Premium Member The Deepest Dwell

It has been one hell of a year for him,
so much denial
when propelled into the future
being he was forewarned as a youth,
‘it’s no fun becoming old’ by those
he would mimic as clowns
and now he, bemused while
floating within the mire of his misunderstanding.
There are reasons he is told,
although unsure he wants to know
when with one hand to grasp
at the life he once held,
the other besieged with tenacious pain
thrust into the unknown,
soon accompanied with his mind
to be totally immersed.

Premium Member In Darkness I Dwell

How long will this dreary night go on
Seems years since the dawn of morn
Why does anxiety keep me awake
What is this burden I cannot shake

Heartbeats too fast within my breast
Too quickly to grant needed rest
There's no moon above to cast light
This crepuscule gives birth to fright

I smell the wax of candles burning
but something keeps me from turning
If this be a dream, I pray, let me wake
for I've a thirst and hunger to slake

My eyes are open, and yet I cannot see
the willow outside; my weeping tree
"Fear not," I warn myself in voice aloud
the moon must be cloaked by a cloud

I call out for Davinia, in angst and fear
but my dear wife is not sleeping near
I long to glimpse morning rays of sun
Harried for never-ending night to be done

Only sleep could bring a measure of peace
and from shadowed night to have release
but I seen to be shackled to the beast
who fights the dawn's rising in the East

Of going insane, I fast approach the brim
tortured by thoughts, dark, dank and grim
Whispers I hear, mawkish murmurs dim,
"What will become of Davinia without him"

Who speaks of me in grammar, past tense
Someone who's lost all sentience and sense
Fragrant air 'round me grows warm and dense
Could that redolent odor be flowered scents

A memory haunts my sleep deprived brain
It's of a brutal nature, and cold falling rain
An act of violence, like the angry sin of Cain
A man's life taken; from a dagger he was slain

Motionless in rest, but not on my feathered bed
This unnerving moment is one I most dread
In a sepulcher, on a satin pillow, rests my head
In eternal darkness am I to dwell, among the dead

Premium Member Farewell I Go To Dwell

Under the awaking dawn
I sit, tracing the sea's yawn
Of innumerable sand grains,
Swell waves without reins.

Light scattering, exciting risin
Reflections off the horizon
The lull breeze caress silence
Like your arms once presence

Held me tightly in its embrace.
Tho, I still, you I chase.

Bragging to the stars I dwell
The last time I saw you- Farewell,
I said against you I did whisper
In a faint whimper.

Your last kiss
I do miss

5 Words To Dwell Upon- 5 Words Contest

(5 Words to Dwell Upon)

Though once I was homeless,
 Twas my diagnosis,
That I might once again rise form the ashes like the phoenix.

Though did I rise again,
 Twas more like a butterfly,
Lifting itself from a dandelion after a long respite.

The world has spun out of it's axis.
Gibraltar is crumbling down below.
Sequential order
Scattered to the four winds;
E n v e l o p e d
In the conflagration of chaos.
Oh, trouble...
Once again, you greet me
From the stygian abyss.
You beckon from the hopeless place
We departed,
But I must refuse you.
I've drifted away from you
Like tendrils of smoke.
It's too cold and isolating
Where you reside;
I'm afraid I can no longer be
Your ally in loneliness.
I choose to dwell in the clouds
Where the sun shines brightest.
I'd rather float up here
With hope
As you lie in despair's ruins.
I'm comfortably at home
In my meridian splendor.

WHERE NO ILLUSIONS DWELL

My Heart pours out remnants
of nothingness as I create in
                  form from Universes unknown
Union becomes Duality
a dash between birth and death
                   then disappears back
to Source from whence it sprung
for to remain in form is to be captive to
                                            space and time

So does Purity only live
              where no illusions dwell
in super seconds of no boundaries yet no escape
                   frequencies of freedom fashioned
timidly we taste
It remains a shadow we all chase in our
thousand million moments to bring
Heaven down to Earth before we are called
back again bowing —— b u o y a n t l y !

Happy Home

I dwell in a pretty home
Filled with fragrant emotions
Beautiful days pass as foam
Endearing enchants our fashions.

Home of ours, built with hopes
To dine without any unpleasant worries
Every brick earned of hardest sweat
Tied us with love, without wearies.

Sand and bricks blended with water
To give life to our family home,
Emotions enchants in our blood
Spreads love in the wind and foam.

We share our sorrows and pains
As our love filled in blood and veins,
We dwell under one roof of love,
Fills our home with pleasant sounds.

We lack in earning but not in love,
We cherish our joy with earnest smiles
We are the jewel of our little home
Delighted to live in our HAPPY HOME.

For Maureen McGreavy's MagiCicada 13 - Body and Mind Poetry Contest

All my life I struggled with counting calories, different diets, etc. When I stopped stressing and just emphasized in my life consuming more salads & other veggies, particularly at dinner time, I got much better results! My tip for those interested!

I Dwell In a Magical Place

My mind dwells in a magical place of tranquillity
where I ride on carpets of love
my thoughts in spheres of wholesomeness
Cylindrical upright tunes echo through valleys of angelic light
Their high pitched praises as the gentle breeze from their motioned wings sooth my soul
A fever of utterances echo from my core
as lilac rays illuminate mountain tops and sky
how can I not love Divine Oneness of my Lord
He is the true love few realize that they need
Since before creation the flow of springs that entwined all beings
A sea of frequencies
My mind dwells in a magical place of tranquillity
where I ride the magic carpets of Divine Love

Premium Member Human Nature

natural forces, living things dwell, spawn
azure dome masks the sky, Her layered veil
magenta-tip magnolias Her lawn
whimsical Mother Nature, sings a tale

ancient as sage, sea salt, oma, grand ’mere
cradle us asleep, with your gentle waves
majestic sails, devoted seas adhere
protect us from your sprinkled sandy graves

mother us with breeze kisses, cool us down
giving what is needed through the seasons
then material waste clogs, makes Her frown
mankind’s catastrophic way, what reasons?

the destroyers of water, land, and air
will harmful ways ever end, can’t be sure
watching what has been done, for She is there
always greed, for this is human nature

Life can be so very sad,
sometimes making me mad.
I am missing my dad,
when you were here I was always glad.
At times like this,
I Choose To Dwell In The Clouds~sending you a kiss.
Life can be so very happy,
sometimes making me sappy.
I Choose To Dwell In The Clouds of blue,
up here I have a great view.
I love to see the fluffy clouds of white,
hiding behind the sun so bright.
I Choose To Dwell In The Clouds light,
dwelling here makes me want to write.

In The Pantry Where Secrets Dwell
A story now I’ll softly tell.
Of moments lost to time’s embrace,
And passions found in hidden space.

A touch of hard, cool, and wet,
A memory of joy I won't forget.
With every glide, with every thrust,
It wakes the senses and stirs up lust.

On the counter top, a fiery sheen,
Reflects desires, pure and keen.
A silent partner at day and night,
Brings pleasure’s peaks, intense delight.

No judgment, just open heart,
Deeply exploring, every part.
With moans and gasps of glee,
It gets me slowly into ecstasy.

In the drawer, it might reside,
This trusty friend I do not hide.
For in its form, I find release,
A journey’s end, a moment’s peace.

So here’s to nights when shadows fall,
To moments shared, desires are small.
A wet embrace, a lover’s toy,
In a quiet room, it brings me joy.

Premium Member My God, Thank You For Letting Me Dwell In Your Will

January 12 Scripture Meditations Based on Genesis 37-41

Key Verse – Genesis 37:1 And Jacob dwelt in the land wherein his father was a stranger, in the land of Canaan.

MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME DWELL IN YOUR WILL

Thank You for letting me dwell in Your will’s promised land
Where You nourish me with Your loving hand
As You have dominion over me by Your peaceable command…
Make me give obeisance to You and Your demand.

Thank You for letting me dwell in Your will’s profitable contentment
Where You clothe me with Your comforting holiness-raiment
As You warm me by Your assurance-garment…
Make me stay under Your deliverance-settlement.

Thank You for letting me dwell in Your will’s protective righteousness
Where You guard me against fatal destructiveness
As You lead me toward truthful testimony in conquering foolishness…
Make me abide in Your wisdom of discernment and prudence-fullness.

Thank You for letting me dwell in Your will’s prosperous favour
Where You bless me with abundance favour
As You provide for me, bestowing me Your goodness in my endeavour…
Make me remain inside Your care around Your kindness-fervour.

Thank You for letting me dwell in Your will’s productive supplication
Where You answer me well with Your Word’s instruction and interpretation
As You encourage, inspire, and exhort me along Your gracious restoration…
Make me feast in Your presence, fellowshipping with You in jubilation.

Thank You for letting me dwell in Your will’s powerful authority
Where You direct me to Your kingdom’s plenteous service-bounty
As You control me with Your Spirit’s certainty…
Make me trust You and Your heart for my faith’s increase and maturity.

Why Do You Dwell In My Heart

I know you love many things,
You need a lot of them,
Large, Broad, wide, vast,
Diverse, smooth and sublime.

Like every life
You also need a space
Boundless,
like the vast expanses
Of the boundless sky
over the desert
In the moonlit night.

In my heart,
A desert without you
There is but
Vastness of sand,
loftiness of cloud,
Pervasiveness of wind,
Boundless earth,
Wideness of vision and
Fickleness of mist.

The house you need
To accommodate you,
Whole of your desires, and
All of your pains and pleasure,
Is this heart with
Ascent of limbs,
Broadness of mind,
Calmness of composure,
Depth of looks,
Smoothness of breath,
Sublimation of soul-
Without a border,
a barrier, a severance,
a hurdle or any obstruction
The kind of space
You would love to have.

The magnanimity of
Spacious, distant sky
would clear up the
Dust of annoyance
At your heart.
The dream in my life
Will be a sand bank
A couch for you
To repose upon.
The thread of your fantasy
Will find a spool of cloud
To wind around
The orbit of my thoughts.
The cascade of your
Lofty sentiments
Will attain an altitude
To pour down like the
Droplets of rain.
And this is why you would
Dwell for all eternity
Within me and
My heart-
A holy shrine for your soul,
A wide global vision for your eye,
A perpetual abode for your life and,
A sweet home for you as a whole.
