Best Entrepreneur Poems
He or she does things in a particular way,
Without regard for possible dismay,
Not that failure is not on their mind,
They just bounce back as they continue to grind,
Some things work, others bomb fast,
But, there's no time to revel or dwell on the past,
The pot of gold is always in sight,
Sometimes it's clear as day or well hidden at night,
The sole motivator is freedom, galore,
And the ability, without reason, to search and explore,
Because one thing is apparent, above all else,
They'll be damned if they make money for somebody else.

Hundreds of hours for a moments exposure,
When so many doubt you passion lifts helps composure,
Make sure shop looks fit,
nice and neat,
Bottles straight,
service cant be beat
Customers walk in
always greeted with JOY
Go the extra mile
No strings attached or extra ploys,
40 hour workweek?
Haha, that's for wimps,
Following a dream makes happiness,
That's a hard concept to grip
Financial stability,
At some point it hits,
The Pros always manage,
They tread along with the grit
Entrepreneur Spirit,
I learn the game I learn smile I learn the pace most reward is passion,
Late hours early morning please of a tone a glory of a home,
Just to know what is your is your gratitude like cloud to a moon,
Words and gentles take aim like fat back to pan where all home,
Those days of stress that conflict like a comb to a threat,
Keep moving it through Keep moving to good news,
If subtle ageism and blatant ageism plague I have to keep one thing in,
Mind what is it I want out life,
I have to keep moving Entrepreneur Spirit,
It would be nice one day work for myself,
Entrepreneur Spirit.
She liked being her own boss
It suited her personality very well
Coming in at your own hours,
occasionally taking a nap when you chose to
Surf the latest fashions,
scroll through the top trending news
Nothing like having your own business,
it's even better when it becomes a success
As an intrepid entrepreneur,
just another day in the life
She enjoyed making the fresh bread,
she enjoyed holding the butter knife
Spreading the wealth
gave her much satisfaction
Treating her employees good
was the ultimate euphoric lift
Shopping at the free market
is such a volatile affair
Things don't always go as they should
Bids accepted, bids denied;
some days she won the contract,
some days she was miffed
But making her own decisions everyday,
was like each day giving herself a gift
As an intrepid entrepreneur,
she enjoyed tasting the frosting,
she enjoyed cutting the cake
She enjoyed setting her own clock every daybreak
A tribute to my beloved sister Patrice
How do you define it, Sir
What, I asked
Knowing I was better than a pronoun chaser
Entrepreneur, he replied
Everything to gain and nothing to lose, I said
That is the only man that takes risks
Defying laws and regulations
On the blind side
Breaking codes and rules
To pile up pockets full of pence
And then at the narrow pinnacle dares
To erect a fence
As if to hide the greedy evidence
Read carefully
For the first part is an observation
And the second part the hesitation
That separates all of us
I onced searched my pockets all day
To find in them only dust.
I LOVE TO HANG OUT IN THE ISLANDS SAILING WHERE EVER IT'S HOT
CAPTAIN AND CREW ON MY SCHOONER GOTTA MAINTAIN MY YACHT
I HAVE SOME BOAT NYMPHS, BLONDES WHO CAN PLAY
HANGING OUT TOPLESS ON MY DECK ALL DAY
I'M JUST A SAILOR HIGH ON THE BREEZE
GOING WHERE I WANT, DOING WHAT I PLEASE
LOAD MY YACHT WITH COLOMBIAN HIDDEN IN A PHONY FUEL TANK
SAIL RIGHT INTO MIAMI, THINK I'LL BUY ME A BANK
OPEN A RESTAURANT, THAT'S WHAT I'LL DO
OR MAYBE A BOUTIQUE OR TWO
I'M JUST A PIRATE TRYING TO SCORE
REMEMBER ONLY SAILERS GET BLOWN OFF SHORE
IT'S NOT JUST A JOB IT'S ADVENTURE
DEALING TO THE RICH AND THE POOR
I'M A TWENTYFIRST CENTURY LEGENDARY
ALTERNATIVE ENTREPRENEUR
LIFE IS FLEETING AND LOVE SLIPS AWAY
AIN'T THAT REASON TO BE HIGH ALL DAY
LIFE'S TOO SHORT TO BE WASTED
AND POVERTY SUCKS THAT'S MY CREED
ALTHOUGH I LOVE SLOW DANCING
I MUCH PREFER TO DO SPEED
MY NEXT ADVENTURE IS COMING TO ME
LOAD A THOUSAND KEYS ON A DC3
THAT'S WHY I HANG OUT IN THE ISLANDS
SAILING WHEREVER IT'S HOT
CAPTAIN AND CREW ON A MAXI
GOTTA MAINTAIN MY YACHT
WIND AND WATER AND THE SUN IN MY FACE
I'M JUST LUCKY TO HAVE FOUND THIS PLACE
I'M JUST A SAILOR TRYING TO HAVE FUN
YOU WANT PARTY FAVORS, BABY I'M THE ONE
He wrote a big sign pointed to the sky
Aimed at space ships just passing by;
All Alien life forms catered for, it said,
Full English B& B with King Sized Bed.
He didn’t think about it any more
Until the slosh came at his door.
Standing there with a large suit case
A column of water with a vague face,
Which sort of said in a rippling way
Is the bed still vacant just now today?
Full English breakfast would be so good
Four sausages please and some black pud.
He tried so hard and did his best
And he passed some form of test;
Only an official from Galaxy Northern HQ
Who just happened to be passing through!
He got Five Stars and One Anchor rating
With special mention of the catering.
He can charge astronomical rates
To that official and all its mates
Who tend to drop in from the sky
When they happen to be passing by.
His story doesn’t just end here:
Galactic Entrepreneur of the Year,
He’s opened up a brand new place
Just on the fringes of outer space,
Which won Nine Stars for being so cool
For providing Chess and Eight Ball pool
With special facilities for those not able
To properly stand and reach the table
And something really very new
A fully adjustable billiard cue
So much better than the norm
For adjusting to Alien Life Form.
Here endeth this tale on such notes of joy
Concerning success of made good local boy
In 1994 Jeffrey K asked his company for a raise, a hundred dollars or more, probably in the least.
He had been instrumental at creating The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, and Beauty and the Beast.
Company said no, so he rounded up Steven S and David G and they promptly formed their own studio.
If you have ever heard of Dreamworks, you know where this successful story is about to go.
A multi-billion-dollar company today that employs twenty-seven happy hundred employees,
His ex-boss is no doubt sorry that they did not try to keep their film editor, with a thank you and a please.
Amazingly, Dreamworks has cranked out fourteen of the most favored animated films of all time.
Shrek, Madagascar, and How to Train your Dragon, a series that has movie goers standing in a line.
This studio has been in business for nearly twenty-five years, with lots of ups, and nary a down.
Sometimes when you do not get satisfaction, you need to find the right people, so please look around.
When you are not happy, or the job is not right for you, worse you give them everything you can do,
If you do not feel appreciated, or you go to work feeling unsatisfied or bleak or blue,
You need to take a page out of this innovative idealistic man’s imperatively important book.
People are out there to appreciate and help you. But it is your choice to figure it out and take a look.
The rain flings itself
Against the chrome
Splatters and withdraws
To its prickly realm
Like the timid entrepreneur;
Who must slam stopped
Before the crowd
Whose audience rumbles on
Without notice
Who quickly gathers himself
And evaporates.

Entrepreneur set from the desperate 1800 eager beaver
not yet the over achiever men working their craft
yet keeping women in the pass creating shoes,
clothing, watches holding dreams in their heads
as this world change as each new creation take place
Now our new day entrepreneurs still have the
same goals and drive some has gone over the
top from ages six to seven too far from heaven
yet too young to dream too much is planning
and saying
It's good to strive to dream to have goals or
where would we all be just imagine this world
without our goal oriented inventors our destine
over lookers our seekers
We must continue to create to strive to
keep all of our entrepreneur spirit alive
He sits and plans with purpose and might,
Sowing seeds of progress, day and night.
Nurturing ideas for the greater good,
Empowering others, as he knew he should.
He embraces risks, undeterred by fears,
Balancing losses and gains throughout the years.
A leader he is, with responsibility embraced,
Guiding with wisdom, leaving nothing to waste.
Shouldering the burden of a visionary’s quest,
Sacrificing sleep and time to ensure the best.
He strategizes amidst challenges and strife,
Through thorns, lightning, sun, and storms, he thrives.
His workers are cherished, their well-being esteemed,
His head held high, heart filled with pride it seemed.
Turning impossibilities into glowing light,
In darkness, he sparkles, a beacon shining bright.
A moon in the sky on a lonely night’s glance,
Many seek his support for survival’s chance.
Truly, he’s an entrepreneur beyond compare,
Facing risks head-on, with audacity to dare.
Allowing himself to be consumed by flames,
To emerge anew, bearing success and acclaim.
He strives to bring utopia to this Earth,
Chasing his dreams, for they possess great worth.
Even in the face of the impossible’s call,
His indomitable spirit continues to stand tall.
For his life is a journey, an unwavering song,
Where passion and purpose eternally belong.
A recent share on a post, that is so relevant to poets writing in a world seeped in instant self gratification.
Title.
The Entrepreneur
(A lone voice whispers)
We do what we do, because we are old school
Inspired by the likes of visionaries such as, Michelangelo or, Vincent van Gogh
For in a modern world driven to seek immediate validation, and the trappings of success
We may be becoming a rare breed
For deep down, we know this unconditionally
Unconsciously
We are a work in progress
We who do the hard work constantly, through patience, and resilience
We know we will eventually see the journey has been worth it
As we are blessed
When the world eventually sees or embraces our portfolios
For that immense need driven by relentless consistency, patience, and resilience
Will eventually knock on a certain door to be opened by us

"For the brave
Who conquered the Lands of Broken Dreams filled with Regrets"

I'm so incredibly proud and privileged ,
to be recognised by the #GBEA '25 team,
The fact that I've been shortlisted,
Is far beyond my wildest dream.
Single mum to three wild boys,
They're the apple of my eyes,
I'm the founder of Lotus Poetry,
A new and upcoming social enterprise.
I'm running on purpose and passion,
Lots of caffeine, kindness and care,
But I'm really struggling to find,
The funds to get me there.
Real life isn't like a fairytale,
This Cinderella is doing her best,
Working hard to find a way,
To attend with all the rest.
Where I get time for me,
It's not often that I do,
I hope I make it work,
So my dream can come true.
A night off from the boys,
So I can drink and dance,
An opportunity to meet you all,
Thanking you for this incredible chance.
