In the Garden of Eden

In the Garden of Eden, all peace and tranquility Until Satan in his prideful rebellious season With his gimmickry introduced sin willingly In the Garden of Eden Oh! The separation between God and man_ depletion The cross held one God/man whose love is affinity This constant love draws man it's a life saving beacon God had a plan to save man from his fallibility There 'pon that cruel cross when it seemed Satan had beaten Jesus saved man, He lives again_God now our total accessibility In the Garden of Eden.... You have hit the nail on the head with the splendor of this incredible write! We never will make it back to the garden of Eden unless God will allow us in after we have passed away and our souls are free to roam with Him. Your poem is exquisitely done, I really enjoyed this Roundel...a very difficult form to write, and you have done very awesome in writing it! What a tremendous piece my friend, Great Work!!

Philadelphia native Joe Valino (I don't know if he's still living) had a hit song with this title back in the fifties. Good poem about the first few chapters of the Book of Genesis.
