Premium Member My Fuse Explodes

Three neighbors litter on our street
buzzing along as I stroll past their gates;
and they jiggle like vicious wasps
while a silent howl drills on my head.
Yeah…all that drama, women of farce,
greeting me coyly with pretentious smiles…
I hear them cussing behind my back
those verbal bacteria infecting my night.
So why not face me , confront your self-disgust
thrown at my now distorted eye-to-eye stare?
Maggots! Low-life drones who thrive
on cheap thrills weaving vile intrigues
just to get some flipped attention…
I close my eyes for a moment to grab
some air, but the noise yells without restraint.
Well, it’s my time to get back ,after I let a blade
of screech hit the asphalt ground.
Under a reddened sky, a fuse explodes,
“Hey, get off my cloud or you all will be squashed!”

Fuse With Spring

.

                       See us
                   her in pastel
                     flowering
and the long strands of her hair
                     from the
          gentle breeze of Spring
                      dancing

                      See us
                   as we frolic
           under the soft touch of
                  Spring's sun

                      See us
              as we fix our eyes
                 to each other
             while Spring's rain
             tenderly cools our
                   excitable
                      flesh

                     See us
                   fuse with
                     Spring

Center Fuse In Creativity

Momentary lapse of reasoning
behind exemplary seasonings
give way to life's spicy habanero
awesomesauce.
Life's seasoning of sweet-&-sour puckers
Sweet puckering of every souring breath.

Life's wicked stammer nailing it
like a swift hammering blow
squashing pinpoint accuracy.

Strawberry daiquiris fruity liquor quicker
of tasty wines staggers a peaceful
drunken swagger.
Two lips on a single stick licking
twice mythical tricks in a single smooth
liquoring trick.

Heavy Metal rocking chairs speeds
of metal God's playing power cords
of metal's overlords.

Liquor upfront an poker in the rear
get that ass moving in gear boy's
she's my favorite toy I plan to employ.

Aesthetics of fruity colorful abstracts
 pathetic when listening to rhetoric
of rhetorical circles in circumstances.

Forget the rest a single success
I double the best with sweet success
I can triple the doubling time taking
out the best molesting their rhymes
with my words committing felony crimes
in aesthetics of synthesizing
provocative unique exquisite
 designs in rhymes sublime
line's in contemporary design
of these modern times.

Fuse

Cold,
Power within,
Waiting to be released,
Pull the pin,
Count to five,
Throw away,
Power unleashed,
Cold.

Autumn Fuse

Twas an Autumn pink,
when my heart did sink,
she had alleged, loving has edged,
Twas an Autumn blue,
when I'd heard tis true,
let us not stall, it's on the wall,
Twas an Autumn red,
when you'd always said,
it's not exact, it won't yield back,
Twas an Autumn gray
when I heard you say,
that we are through, I'm done with you,
Twas an Autumn black
an old friend named Jack,
intro'd my girl, who was my world,
Now that winter has come around,
a lamb was lost; a man was found.

Fire and Fuse

I strike a blow,
To prove that gods can bleed,
When pierced by an arrow,
Tipped with a poison concocted from imperialistic greed,
Not a gaping wound,
Yet left alone to fester,
A bomb left primed and fused,
To end this world's helter skelter,
Inciting the death of a nation,
And the birth of a new world,
Free from patriotic prostration and international incineration,
Hark the combustion heralds as our new flag unfurls,
The white flag of surrender awash with a dynasty's blood,
Poised aloft a skeletal flagpole,
A worthy tapestry to depict our lives in the marshes' mud,
Behold our new dawning as the Red Sun sets,
Abandon your nuclear thrones and ivory decrees,
For we have relinquished our positions as inborn pets,
And seek retribution against your hereditary disease,
My death will mean nothing,
My dismembered body remains resolute,
My severed head will continue preaching,
Of a world ruled by us, the broken, and destitute.

Premium Member Catastrophic Fuse

I am so inflamed a blizzard is falling,
every toxin taken in I’ve been stalling.
Ice rains as magma plows the ground,
a lethal storm arrives without a sound.

Laying the land to waste in an instant,
it is best to let a disaster stay dormant.
There’s nothing to grasp once it is loose,
you touched off a catastrophic fuse.

Weather you could never prepare for,
should have thought about that before.

With fury next to impossible to diffuse,
be careful the words that you choose.
This pattern of rage is not intermittent,
it will do what it does never quite spent.

Frozen daggers wield a temper unbound
such icy eyes a Cat 6 is now crowned.
Uncontrolled smite is now overflowing
devastation is all that is left standing.

Fuse

When a battery corrodes it leaks
but life, life slow burns,
nothing leaks out
until the energy explodes.
Peaceful and violent death may come
but inner death is a birthing
it cycles and recycles many times
a slow burn
until that womb you hide and carry
from one dark node to another
that too explodes.
Then the light shovels you out
one smoldering organ at a time
until you are full of a hollow grace,
then you can take your leave,
and die in the world shucked
from flesh-stealing time,
but the surprise is in the fuse
(it always is),
that will bring you wide-eyed
to an afterlife as if its length
had not stuttered or spluttered
for one instant
since the thought of you existed.

Fuse and Fusion Process

Using the fuse and fusion process
Why only in nuclear energies?
Let it be in well doing,
Equity establishing
And triumphing humanity’s success.

Can Someone Please Light the Fuse

My trauma cost me everything
My trauma cast them away
My trauma haunts my days
Steals my nights
Takes control of all my thoughts
Takes the angels let's the demons stand tall
My trauma is the cause for all my effects
This legacy of hurt
This foundation of rage
Let's my trauma build these walls brick by brick
This kinda of trauma don't have a purpose
But oh its all so important to me
Shuts all them out
Shuts me all in
Consumes all the light
Dark at dawn
Trauma opens my eyes
I can't escape its chains
Can't break its locks
Carry its ball and chain wherever I go
This trauma is my destruction
Can someone please light the fuse.

Short Fuse

Short Fuse

It’s not the way it works
when I go down
I go down hard
it hurts to hit the bottom
it reprimands me

I hear your voice
but
can hardly
make a choice

so please burn the poems
if they injure you

don’t be swept away
by fire that seared me
when I was young
wrecking golden days
driving me to write
in the
heat of
the
moment

                            - loveliness immortal with a squeeze

If you have a short fuse

Premium Member My Muse Has Blown a Fuse

Soul droops when the weather is wet,
darkened days, drizzle on windows,
Wife watching same soaps,I detest,
no one to talk, no friends, no foes!

Birds take a nap in their hideouts,
cat warming up near fire place,
some eager sports, fishing for trouts,
mystery read, close book,shut case.

Hunger features when day is dull,
seek slice of bread to get undone,
warm herbal tea to light up skull,
to wake up muse and have some fun!

Hazard an attempt with my pen,
old fashioned, paper and pen style,
but ink is dry, thoughts frozen,
wait! my verse will flow in a while!

The Fuse Box Is In the Basement

The Fuse Box Is In the Basement

By Elton Camp

When one circuit goes out at night
It gets me in an embarrassing tight

It’s that fuse that has blown before
But to replace it, I do so abhor

The switch is at the foot of the stair
It’s pitch black in the basement there

To hunt the flashlight I never mind
It’s a thing I never am able to find

I must reach inside and fumble around
Till the basement light switch I’ve found

The bad location I silently curse
What arrangement could be worse

But down the stairs I fearfully tread
What may be inside, I loathe & dread

Logic and reason say it’ll be okay
But the heart another thing does say

Some frightful fiend lurks within
With glowing eyes and evil grin

But childish fears I have to shed
I can’t ask my wife to do it instead

Fuse

the fuse is lit
a kiss is the propellant
our bodies are entwined
on fire from accelerant
and we burn white-hot
but we burn too quick
our liaison had
a very short wick
