stunning lithe oldest teenage niece, daughter of
my younger sister epitomizes a tall drink of water
(similar to the mother at same age)
What with her willowy young woman body
brimming with budding potential
for breath-taking beauty
enhanced by her quiet mien
expressing itself thru exemplary
artistic and literary flair
if asked to draw a character sketch anime
or wax poetic she would demure
modesty restrains her
acknowledging creative talents
so I thought to compose an ode in praise
of this quiet-natured adolescent
teetering on the brink of adulthood
(now a glowingly radiant young woman)
evolving positive qualities
via submittable the strength of said sibling
whose ambitious parents embarked to Spain
late summer found them
bound for the Iberian peninsula
this brother suppresses
envy adventurous bold risk-taking
exposing offspring to world wide web of Europe
fostering cultural awareness represents continuity
for I remember this youngest sibling
as gently conniving for courage
to act on her je nais sais qua esprit de corps
as like an inner divining rod
and faith in self-enabling an exemplary example
of motherhood constituting
both this and Marleigh
(the second of deux whip-smart darlings)
with the world at their fingertips as hands-on learning
all the while insinuating courage
to take life by the red dee bull horns!??

Light of Life
{For the Osigwes}
What is life?
Life is made over,
Of so many thing;
What life is made of generally,
I can't say,
But there is only one thing i will say;
Life is but a light,
The light of life is shinning for everyone that
discovers it,
This light, it is not discover by everybody;
It is a light found by a person,
The bright light shines
For human who have no special gift and knowledge,
But observing in humility and patience come to grasps,
What is in this light of life;
These humility and patience are the same blood,
They are filial, one can't let another,
Go because they are made for each other;
Those who have discover this light of life ,
Have spoken glowingly of it;
They have spoken of the results,
That they have gained from it,
And they all want to move forward;
It actually moves them forward.

Besmeared in bloody red she stands before sun god

While his mother earth's shadow eclipses their union from star gazers

Your mind, perhaps, for you’ll find out
Opinions vary widely,
From those described most glowingly
To others penned most snidely.
The bar graph gives percentages
Of how the ratings fare
So follow the conclusions
Or reject them, if you dare.
For everyone’s impressions
Will be different and distinct
And those who thus ignore them
Will be very soon extinct.
