Whether I Never Have You

I see you so clearly
it's as if you were on the other side
of my window pane.

We share the same pain and fears
we are both like children afraid
of needles in the doctor office.
But wipe the tears off your face.
I am here now.

I can't tell you how much I care.
To me your outside features
don't really even matter.
I saw rainbows after a heavy storm
when we exchanged words.

Around you I get so mixed up
like cake batter.
Your presence challenged everything
I once believed.
Like a mother giving birth
new ideas you concieved in me.

You showed me how the stars
could align in a different way.
I never once looked for you
and like they said you found me.

But I have to be patient with you
because you haven't yet realized
how good together our dynasties could be.

I have cultivated a plan to be friends first
we can paint each other slowly
and when we dry hopefully we end up
together.

I'm just glad I met you. Whether I never
have you or whatever.

The Great Wall of China

The Great Wall of China, was built brick by brick
Forced by the Emperor, to stop his country getting hit
After many states, warring for this land
The Emperor decided to take things in hand

Those dragon designers, the best in all the north
Scholars, mathematicians, and the farmers they bought
Observed the constellations and put these in the wall
Protecting China’s border, for one and all

Built by many different Emperors, over a long period of time
Repairing eroded walls and bringing new design
Rebuilt again and again, throughout history
By different tyrant Emperors, during their dynasties

The work began in China in two hundred and twenty one
Mimicking its border and the battles Emperors won
Fourteen thousand miles, weaving in and out
Armoured guards stationed at different points throughout

Winding, up ‘n’ down the mountains and the valleys low
Passing through the cities, what a wonderful wall on show
Preserving Chinese culture from invaders of its states
With twelve thousand watch towers, which it incorporates

The birth place of world war II
after an invasion void of any declaration.
Stamps on history’s book by feminine hands
to ascertain the first death sentence of the same human disaster.
A time frame marked its stolen identity
signifying its absorption into the world map
when three neighbouring nations rolled dices on its existence.

Roman Catholicism is advertised by the sun
in this place where it’s the pioneer of oil refinery
and the continent’s most important reproductive clinic
to border-crossing summer birds.
The father of Europe in king Kazimierz Jagiellonczyk
married off his three seeds of fertility
who were carrying rich humus
to the germination of Europe’s greatest dynasties.
Another king flatters history when he re-based back to his origin
to honour a coronation conflicting the poles’ election.

The heart of the world of European Jews
where their rescue during the holocaust was second to none
where the first artificial language, created and sustained;
and having a patriot decorated five times on physical masculinity.
It is the home to the famous Nicolaus Copernicus
and the birth place of the globally applauded Marie Curie.

The last will and testament of the expiring country
marks the first European constitutional state.
The underground salt cathedral is significant in its global age ranking.
The Bialowieza Primeral, epitomizes the continent’s last ancient forest
and the piwnica Swidnilka ranks the first
in the pride of the continent’s aged restaurants.
Its historic medicinal use of vodkas
and the blossom to the stem end direction
of peeling Bananas ready for consumption
beautifies the grit of a nation which stood firm
even after a forty and three attempts of invasion.

Premium Member Alexandria

Long before Babylonians, Assyrians, Persians and Greeks,
Before Hammurabi, Sargon and Ramses ruled
The world below their feet;
Before biblical scenes and mythological dreams
Of magical carpet rides,
I knew you back then
Where sea breezes begin
And history was a gleam in your eye...
Alexandria, Alexandria, city of pleasure and pain,
They called you Ricotis as I recall
Earth Mother once called you by name.
Nestled on the Mediterranean Sea of monsters,
Pirates and explorers renowned,
You were not much more than desert floor
Until the conqueror came to town.
Alexander, Alexander, God-man, ruler-thought divine,
Sailed by your winds where the world begins
And knowledge was born and thrived.
In the halls of those palaces and places
He built from his own vision quest,
To rule a world of enlightened beings
Where all people could achieve their best.
Though he never quite saw your white marble walls,
With pillars of gold and blue;
Of the Serapeum filled with scholarly souls
Recording their own world view.
He never knew Pythagoras, philosopher, scientist extraordinaire;
Or the historians Philo and Josephus
And the volumes of memories they shared.
The early Christians, Church Fathers and Saints
Origen, Clement and Mark;
Alexander never knew what he finally did
When he gave you that worldly start.
You’ve seen the Pharos come and go,
Dynasties crumble and fall;
Romans and Greeks swept right off their feet
And Cleopatra’s castle walls.
Pagans, Jews and Christians too
All vying for your love;
As whispering winds of Freemason friends
Tell of Hermes below and above.
While Islam and Mohammed rule
In the shadow of the Sphinx,
Pyramids and temples filled with hieroglyphs
And obelisks that make you
Stop and think…
Alexandria, Alexandria, city of pleasure and pain;
So little I’ve spoken about you today
Compared to all I’ve gained.
Since the first day I once met you
In that dream so way back when…
Alexandria, Alexandria, so glad we’re still
Good friends.

Brobdingnagian people of wealth
Possessing sinewy warriors of health
Brawny nature makes empires shiver
City wall stronger more than ever.

The people of great black magic
Though they are meek
Gallant like the pride of barbados
They brought glory to us.

Their food, culture, tradition and music
Known all over the world like Sikh
Great Empire Dynasties of Oyo, Ibadan, Ife, Owu and Ogbomoso.

Hoodie

I've got my earphones on
My hoodie says billabong
Writing lyrics about her while playing my favorite song
All the right moves like
Mahjong.
I'm weird so if she's the girl I'm King Kong
Okay okay that sounds so wrong.
Love is a game maybe ping pong.

It's raining notice the high seas?
Have you seen a beauty like this?
I think that she's a Pisces
She's in dreams and memories
Classic like the Asiatic Dynasties
See her in my dreams or maybe some prophecies.
Medicinal like pharmacies
She makes fire Prometheus.
She's law like Archimedes

She's unique
A rare commodity
Elegant lady
The essence of true beauty
Heart of the city
That would be she
If we were together I would be the he
But she's pretty so believe me
I'll go further and show a picture just see
Introspective like a soliloquy
Write poetry
To express emotions and visions non verbally
Adjectives describing her beauty
Make you see
That I am a visionary
Words are like hands that touch your heart but not physically
My words are laced passionately
Showcasing her superior quality
Lyrically
Inter dimensional beyond 3D

I wanna be her first samurai
Her love is up above just look at the sky
Maybe i can be with her if I try
She's so pretty oh my.

Premium Member The Beast Within

I've seen anger
and power
morph into hate.
And nations crumble
under siege,
when religious zealots
free the beast within.
And the blood flows red,
as Death demands an
exorbitant toll
for the fallen soul's
passage into heaven.
The very wealthy
build their dynasties
by grinding the bones
of naive idealist
and the pious,
into the mortar
for their monuments
and crypts of stone.
The apocalypse,
a Martyr’s dream,
or reality’s
nightmare?

The Multi-Tasker

"The Multi-tasker"
by: Eric L. Boddie

I am easily described by dynasties, empires, cultures and art
Though I am, at times, hard to see like Beauty in a hateful heart
Ladies call me a curse, but because of me, they are the most Blessed
Because if I leave, then a nine month me begins its progress
I am a gateway to connect with another when you get lonely
Whole World With me, that's how you start, only
If I levitate above myself, I become where humans send waste
But if I hover above my dear sister, then I am reduced to a portion of my grace
If you suspend a straight line directly over me, I will EXCITE your every Win!
Everybody knows me because without me, you will never see the end

Premium Member Addiction

My fractured and wounded spirit has wandered off course.
I have relinquished everything to a disreputable source.
In the vessels holding pyres of sacrificial flames
are the ashes and cinders of prodigies without names.

All prospects and promises have culminated to an end.
The sum of production is reduced by a subtrahend.
A dilapidated castle results from wants unsatisfied.
A king is a vagabond with appearance undignified.

Greed and gullibility leaves an unsound foundation.
Adverse conditions have filled me with indignation.
Hopelessness and frustration render anyone with ennui.
Nobody hears the pleas for help coming from me.

If the future is deaf and blind from warnings by the past,
no dynasties and empires can be expected to last.
Addiction to what is believed nectar and ambrosia
can lead a crowned fool to a borderless dystopia.

Pushy Parenting

You create them
You give birth to them
You nurture them
You raise them
All the while seeking to rearrange them
For you insist on always owning them

Kids are forever
Children are our saviour
Dynasties become prolonged
It is never best to have just one

Mirrors of one’s ambition
Apple of our critical eye
A mini me who is never contrary
A vessel to fill with my life plan
Someone to control till I die

Pride is king
The family name is nirvana
The façade of respectability must never crumble
All and sundry must toe the line
For the world must believe all in this household is fine

Be better
Be all we wish you to be
Attain heights we never grasped
Never let our ambition lapse

Caged and thus unable to be free
Longing for a faraway glimpse of liberty
Dying to show some level of individuality
A life on a road to eventual calamity

Secrets and hopes
Are encased deeply
In a psyche that aches gloomily
Insular and depressed
They contemplate university

They exist from day to day
Awaiting a long list of all they need to say
The dress sense must be perfect
Their manner never abrupt
Everything is done to give the family
A social step up

Grades must be exemplary
A career path must show economic sensibility
Friends must be vetted minutely
Who cares about your sanity
Do it all for our vanity

You can never grow up
We own you for life
Fly the nest and we follow
We are your bothersome shadow

Letting go is hard for us to do
When we made you
It was not only because we wanted you
Our future plans have always revolved around you
Smile and never let the world know
How dismally we have wrecked you

Those that must forever be
The centre of another’s world
Have a big responsibility
They are clones
And will always be second best

Ibis

Idolized by pharaohs, monarchs and kings;
Bird of the wetlands, marshes and swamps.
Interesting forager with long bill and stilted long legs;
Sacred icon of the dynasties of yore.

Premium Member A New True Dynasty

There are teams

There are great teams
Then, there are dynasties
In the world of women's sports
There have been few that measure up

To the 2019 USA Women's World Cup Soccer Team
Every one of these 23 talented women
Has been groomed for this purpose their whole lives
Playing, working, training, focusing, listening, watching, and concentrating

On ONE thing ... The World Cup Trophy
The pressure, rarely equaled, has been applied
The stories, countless and controversial, have been written
The stats, meaningful and managed, have been studied

The criticism, fair and false, has been aimed
The opponents, powerful and prideful, have been prepared
And the games, intense, exciting, and incredible, have finally been played
Now ONE team - one amazing team - stands alone atop the rest

Holding that storied golden trophy high ... high and noble and proud
Forty-six valiant hands that have set a new standard for sports
Not just women's sports, but ALL sports
A new standard for what it means to work and play as a TEAM

A new standard for excellence and class and athleticism
Congratulations and blessings to the USA
And the 2019 Women's World Cup Championship Soccer Team
A team for the ages ... a team for the people ...

And a dynasty, tried and true!

The Castle On a Hill

The Land Of Royal Monarchs

from the plains we see
the land of royal monarchs
perched on a hilltop

its architecture
draws us to the heritage
of the blue blooded

secret lives of kings
unveiled flamboyancy with
queens and courtesans

heirs of dynasties
dreamed treacheries and murders
as game for the throne

princely monument
in prime was bereft of love
now gardens tourists

A Womans Cry

Dynasties of radiance splash into a womans swimming pool of excellence a womans cry transforms failures into triumph, should i feel agony & defeat for the lost bondage of our love, does a womans cry begin to symbolize the sacred feelings hiding inside the belly of a mans lies, a queen at the throne was promised, i bear children in the midst of our fight for survival do you dare assassinate my worth, my conscious is a relentless drum at the mercy of ones entertaining commands listen to a womans cry, how do i remain steady when even i question my character, is it wrong to look towards the heavens seeking pity for not being your lone constant treasure, such a life grows deeper as i sleep but find not an eye full of rest, my heart is but a mere myth who will hear a woman cry, weary i crawl for the weight of your misfortunes too great to shield, my place as a mother weakend by your arrows of discretions, spare me of your tough ridges, rid me of your chaotic demanor, heal my wounded but not broken spirit from your barbariac abuse, sooth my emotions for empty i remain a womans cry
