awoken yet still dreamy
i float towards the window
by which i wait
by which i dream
peering through the fog of reality
i think of you

how I love you

face to face

peer through those incredible eyes
you expose only to me
completely transparent
deep as you are;
gifted,
singularly unique

the sound of your voice
more intriguing
wind - tiptoes the dense forest greens
the flutter of the one butterfly’s wings
caressing the jade blue of the morning sky

my name flying from you
like angels playing their golden harps
crave Destiny’s Child
“Say my name, say my name”
their music bouncing around in my head
as i wallow in the true of you

i love you face to face

your fresh
out of the shower
complexion

my eyes are yours
surely all of nature embodies you
and i must be made of steel
you the magnet draws the beat of my heart
breaking through my ribs
to sync with yours

face to face
enrobed in your thick locks
my fingers mapping every strand
bury myself in its scent
found in the meld of us

i love you face to face

Face To Face

Dear God
If you blind me
I'd still see your beauty
I'd still find you
through fresh rain on my palm
the note of a pianist
and song of a bird
Through mild perfume of flowers
the splash of a wave
and wind in my hair
Through the blessing
of my mother's arms
the sun on my face
and laughter of each friend
Dear God
If you mute me
I'd still praise you
through the voice in my heart
the strength in my soul
and pen in my hand
Dear God
If You break me to pieces
If the cross is too heavy
and the road gets too long
If I feel all alone
with nobody there
I'd still call you
Cuz ,what is best for me
I do not know
What you want from me
I cannot understand
Yet,I do believe in you
I believe in you
and in nobody else
Yes,I lean on you
without knowing how ,when or where
Cuz , I know, Cuz you know
this tiny dot I live on
this daily labyrinth I walk
is nothing but a stepping stone
nothing but a journey
that I oughtn't question
Cuz , this devouring needy world
is only a salt drop in an ocean
compared to eternal happiness
You have so long prepared.

Face to face at last

Perpetual gaze is held

No words are spoken

Hands reaching out with purpose

You grab the last cookie first

In Tango Face To Face

 Latin guitar boy

with mischief in your eyes
 and comfort in your smile

I thought I could forget
that once upon a night

when final goodbyes
like ash borne clouds
in filthy skies
and short -lived
stars blinked with regret.

A hundred moons have passed
since I have seen you last

Since our life-lines met.

A hunded moons have died
since you crossed my mind.

But last night in my dreams

 I swear I felt a breeze

The wind on my lips
Soft brush on my cheeks;

...And I knew
I knew it was you.

The voice
 The foreign accent

The unique way
You whispered-out my name;

..And I knew
I knew it was you...

I begged you to stay.

You kept getting closer

Tired Hands cupped my face.

You could not walk away;

...And it was you
...And it was me

It was us in tango again

As always
As in forever
As in a better time
As in another place

After
 The rain
The breeze
The sheets,
 and wet pillows of pain

Two hearts
 still beating

Unless We stop dreaming

We were...
We are..

We are still the same.

Face To Face

Here we lie face to face
How I long for your embrace
I'll just lie still and enjoy the view
cause baby I'm in love with you

My path has been arduous like a black swan's song
But finally, I am with you all night long.
Feeling your hand upon my cheek
Your voice smoky and sweet.

Pleasuring the depths of my mind
I'll be yours til the end of time
My heart racing for your touch
Yearning for this night so much

You slipped silently, into my soul
Fed my dream and made me whole
I think of you at all times
This rose bleeds between the lines

Each breath I take, each beat of my heart
You've had me from the very start
Your words, your touch, your soul so sweet
With you my peach, my life's complete

Strong emotions, sweetest smiles, reflect beauty in your eyes.
Fiery passion, ardent love, cascade our feelings to the skies

Face To Face With a Nameless Dame

Hold your fire
Let your sharp tongue retire
When to the fore sneaks your ire

Increasing carelessness danger
Thinking in your mind you’re an indomitable ranger
Although in your own skin you turn into a total stranger

Body somehow cut off from your mind
With a baggage of axes to grind
When moderation and restraint remind you to find

Better avenues conflicts to handle
As your roving hand to a pristine place strays to fondle
In the way you assuage your sorrow bundle

Hoping to progress, succeeding in failure
As your successes grow increasingly fewer
Cos your ire and short fuse couldn’t find a cure

To the uncertainty and unpredictability you nurture
In times of stress. To the fore comes a procrastination culture
You extrapolate into your unreachable future

Where no spouse tolerates you
Cos normal life you have no clue
Neither can you fasten happiness with gregarious glue

Much as you dare to dream
You’d crossed over with flying colours a fast moving stream
When in fear of the unknown you did scream

And to your rescue came a dame
Svelte, graceful who declined to you give both her name and game
Fearing your bad reputation would sully her with both blame and shame.

Face To Face

...inspired by 'Eyes That Last I Saw In Tears'
           by T.S. Eliot

I hear your mourning come but low
from yonder sphere,
far from the grasp of time and space,
yet not the semblance of your face
to calm me, let my yearning go,
pray, anywhere but here.

Though here, I haunt the netherworld,
forever crave your countenance
so sweet to me yet gone.
When at last I float
in death's far kingdom
I shall gloat to see you fair and wan,
no longer kept from your embrace
but together face to face,
no chance, no happenstance.

Premium Member Face to Face with Time

I came face to face with time
It was all sublime.
Nothing was as it seemed
For I thought “surely it must have been dreamed.”
I was shown the past, present, and future.
Then I heard the words, “are you ready for an adventure?”
As I stood there looking into the face of time
I heard bells begin to chime.
He spoke, “What do you see?”
I see destiny.
As I came face to face
I could see His grace.
There is so much more than meets the eye.
Yes, to sanctify.
But there is so much more,
Not only to restore.
To be set free from sin and death,
But to breathe His breath.
To walk in the elegance of His Bride
And from His Kingdom to preside.
As I stood with time face to face,
I was shown the human race.
From the first to the last,
Seasons went by fast.
What began as perfect and undefiled,
Turned dark as they were beguiled.
Down through the ages,
I heard the voice of sages.
Curtains rose,
And curtains had come to a close.
From the great flood,
To the shedding of His Blood,
There is a sound going out across the land,
That our Father God had planned.
Kings rise and fall
But only one will forever rule them all.
There will be a great division,
Everyone will have to make a decision.
Choose this day whom you will serve,
No one can merely stand and observe.
We are called to fight
And not by sight.
Put on your armor
And don’t listen to the voice of the charmer.
Keep watch and do not slumber,
Be ready to be counted in the number.
In the twinkling of an eye,
We will be caught up into the sky.
We have a supper to attend,
So with the things of God do not pretend.
For those left behind
There will be no place to hide.
As I stood face to face with time,
I saw justice being served for every crime.
Then I turned to look
At all those that had their names written in the Book.
All the tears had been dried,
And we will be with Jesus forever by our side.

Sitting Face To Face

Silence
pindrop silence......
broken suddenly,by
your mysterious emerald eyes'
blinking!

Face To Face

Face to face they sit...
brain to brain;
two-eyed flesh machine,
one-eyed blue
laptop screen,
interacting...
systems inputting,
outputting,
precious data.
Face to face they sit,
a complex team
driven to perform
with error-free
precision in a
controlled mini-world
ruled by the god
of technology.
Face to face they sit...
worlds apart,
stark and cold
plastic eye flashing
programmed data;
warm and sensitive
flesh eyes flashing
non-programmable
blue twinkles.

Face To Face

I face you, you face me
This is a phase of reality
Practically death is eternity
Hope you got this constantly

That the truth reveals truth and lies are demonized
Visualize the truths and open all eyes
‘Cause the fact we have to face impacts all minds
But the price we had to cost more than our lives
As we cram knowledge in skulls in hope they'll turn wise
But lies for the wise are unspoken truths utilized
The streets are hard as our neighbors close their blinds
Life is war: you and I are landmines
As diseases of love making kill husbands and wives
The books were right, we are living in hard times
As the wealthy stay wealthy but the poor economize
The intelligent stay healthy but the ignorant are otherwise
Further, from the truth than they realize
That life is a trance we are all hypnotized
In this rat race of human disgrace
Changing the whole place
To pace the chase of the facts, we have to face
That life is a test we just have to ace
And learn after death that we are face to face

I face you, you face me
This is a phase of reality
Practically death is eternity
Hope you got this constantly

These fat cats with stomachs for tires must retire
As our leader’s facing their own desires
While these liars fuel the wrong nation’s fire
Let’s rehire admirals we admire
This nation uses compassion for fame and fashion
Good ideals come in rations
Where doubt is brought slavery is bought
Now we face feelings tagged by price
As the impression of the recession slightly rise
The value of a gesture isn’t a just reward
'Cause a simple smile, no one can afford
As this warning is future’s comedy
The tragedy of this parody is now someone else’s misery
As some live reverse to evil
To rock-the-vil on the society not civil
Chasing illusions only to catch nil
Facing fact from fictional thrill
In this rat race of human disgrace
Changing the whole place
To pace the chase of the facts, we have to face
That life is a test we just have to ace
And learn after death that we are face to face

Face To Face

Joanna Davis

So many things to do today
My goodness I’ve no time to play
The washing, ironing, then the tea
tomorrow I’ll have more time for me!
Just let me get the shopping done,
can’t stop now…I’m on the run
So many things to hide behind
If there’s nothing to do~
Something I’ll find
I’ll dig myself in so deep
even my min’s no time to sleep
I can’t slow down or stop you see
or I might come face to face with me!

Too Far For Face To Face

When relatives and friends are
Much too far for face to face,
A few words through the ether’s
All you need for touching base.

Of course, that type of contact
Will not ever quite replace
A real-life meeting with a kiss
Or cozy warm embrace.

Still, when holidays approach
It is a saving grace
To have access to technology
Which helps us all touch base.

The day I met the airplane face to face
Just going out to work awhile that day
Never knew I could be meeting death's race
Working for Census Bureau_month of May

Just going out to work awhile that day
Client list in hand maps to draw that's grand
Working for Census Bureau__month of May
Lovely drive early spring __last stand

Client list in hand maps to draw that's grand
Never thought that this could be last journey

Never thought that this could be last journey
But when that airplane I met on a curve
Didn't know God had my life in hand_not on gurney

But when that airplane I met on a curve
Never knew that I could be meeting death's race
Pilot out window motion_already swerve
The day I met the airplane face to face...

Face To Face

Yesterday rear it's ugly head
To reign and paint today's rain in red
Seduce the mind and rape dead peace
Through today's stolen and bitter kiss.

Today a circle so viciously formed
Around success and being totally doomed
Farther from the frontier of success
Sinking deeper into doom's fortress.

Today scrambles hurriedly to safety
In the guise of being gentlemanly
Tommorrow smiles and embraces scorn
Setting the pace for a gainless run.

Genuine drive implodes randomly
Indecision gains ground evenly
Gained grounds give grounds in a shameless run
As tommorrow's blur continues to burn.

If today brave the sorrow instead
Turn and face yesterday face to face
Tommorrow's bliss will be assured definitely
A hardworker is a sure candidate for fun.
