A Glorified Lab Rat

They look at us
as if we were just lab rats,
and maybe, we are.
Who knows or cares?
I definitely do care.

I know that
I'm part wolf and human.
I don't want to know how much wolf
is in my DNA.

If I knew, I would know
that I am a glorified lab rat.

Premium Member Ask In Jesus Name So God Be Glorified In Christ - John 14: 12-13

Jesus speaks here with conviction
showing that believing in Him will do
works that Jesus did while on earth
for He is the almighty God ever true

Being filled by God's holy spirit
the comforter empowers the believer
to be the evidence showing Jesus
to prove believing be the achiever

God assures to the believing heart
you can ask anything in my name
whatever God's put on their heart
that will be accomplished for your claim

The purpose of all this is divine
so, God, the father be glorified in His son
for His promise is to the soul believing
that their request is His will be done

Hold on to this promise believing friend
believe deep down all this in your heart
that God's perfect love knows no bounds
seeking out your good in no small part

(John 14: 12-13

"Amen, amen I say to you, whoever believes in me will do the works that I do, and will do greater ones than these because I am going to the Father. And whatever you ask in my name, I will do, so that the Father will be glorified in the Son.)

The Over-Glorified Airplane Ride

“In the pocket of the seat in front of you, you’ll find:”
A cushion, stuffed with cotton balls; eight or nine,
One Crimson- tinted, two-by-four fleece cut out,
And a magazine full of things no one cares about

“For your comfort today, we provide:”
A seat, which six inches backwards, reclines,
A nine inch pixelated Toshitty TV,
And headphones that fit no ears, for only $3.50

“Thank you for choosing American Airlines,”
Enjoy your seat next to the odorous woman who rants the whole time
And you’ll see we break every stereotype.
Our attendants are fat and *****y, not skinny and nice.

“We hope you find your flight pleasant”
Sitting next to the odorous woman, who loves to rant,
Or the man who can’t fit in his 17” airplane seat,
Pouring onto the lap of the woman, whose infant screams, unwilling to share her teet.

Drugs Should Be Experienced, But Sobriety Should Be Most Glorified

Eat shrooms til everythings pretty, pop molls til your caring and witty.
Smoke trees til your chill as the breeze, and drink to forget what you need.
Do all the trippys to think like the hippie, make sure your an expert and not be so picky.
Just let me know when your drug trip is over, so I can tell you how you are when your sober

Glorified Madness

Pure Water colorless, coffee always loved hot
Gentle rub on the shoulder, yes on the elbow
A sound rolls from the inner
A hail for glorified madness
All life sliced with a bread knife
Only the jams and butter are called to duty.

Unbelievable in the shadows of celebrities
The stars of soccer produce the craziest goals
The dribble, kicks and the madness, over the post
Until the regulator calls it off
The flop of matches are presumed, but wrong most times
Is amazing how our balls beat a keeper
That is what brings the glorified madness
Vision, determination, action and fans are on their feet

Substitute your best for the less,
Your resignation letter sang by expectants
But how you coach yourself for life
Will keep your replica jerseys on higher demands
With a water-less cup, generations will sing to you a lullaby
While the joy you share, keep products in glad testimonies.

Television As Glorified Citizen Kane

Upon making
     the treacherous
     undertaking optimal
     poetic theme to write
dangerous, and
     arduous foray into
     spooky catacomb, I in vite,
     where fear doth

     dill liver worst
     trek to our mailbox tonight
risking life and limb
     at very right
angled turn
     summoning em mon ent
     mettle pluck quite
for quotidian plight,

asper hiding unseen creatures
     sealed in dark shadows
     along the edge of night
way after deep
     into nighttime hours,
     I cautiously slink
     with steely might
thru barely adequate light

even for this healthy
     as an ox good knight
relying on a Jack o'lantern
     designed jacklight
with superb vision,
     and supreme insight
steadily held above
     mine five feet and

     ten inches average height
espy spilling thru underneath
     securely eye
     booked deal lee shut tight
locked heavy metal doors,
     a faint glimmer
    sans gaslight
possibly from blaring,

     flashing, and placating
     television screen se
essentially keeping curmudgeonly
     aged residents company,
     while reminiscent nostalgic
     "FAKE" memories take flight
as such wistful
     foregone reflections

     upon the gift of
     a watermelon pickle excite,
viz the cobwebbed
     whirled wide
     give "tearful", though
     pained years gone by
     blinkered back teary delight
a hermetically sealed story,

     one will never
     get ghost written, nor
     affixed with a copyright
depressingly clamped
     down inescapable
     emotionally stagnating
     autobiographical blight.

May Jesus Be Glorified

May Jesus Be Glorified!

May Jesus be glorified!
His enemies scattered!
He’s everything to me!
And all that matters!

Every battle in life…
 He’s there with me!
He is my protector…
Because he loves me!

He is my rock, high tower
and my shield!
Every evil sprit, to him,
 must yield!

I’ve decided to join his army!
  The battle is won!
Victory is assured!
 Through God’s anointed son!

My life with him,
 is eternally bliss!
For he is mine!
 And I am HIS!

Premium Member God's Most Glorified By Our Satisfaction

God's glory returns to Him alone
all because He's most glorified
when His saints are united in Him
being satisfied by His grace is applied

Bringing glory to God all the more
is connected when receiving much grace
real satisfaction comes only from our Lord
who sends us grace upon grace to His praise

Real living faith comes from believing
on the God of His word eternally true
so take the Lord simply at His word
then true faith will flourish like morning dew

So be pleased to courageously confess
I shall greatly honour my Lord and king
for the Lord hears this for His pleasure
then we can raise our voice, an upward spring

Our greater aim in life is to send glory
high and lifted up to our satisfier
the Lord God alone meets that title
for our great intercessor never will retire

(Quote:
" God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in HIm."
" We shall bring our Lord most glory if we get from Him much grace. If I have much faith so that I can take God at His word. I shall greatly honour my Lord and king.")

Glorified Serpent

Don't you want to be,
Like them
Running barefoot,
towards the light in
White bathrobes
And flip-flops?
A plastic surgery resurrection
Blistering in the sun
Like a glorified serpent
Shedding under the blind
Eyes of heaven,
Glorified singing to the angels
Remember me?

Blessed and Glorified

I journey upon a plane of shattered glass ---
Leaving me feeling as though I would plummet down ---
Into the depth of all that is most sinful ---
Perhaps if I hold my breath, that won't transpire ---
Eventually I must give sway to take breath ---
Fore if I continue to do not I will die --
Yet, what is truly the bettermost selection? ---
Being alive in all that is damned and unholy? ---
Or to perish into what is known to be blessed and glorified?

Premium Member Glorified Bodies

Only glorified bodies on gold's streets worship God forever.

*Romans 8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

Glorified Hermit

Entrance my heart oh silent air
my thoughts allowed to zoom and sail
to bounce off walls of self defeat
and rain back down in liquid sheets.
Like music lost in fingertips
which hum and rest upon my lips
but flee when passerby's arrive
to catch me at my most alive.
Thoughts which dwell in corner closets
dark and warm until I conjure
up their image in my dreams
although quite wide awake I be.
Mournful melody, thoughts of rhythm
surging from the lonely chasm
written out with shaking pencil
fast as they will let me catch them.
Sometimes thoughts come out in oils
sometimes they speak in watercolors
trees with roots running off the page
or a basket of apples in brown and sage.
That look you have with the sun in your eyes
or the mirror of canvas in bright green skies.
Then there are thoughts which will only let go
when the poetry pulls them and lets them flow.
Loosed they are known for sweeping statements grand
and building tall stories on shifting sand.
They won't blink an eye to a passerby
as strangers are known to occasionally lie.
They fuel up the music and hand art a brush
and glare at the air with an infinite "hush"!
For poetry, melody, painting uninhibited
is the limitless gift of the glorified hermit.

Cracked But Glorified

CRACKED BUT GLORIFIED

Every one of us is given a gift—to show who God is
Glorious treasures entrusted with wisdom and care
Grafting us into a plan, making us co-workers of His
To partner an eternal God cannot compete—so rare

An amazing reality coming to life if we have His mind
There is no higher honor for the work of our hands
When spiritual intellect becomes entwined—aligned
Spiritual diversity defined through His perfect plans

Struggle and strife through life—alone we stand
Cracked and fractured by hearts that are broken
Sculptured carefully with the 'Potters perfect hand
His name glorified -revealing our treasures golden
