Best Easy Come Easy Go Poems

Easy Come, Easy Go

I bought a lottery ticket
I told the cashier - "Just pick it,"
I was surprised when she said,
"If you win, we'll go to bed;"
now all my cash is gone - "Frick It!"

You perforate my normality
with snap-shots of the past.
Images of yesteryear form
a slide show which interjects,
dove-tailing, sneaking in to
the now with the stealth of
the stealthiest fox.

Distracted from the present
my mind meanders down-stream,
pausing at a bridge arched over now
and then. Remembering when I was younger,
carefree, flitting between hearts,
scattering the lovelorn in my wake
like sown seeds, lost, never harvested.

Then flippancy of youth. The transience.
Easy come easy go -
before the burden of emotion takes its toll.
My fickle fingers touched your heart -
then dropped it, hot potato-like;
craved for then petulantly discarded,
out of fashion, gone, onto the next .....

Yet here you are merging then with now.
You found me somehow, and I you.
Back to the future. Time travelled
and catapulted into familiarity.
The perforation of normality.
Present in the present with the steel
of the steeliest fox.

Easy Come

always ready to jump the next train
catch the next flight
looking for a life to blame
and I'm sorry every time
Especially this time...

treating you as easy come, easy go
but you're not just easy go
for me
no you're not an easy go

please let there be
always
a tomorrow?
Like you said
always a tomorrow

very new for me
a colt that knows nothing
but feels everything
not sure how this is supposed to feel
but....it feels safe

I know I said you don't understand
but you do...
didn't give you my hand
for no reason
you do understand
better and quicker than anyone
was scared of making do with something that just doesn't
but this is different

won't treat you as easy come, easy go
you easily came
but you won't easily go
for me,
no you're not an easy go

please won't there be
always a tomorrow
like you said?
Always a tomorrow

Don't ever want to change your face again
like I did
when I said
what I said

I'm really going through it now
nothing to do with you...
so
Liebchen,
won't there always be a tomorrow?
Please and always say a tomorrow

Premium Member What You Will See

I don't know what I want to write
But I will write about see if you call it
Do you believe you will see if you call it?
You bet
If you don't believe you will see
You won't see it
Sometimes a thing is just so hard to believe
And that is when you need God's help
God sometimes can intervene in our beliefs
He is not going to leave you - cut and dry
Only humans will do it - some humans
And sometimes human would sometimes do things
God would never do
But that is another subject
Would you do what God do?
No
Then there
Don't try to guess what God is going to do
You would mess up
Because you can never do what God wants to do
He do the unhuman thing - the unbelievable
Unacceptable, incredible
Only He would know
So what is our job?
To do what we think
When God wants you to do something
He will let you know
Otherwise it's a slow ride - easy ride
Comsi comsa
Easy come easy go
Whatchamacallit
What's that?
Don't know
But it will come to me
On the go again.....

Monty's Sestina

Light the candles, or nevermind!
Burn the witch! Watch him go up in fire!
And now for something completely different...
I used to rule the world, seas rose with my word before I died
All elephants’ paradises one and the same
I’m bulletproof, nothing to lose this afternoon

Putting on my red dress for after the afternoon
Everyone is gay now, but nevermind
The broken smile on her face the same
As yesterday, taken away to the dark side of fire
You sung on radio, in video you died
And now for something completely different...

And now for something completely different...
Wilted roses filling our stage this afternoon
Easy come, easy go, your love all I wanted, I think I died
I’m locked inside your heart-shaped box, but nevermind,
Bringing me out the dark, starting in my heart, a fire
To stay up all night to have fun, up all night to get some, every reason the same.

We’re one, but we’re not the same
And now for something completely different...
I was born sick in the fire
Closing walls and ticking clocks in the afternoon
Polly wants a cracker? Nevermind!
I want to have control, to have a perfect soul. If only she died…

My shadow’s over you until you die
She tied you to her kitchen chair to make you the same
Bruises on your fruit! Nevermind.
And now for something completely different...
What’s love but a second-hand emotion for the afternoon?
Chinese psychic spies and silver-screen girls from Sweden in the fire

Why does the world say we started the fire?
Don’t they realize the music’s always died?
Why do we switch the channels every Sunday afternoon?
The candidates will always be the same…
And now for something completely different...
Oh well, whatever, nevermind…

Memoria, memoria, every afternoon; doused in bleach? Nevermind!
Gods’ minds aren’t fire, they’re ice; for them, every person is the same
You and I? We were born to die! And now for something completely different...

Focus

Focus…

I know it’s over but I don’t want it to end
I’m closing my eyes to try and live it all again
In this frame of mind scenes are leaving me speechless
And again just like the other night I’m looking for the words

I’m a mass of mixed emotion with too much happening at once
It’s easy come easy go for the pleasure to live
In and out of the darkness watch my energy surge and fade
You can look into my eyes and see the shadow rising

I’m breaking up and down, shredding up those nerves of steel
Can I break any new ground by telling you how I feel?
Neither happy nor sad, kind of numb without emotion
I’m very indifferent now,
And it has become very hard to focus

My Friend

Easy come, easy go
you came into my life
for what reason, i don't know
you put it down and I was like, whoa
then took advantage cause I couldn't say no
you knew what you were doing from day one
prowling for cougars in need of some fun
give em some dope dick and its about to be on
played me like an instrument to get what you want
anything you asked, I'd make it happen
I, your first mate and you were the captain
new castles, blunts, long drives, good music
the commerce casino and laughs
i didn't think to proceed with caution
but should have known it wouldn't last
because you met someone and fell in love
and rightfully so...that's how we became friends
and regretfully so...because now my only regret
is having to let my friend go because i miss him so!

Wasted Talent

dribbles tackles action home run
how often seen on the 10 o'clock news fame is the blame for wasted talent when given the chance
to make out the hood
and have the young look up to you what pride at what price to pay whats going on when the
dribbles and the tackles and the action and the home runs
are to much over your head all eyes on you at all times haters wating for your down fall wating for
your talent to be taken away given talent taken behind bars were is the support when making it all
the way
were are all your fans now when down and out they up and run we all fall short of glory not one of
us can say other wise when given a gift not to many posses we tent to go astray away from whats
real being real to your self is staying gold
easy come easy go just as fast it can all be gone from the spot light curtains downone more name
forgotten one more wasted talent

STAY AWAY JOE

EASY COME, EASY GO
AFTER GIRLS, GIRLS, GIRLS
WE WERE VERY IMPRESSED
BUT JAILHOUSE ROCK

Premium Member Happiness Versus Joy Continuum

HAPPINESS versus JOY CONTINUUM

Happiness is a fleeting emotion
easy come easy go
because it comes from
external sources
a favorite ... song,
or from
buying a new car, or designer shoes
then faster than a speeding bullet
your happiness … you lose
Happiness-- is external and transitory,
easily … evaporates

Joy— is internal, and alive
comes through a selfless spirit
Is an eternal source … of peace
Yes
Joy is an internal blessing
doesn’t leave undertrials
worthy of Godly … praise
leads to … everlasting life

The secret of joy is in the spelling- JOY
J—Jehovah- father, son Jesus comes first in your life
O—Others put before yourself
Y—You put … last
yes
I chose … Joy!

King Power Rhapsody Cover of Bohemian Rhapsody Lcfc

King Power Rhapsody -
printed by the Leicester Mercury after the victory against Chelsea before Christmas

Is this the real life? Or just a fox fantasy?
Man U now Chelsea, it's a Leicester reality.
Open your eyes, Look up to the skies and see,
We're not a small club, we need no sympathy,
Points are easy come, easy go,
We hit a high, hit a low,

Depends which way the wind blows
but Leicester's all that matters to me... to me.

Mama, we signed a man,
We paid a million for this guy,
At the time we all asked why.
But Mama, now he's scored again,
And that means that he's scored fifteen so far...
Mama, ooh, our expectations weren't this high
And if we don't top the league this time tomorrow,
We'll carry on, carry on as if nothing really matters.

Mahrez, his time has come,
Sent shivers down my spine,
Scintillating all the time.
Goodbye, Aston Villa, you've got to go,
Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth.

Mama, ooh (we play until the ref blows),
Lawro said we'd lose,
I sometimes wish he'd never been born at all.

I see a little silhouetto of a man,
Oh Special One, Special One, will you do the Fandango?
Thunderbolt and lightning,
But he's not even frightening me.
Ranieri, Ranieri, Ranieri Claudio,
Magnifico.

Claudio 'We're just-a Leicester, no-a-body likes us'
Mourinho 'They're just a small club, I don't like them,
and I haven't liked him (Ranieri) since we worked in Italy'.

Easy come, easy go, will the ref not blow?
We just don't know but we'll play until he blows,
the ref says no, we'll play until he blows,
the ref says no, we'll play until he blows,
we'll play until he blows
He'll Never, never
Never never blow
No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Claudio 'Oh, mama mia, mama mia
(Mama mia, let him blow)'
Then Clattenburg puts his whistle to his lips and we,
have all three...

So you think we're just Leicester and can't be this high;
but we're top in December and we could still buy.
We're just never gonna quit, and if you chat sh1t you'll get banged.....
Nothing really matters anyone can see cause we are Leicester City,
Yes we are Leicester City and we're top of the league.
(we play until the ref blows...)

Answer Me

Lost all my faith in men tonight.
Should I give up my dream of finding Mr. Right?
Tired of the games and the lack of respect being shown.
Oh God why is it so hard to find a man who is grown?
Tired of the guys who constantly spit game.
Tired of hearing them claim they aren't all the same.
None of them are original even though they all wish to be.
Why would I feel special with a man who's ran through many females before finding me?
Easy come easy go. I had to move around.
Can't let a man disrespect me and not stand my ground.
What is the point in having something if you have nothing to loose?
Even though I'm not broken hearted I'd be lying if I said my heart isn't bruised.

Tonight I Can Write

Tonight I am Jay Blue.
Tonight I smell of glue.

Tonight for you I am penning clues.
Tonight I shall paint more shoes.

Tonight I am like a fever.
Hence, tonight ourCup is over.

Tonight is never like before
Tonight is easy come easy go.

Tonight I am a lonely few
Tonight I don’t love you.

Tonight I am an open door
Hence, tonight I am a blessed whore.

Tonight I am not sane
Tonight I know pain.

Tonight I want more
Tonight I fail like never before.

Tonight I am your yellow kite
Hence, tonight I can write.

An American Story

World War II teachers taught children patriotism.
Now America doesn't instruct them
about that "ism."
Instead we debate if allegiance to the flag
is a worthwhile custom or merely a drag.
Americans must be politically correct,
but the President determines whom that can benefit.
Politicians are baking us a Marie Antoinette cake.
Don't be surprised about the Revolution that will make.
Is Social Security paying for our wars?
Is Social Security just a plan for the government to take
more?
The government's a clever, cunning songbird,
but when did worldly governments ever keep
their word?
What we have now is an America that's free
to watch its fiction on TV.
The American way off easy come, easy go
lulls many to sleep past the late, late show.
Reporters don't tell the truth anyway
so we turn off the lights and call it a day.
Listen, the American dream is dying.
In the doctor's back rooms, America infants are crying.
They crush them to pieces like so much dirt.
Alive, not full term.
Who cares if they're hurt?
Lust is such a twisted trap,
but we don't want our sons or daughters
to know about that.
Few people teach their children about God anyway.
The godless will burn our Bibles, one day.
God's left America. The facts are out.
We neither obeyed Him
nor realized
what God's freedom
was all about.
