Best Geminis Poems

Premium Member Astrology's Big Twelve

Aries must learn danger with their own toddler test.
Taurus grasp emotions from the feel in their chest.
Geminis wish for words hearers clearly digest.
Cancers thrive in a neat, loving family nest.
Leos strive to lead infused with praise about their best.
Virgos shelve their dreams for duties that sternly pest.
Libras view couple love as perfect life's peak crest.
Scorpios forget naught, hiding all in mind's vest.
Sag needs outdoor adventure per their soul’s request.
Capricorns need for perfection is not a jest.
Aquarians hear their own drum and march with zest.
Pisces bear any news without shock or unrest.

Lost In the Shadows of Me

drunk with creativity
i long to be understood
drunk with anticipation
pondering my actions wicked wild... and obscenely good
worry is not in my creed
viewpoints ideas inspiration desire and passion
is what i need
i am lost in the shadows of time
looking in the mirror differently...
imagine that...the first to notice
a fellow Gemini... my homegirl Emily
I am single
no one to say they are mine
or I theirs
one day that might change...if times dares
(lol)
drunk of the love i bare
drunk on the love I can give
lost in the shadows of me
the prism of poetic insanity
love everyone in my life since the day we all first met
from the classic barbeques... to playin with water guns...or at the park gettin wet
from singing songs... dancin the night away
lost in the shadows of good times
i seem to be these past few days
i see me embracing change in what i do and what i have done
Afterall Geminis fly... we don't run
prism of passion sprinkled with a dash of drama that i really don't need
I walk away...and in turn... to the days ahead my soul plants a new seed
a tree of new wisdom all to teach and learn
I see life through the darkness... yet I am said to possess much light
Gemini at its best... with life's wonders I wrestle and fight
acts of love nothing less

Gemini

Do the May days roll into one long bank holiday?
The linearity of time banishing winter blues away
Sunscreen, icecream, flip flops, shades out
As they say until Mays over we should neer cast a clout

Should we listen to proverbs as old as the hills?
Or pretend this is Summer? Go out seeking thrills
June stops by, the only month with 3 birthstones
As our title dictates, how air sign spun

Mercurial, subject to sudden or unpredictable changes?
Unlike the May/ June weather, geminis exchanges
64 degrees F upon average in London, U.K
Forget Me Nots, sure influx

Annual Mysotosis Stricta, 1 year growing cycle
Otherwise known as Scorpion grasses, have muscle
These plants symbolise true love, true blue
Too, you I'm thinking of, make love new.

Premium Member Ignoring People On a Poetry Site

I thought I had maybe clicked to ignore six or seven poets on another site.
Being open minded, and flexible, I was horrified to see
I actually had blocked fourteen people
who had irritated me at one time or another.

I do not even know what they did, but I am a Gemini
This is no excuse, but I do know I react swiftly,
sometimes overreacting, without using the intelligence
Geminis are born with.

It was so liberating, freeing, and it made me happy to unblock them.
I cannot explain how or why, only that now there is nothing
standing between me and my fellow poets, including my temper
So thank you for the terrific idea, my darling new best friend!

It is as if an elephant sitting on my chest just hiccupped
and flew into the air in the form of a monarch.
How wise this was! I am grateful.
Knowing I would have never done it “on my own.”

Premium Member Geminis Can Ignore Anything

My blood pressure is high he said.
No higher than mine I thought.
I think I am having a stroke he whined.
Is your eye wavering? I asked.
Uh-huh.
Is your heart beating extra fast?
Yes.
Don’t worry, I told him. I had that an hour ago. I’m still alive.
He stares at me. “Are you a Gemini?”
His father was, and I am. He knows we have similar traits.
And we both know that a Gemini can ignore anything at any time.

Premium Member what Geminis Do

It’s almost finished
I leave it
Hankering to begin a new project

I am half a sliver away from completion of this second piece
When a shiny something draws my attention

I follow the object with my eye
Craving novelty, something new

I feel freshness in my veins
A new beginning

Leaving projects in every room, almost completed is my M.O.
I am a Gemini
This is what Geminis do.

Geminis Are Special People

Tu Pac Shakur was a June Sixteen
And I, a June Fifteen;
Also, a full year my younger
But on our Third Planet didn’t linger
John F. Kennedy,
A bashed head, no remedy,
A May Twenty-Nine,
Like Tu Pac not a cat with lives up to nine.

Gemini Greats seem destined for the bullet,
Wherefore my fervent wish is that I remain a pullet
My everlasting consolation, our mercuric intelligence
The stupendous achieving with the poorest diligence.

Always The Ever Clever
To cobwebbed wisdom flinging 'A Never';
Of a soul crazily restless
With tasks striving even while listless:
Dying Laureate Yeats still pushing his poetic pen,
Perhaps thinking of another impossible ten!

Geminis are special people:
Both the seemingly simple
And the liable to cause a ripple...

Good bye to the late T. B. Joshua,
Whose healing of T. B. were sure.

Premium Member Warning From My Committee

Nature nurtures Geminis like me.
Sun and flowers, honey, and bee.
I put out a call, and laid down in the sun.
Little Wolf came quickly, always on the run.

She’s done, depleted. She’s forgotten how to play.
She wants to come home, said my deceased cousin, Mae.
She has missions left, we have warned her before.
She gives too much of her light, which is why she’s so sore.

We will heal you this time, my committee said. If you promise to play.
If you lead others, and teach them to not be this way.
I lay in the sun for two hours, nurtured by sun, bird and flowers.
Keep some of your juice, keep some of your powers!

You have to keep a bit of shine, to keep yourself going.
My chairman told me sternly, his essence was glowing.
I think I am ready, I said. I can pass the test.
I cuddled my animals on the couch, my own little nest.

Drink lots of water, someone whispered in my left ear.
My breathing calmed down, I knew it was someone dear.
You have to change your life to a methodical pace.
Doing your bit to honor the whole human race.

Can I do it? I asked. My imagination did not know.
Can I keep back some of myself for myself? Keep my light low?
Can I take care of me too? And maybe put some of my needs first?
It might be worth it to not always feel my worst.

Premium Member Artist Finds Artist

The minute I saw her I knew she was an artist
Her hair screamed CREATIVITY! It was fabulous.
Oranges and purples, beads interwoven, a hodge podge.
Messy some might say, I did not see that.
I saw an artist; and I knew we would be friends.

I am the school counselor. This is my first day here.
This girl was brought to me before ten, my first guest.
We hit it off like artists do – fast, furiously, and ferociously.
Everything we could have in common we have in common.

She has my husband’s birthdate – October 22nd.
Libras and Geminis get along better than most signs.
I took this as a sign; it was a terrific day.
Thanks to artist finding artist.

Premium Member Gemini Babies

We are whimsical and wonderful, wild in some ways.
Our out-of-this world imaginations are keen and mercurial.
We are the Gemini babies and watch out world for we are on our way.

We are always busy, with our sharp little minds, and we have wit.
We are small of stature, but so very mighty when we belong to you.
And we belong to everybody, the whole world claims us as theirs.

We are popular with the Aquarians and the Librans but Cancer loves us too.
We are artists, poets, writers, dancers, singers; we love to entertain.
We are the ones people wait for at parties, so the real fun can begin.

We will paint murals on your walls, while you sleep to surprise you.
We will enter competitions and win, because we are insanely loved.
We will delight your and entice you to be the best you for we are Geminis.

The only things we dislike are dishonesty, unfairness and bullying.
Everything else we can pretty much ignore and love you anyway.
We are the dreamers, the schemers, the let’s be in-between-ers.
Nothing better than cuddling us and loving us, your Gemini babies!

Premium Member Fire Spirit Woman

I am snapping and popping in oranges and grays
Falling into myself, starting from zero, and rebuilding
Like a phoenix, I die and rebirth, over and over,
Enjoying my transformation each time learning something

Humans sometimes do not understand me,
Goddess of Fire, but I am easy for those who do.
People who are constantly reinventing themselves,
Geminis for sure, and some Aquarians.

I know they are not supposed to be fire signs,
But many are, and make no apologies for it.
Understanding that remaining in one element
Is stagnant and boring

Staring into a fire, wishing they were reducing
And reimagining themselves in a new form
This is what fire is all about. I am their goddess.
When I see them staring into me, I recognize their need.
