Best Garden Of Eden Poems
1.
Mom
kept the perch
we caught in a bucket.
And when we took them home
She would clean and place them
In our twenty gallon tank
Where they bobbed in stunned silence
Eyes watching for any white movement.
Nobody cared
when they committed fishicide
on their domesticated tank-mates.
Even the little beta fish
Who had survived our six day pilgrimage from Florida, to find Mecca
was a cool whip container.
2.
Whenever we had guests for dinner,
Mom swooned they
were the smartest fish she had ever seen.
She bestowed upon them names - Jed and Lucy
tapping at the glass
with one extended finger,
feeding them fish flakes,
like porpoises fed from the teeth of a trainer in Ocean World
“You can’t keep perch in a fish tank”
the guests would say,
but
they lived for two years
bobbing and staring
in the vacant tank space.
3.
One crisp winter morning
Jed finished his breakfast of gold fish flakes, took one
last gulp of slimy tank
water
then hurled
himself off of glass
walls.
It went
over and over,
so hard
I almost thought
the glass would crack.
4.
Lucy
sat quietly and watched
him.
She too died a few days later
like aged soulmates
who often cease
to be after their amor
dies.
When someone left the lid open,
she plunged
her blue green skin shimmered
as she laid
making fish O’s in the dry air..
I often wonder
if the air that morning
smelled
like an ice floe
to a better place
somewhere Jed waited
with our beta and our angel fish
a place of worms, kelp
and dragonflies.
4.
Mom
emptied the tank of the murky filtered water.
Rinsed the ultra neon yellow fish gravel,
and placed the fake plants on a sponge.
Separating air filter, from pump
from clear plastic tubing
and put to rest
in a brown cardboard box..
She did it without a word.

In the garden of Eden
There is no sorrow and cries
I am the pretty kitten
Playing with blue butterflies
There is no sorrow and cries
Here, Love blooms in every ground
Playing with blue butterflies
Only caress can be found
Here, Love blooms in every ground
Butterflies flutter and play
Only caress can be found
I sleep on the grass or hay
Butterflies flutter and play
My paws do not hurt any
I sleep on the grass or hay
I like to play with many
My paws do not hurt any
I am the pretty kitten
I like to play with many
In the garden of Eden

In this Garden, Eve took on the omnipotent
knowing she lacks power to eat the forbidden fruit.
Her bite was great, as she tasted the fruit that
she offers to Adam, to do the same.
God told Adam to take his woman
out of his Garden.
Eden was unhappy this day.
God dominion was now forbidden.
Adam had bitten from the fruit as well.
Therefore, Adam was damned to a life of labor.
Ascribed to man, Eve was to be
the child bearer.
Life that you form man
must be supported.
Adam worked hard to raise Cain
and Abel.
This is guidance given.
This is meaningful to your living.
Man does not support his child life in the world
but states he is religious.
He hides from his obligations
or he does not work.
Therefore, a systematic problem evolves,
juvenile crime because of the lack of financial support.
God told Adam to take his woman out of his Garden.
He must work to take care of her and his babies.
He told him… “Adam your Garden must be your core.
This is your resting place; therefore, you will know the way of man.”
In the words of the Almighty, man must form his Garden
through holistic measures.
God told Adam to take care of home
since he loved his woman more than his core.
And, when Eve bares Adam’s children,
make sure he provides meaningful support.
Adam did.
Man today must.
This is the way to meaningful existence
and a holistic world.
Man is the strength.
Woman is the moral support.

Garden of Eden
delights while Adam and Eve
make first love. God smiles.
I have Sinned
I have eaten from the garden of Eden
Pleasured the sweetness of the forbidden fruit
Served in the Kingdom of The Harlot
With a sign on the front door
"enjoy with responsibility"
Today i confess a great Sin
Within me now, lies a serial killer
A beast feeding on my red blood cells
Death is my friend,Graves are my home
Chaos is the fire burning in my veins
The sweet fruit turned bitter
I blew a kiss
Beautiful roses and butterflies turned away
They used to laugh with me
Now they laugh at me
In darkness like a dog with a leash on
my neck tied to the branch of a tree
I tried to cut my jurney short
The hidden secret for generation has broken free
Disobedience taunt my mind
while my heart burns in hell
I slipped and fell now i broke
my back, like an isolated dessert flower on
fertile soil but does not germinate Seeds
Traveling alone on the road to doom
hoping to see a glow, on the wedding date
I made my vows'till death do us part'
Indeed it will.awaiting rebith is like waiting
for the sun to rise from West and set at East
Ohh, what an ugly Sin to commit
but a sweet fruit to taste
penned by madikana Rodney(manyama phala)
The serpent, being tricky, used truth for a lie
“Here Woman, eat. You will surely not die!”
So, she ate of the fruit and made up a plan,
Crying, “It's not my fault!” as to Adam she ran.
Adam and Eve both declaring, “I will show no shame!”
As Man took of the fruit, in like manner, the same.
When later they saw their nakedness, their innocence lost,
The serpent slithered away, leaving them to face the cost.
God came to commune with the couple when the day was cool.
Finding them covered with leaves, he knew they'd broken his rule.
When questioned, they pointed while saying, “I'm not to blame!”
While fearfully remembering how the serpent had presented his claim.
“You have no proof.” Eve stubbornly persisted to her disgrace.
God answered, “Untrue! See the seeds? There is still a trace.
Because you partook of the forbidden fruit from that one tree,
My Son also will die for these sins, and others, on Calvary.”
In a strong marriage, a long marriage
much cannot be said, should not be said.
The spots on one's skin will be wisely ignored.
Differences of opinion are tolerated, not debated.
Your memories may disappoint your partner
as not those she has selected, refracted.
Over dinner for two at the Mill on the Floss
it could be dangerous to compare wills, losses.
Or it might result in belly laughs, Shakespearean
revelations, the night he got us lost in the woods
or she peed her pants at a party. The marriage was Faustian,
in a good way, like going to a job in the Garden of Eden.
Having survived 25 years, knowing 50's impossible,
what else do we know? Raised 2 boys, painted 3 houses.
In the Garden of Eden, if I were Eve,
There’s one thing that you must believe –
Although temptation still would call,
An apple wouldn’t cause my fall.
Yet no one is immune to fate
And so I wouldn’t hesitate
To violate forbidden code
For apple pie – if a la mode!
Whenever the rays of the sun begin to fade,
And the twilight hours and dawn appear,
Whenever the stars begin rushing to queue and ride,
Their skylights’ ships tearing the zephyr,
Your radiant beauty emerges to cover and shade,
All this universe, front, middle and rear,
How can I describe it? How is it made?
Only God almighty knows it well my dear,
Your spring smile overcomes winter and fastens the year,
But when you’re sad bursting into tears,
It calls winter again, flashing its lightening and thundering its blade,
This is only a small verse and a mere,
Description of your emerald dew,
Flooding diamonds over your chicks are laid,
I could neither torment myself to go further or hear,
My eyes are full of lights, your light and shade!
My scales are stars gleaming in the water.
My body is the river you cannot cross.
I am massive. I am the moon.
I will not shrink or shirk
away the love you made me fearful of.
I shed this skin you once peppered with adoration.
I’m perhaps larger, but more beautiful,
more powerful than before.
I am without you.
I am not fashioned of your rib, no, it’s
parthenogenesis; I birthed my own self.
I never needed you
or the silver words of deceitful lips.
I am the decider of destiny.
I am not afraid. I’m oiled with venom of my own.
I am God. I rule this life and you
cannot take my garden away from me.
In the Garden of Eden, all peace and tranquility
Until Satan in his prideful rebellious season
With his gimmickry introduced sin willingly
In the Garden of Eden
Oh! The separation between God and man_ depletion
The cross held one God/man whose love is affinity
This constant love draws man it's a life saving beacon
God had a plan to save man from his fallibility
There 'pon that cruel cross when it seemed Satan had beaten
Jesus saved man, He lives again_God now our total accessibility

There, life and peace do not erode.
Beautiful Garden of Eden
Then came the lies; passions explode!
Making love without abandon.
That place where knowledge grows on trees.
And fruits ooze juices sweet, alive.
Exotic scents waft in the breeze.
Quiet whispers watch loves' contrive.
Daily talks remember God.
His visits there, often and sure.
Two walked amid the goldenrod.
Together in innocence pure.
Ecstasy brought many downfalls.
Passions unfetter for all time.
That ancient place, my dream enthralls.
Make love to me there, sweet sublime.
Come, my knight in shining armor
Whisk me away; oh, ancient past.
Flaming angels and gifts of myrrh
Await honor and faith to last.
Take me to celestial glory
Forever to be in your arms.
Together, we on bended knee,
Loving forever, free from harms.

Ever see such a sight?
my garden of Eden
so precious she be
the joy it brings
as the rays reflect brightly
like rainbows towards eternity
there it is, has caught my eye
my garden of Eden I say with pride
cool, clear and wet crystals fed
while thankfully smiles, up goes the head
as she perks straight to the sky
what a beautiful sight oh my!
circling sounds of buzzing
from one end to another amuses my ear
beautiful music it plays
my garden of Eden's alive
it brings joy in sad hearts
happiness while it's being played
my garden of Eden soon sleeps
the cycle of things after the reaps
so crisp and chilled under the stars
remembering the rainbow that danced in-front of my eyes
tears not shed she didn't die
So very much alive!
sleeping calmly until season of change
damp reflections, sun upon a rainbow
will rise from the familiar carpet
an undeniable beauty from below
shines all over my garden of Eden.
Sparkle, colors and beauty survives indeed!
oh listen close! the rumbling of the ground
as the earth moves the carpet of colors in motion
in trance are they, as one by one the space is filled
with completed pallets of color she stands perked up straight
look at the beauty while they sway, mother nature is proud
the colors gleaming like a parade of rainbows side by side
Eternal souls in temporal tents
Spiritual battles that won’t relent.
Good the desire, evil conspires
God is drawing and Satan clawing
And eternity hangs in the balance.
The unseen is seen in wicked schemes
Beheadings, pillaging, broken dreams.
Good is the goal, yet evil controls
Jesus is calling and demons gnawing
While eternity hangs in the balance.
What is the source of all division?
Good versus evil- and indecision.
Is man the culprit or the puppet?
Spiritual realms are at the helm!
And eternity hangs in the balance.
The Deceiver spins His demonic whims
The power that holds you? …your sin.
Is there hope, how can we cope?
In this state of affairs, does God really care?
While eternity hangs in the balance.
The desire of God is salvation.
Sins destroys people and nations.
Jesus the Savior, receive Him and savor
The freedom of knowing His Kingdom
And eternity hangs in the balance.
Your have the choice to receive or reject
The free gift of God, to save and protect.
We’re born into sin yet new life begins
When repentance brings blessings relentless
Your eternity hangs in the balance.
Not of our works or self-righteousness
Only through Christ and His sacrifice
Comes the power we need for this hour
To overcome evil and be redeemed people
Our eternity hangs in the balance.
