Best Drive Around Poems
Inspired By Angel Marie and
Her Poem "Crazy Love"
She looked at me with tear filled eyes
And said that we were through
Then walked away, from my love
There, was nothing I could do
Now my fright, grows strong at night
I pray that she is near
To think she might, not return
Is now my greatest fear
I drive around, while on my cell
But she's nowhere in sight
Worried sick to death
I hope that she's alright
Perhaps she's leaving on a jet
She may be going home
I fail to see what this has done
But leave us both alone
The songbirds are plentiful where I live in the middle of oaks
I had four birdfeeders, but white tail deer slammed into them
Until they broke into bits, for they were plastic and did not survive
As they were being deer-bashed against the trunk of these oaks.
To discourage the deer, I bought new metal bird feeders.
It brings in up to eight cardinals, and a blue jay daily.
Wrens, robins, sparrows, and wood peckers arrive before nine.
Rat-a-tat sound on my oak bark; I enjoy watching their heads bob.
My forest is full of tweets, peeps, whistles, coos, and caws
There is a huge the influx of crows, which I also welcome
Playful squirrels are fun to watch, but their fingers are too deft
Daily they unscrew the tops of my bird feeders, laughing at me.
Allowing all of the bird feed to land on the ground, in a clump.
Bottoms of feeders roll into driveway, so I have to drive around them.
A plethora of activity, a menagerie of lively animals including rabbits.
Sassy squirrels chastise me when I come out; thinking it is their yard.
The house I was born in,
used to stand right here.
I was just one more hungry child
destined to grow old and die.
Right here in this schoolyard,
I learned life’s valuable lessons.
The more you have,
the more you get,
the more you want.
Here’s the church,
that taught me,
no one cared,
about lost souls.
Only how much,
is in the collection,
plate.
This is the highway,
where I found out,
if I went too far.
I would never,
make it back.
No matter how hard I try
Trinidad girls
Meet a girl in Trinidad
She like to eat plenty pepper
But if you see the girl
She sweet like sugar
She likes to sing
And she can dance for so
She likes to go shopping
Gulf city and San Fernando
And she has a lot of respect
The girl is pure class
She says good morning
To every one she past
She likes to make chow
With half ripe mangos
And every Sundays with her mother
To the movies they always go
I seen a lot of girls in America
From the east coast to the west
But I have to tell you
Those Trinidad girls are the best
The Mexican girls are to feisty
Some does cuss for so
When ever they look at me
I just bend my head and go
The American girls are pretty
Drive around in their fancy cars
And almost all of them
Looks like famous movie stars
But some girls live in McDonalds
Them complains how they’re over weight
So they orders a diet coke
But the same food on their plate
The girls them from England
They are a little to cold
It will take a really hot fire
To try and warm their soul
There are some nice ones
You will find them in a bunch
Walking down London
Eating fish and chips for lunch
But I am a true trini
Like my roti and tomato
I like the old fashion girls
From Trinidad and Tobago
A girl picks cloths from the line
Fold and packs in a heap
Clean the front and back yard
Them go and take asleep
She boy friend don’t have much money
But he treats her very kind
In the evening they goes to naz cuisine
And have a very good time
Some girls are down to earth
Don’t like the glam and fame
That’s the kind of girl
I want to carry my last name
Please don’t get me wrong
Girls are beautiful all over the world
But some thing about them Trinidad girls
Is like mystery waiting to unfold
I am hurting can't you see?
How could you walk out on the children and me?
It was you who I gave all of my love, support and trust.
Now I am left here alone doing a job that was meant to be done by the both of us.
You promised you for us would be here.
I never thought you would walk out on me.
It feel like I have never known the one I believed in so much would walk out and leave his family.
How selfish you really are with no dignity at all; showing everyone who know us that you could really care less about our emotional scars.
You walk and drive around taken advantaged of how blessed you are with being capable.
The last thing on your mind is having the thought of whether your children will wake up to breakfast on the table.
I don't know how; but I know I will make it.
I'll keep pushing forward doing the best I can in moving on.
We drive around in a fancy car where are we going. Don’t worry it’s not very far we
drive and drive I don’t car I feel so alive. After the drive we finely arrive at the airport
where we will catch a plane in a short. On the plane everything looked the same I will
be glade when I get off this plane. Then maybe I will know where I am going and it will
not drive me insane. We go and go we never stop if I do not get off this plane soon I
will pop. Stop silly we are going home where we can forever Rome.
Pharaoh divine, Amenhotep the fourth,
Could explain very own Sphinx head of course,
Having anchored in Mars,
His head stares at the stars,
Made only Mars, no divinity source!
They say proof is always in the pudding,
Or to tell you this story I wouldn’t,
One day in precept’s cars,
We’ll drive around on Mars,
Viewing the Sphinx, the god head that couldn't!

Someone's at my kitchen door
I hear them gently knock
But it really is quite early
I look glumly at the clock
Who could be there waiting
Who would be about
I haven't had my coffee yet
It makes me want to shout
They must still be standing there
Again I hear them knock
I can't open the door like this
It would give them quite a shock
I haven't had my shower yet
And my hair is everywhere
I've just hurried out of bed
I'm looking kind of bare
I wish that they'd be gone from here
Once more I hear a knock
Why can't they just walk away
Or drive around the block
Oh, but now I'm wide awake
And it's clear they're here to stay
So I guess I'll quickly dress myself
...Welcome to my day
I drive around a bi-cycle
a cycle bike psycho
at night a light’s on
my-ma (ma) mountain bike
oh it’s a little delightful
my seat on my cycle
I ride all night on
my-ma (ma) mountain bike
I’ll jump the curbs in acceleration,
and pedal push to my destination,
don’t pay road tax, my declaration,
no f... that, drivers hold frustration
Oh
Oi
These trucks get way to close
thinking they own the roads
Woah
Oi
they test test test my nerve,
these flucking bus ankers
I drive around a bi-cycle
a cycle bike psycho
at night a light’s on
my-ma (ma) mountain bike
oh it’s a little delightful
my seat on my cycle
I ride all night on
my-ma (ma) mountain bike
dirty dank fumes got me spacey
light headed it sways me
others walk or run but I go this way
I like to ride my bi-cycle
I'm cycle bike psycho
all day and night on
my-ma (ma) mountain bike
It must be said, some mouth opinions
you cyclists all smell like onions
which is mean
so I thump them and nick their keys
I speed on
oi oi
and I say ha ha ha you cannot drive your car
they say
woah woah
as I fly fly fly fly over the handlebars
I crashed into an Aygo
a Toyota Aygo
the wheel's mangled on
my ma (ma) mountain bike
I wasn't looking where I go
when I hit an Aygo
so I'm in mourn for
my ma (ma) mountain bike
in a hospital room
going crazy
fresh air seems tasty
they say ha ha can't ride your bike today
I think karma's a bastard
it put me in plaster
and now they have to
ha ha (ha) help me s**t
ma (ma) mountain bike
(oh) mountain bike
(mountain bike) ohh

The Seasons
The changing seasons
—winter, spring, summer, and fall—
I love them all.
Variety is said to be the spice of life,
And I enjoy their arrivals and departures,
Each season unique with its own set of characteristics.
Winter presents a choice between cross-country skiing, slalom,
Or tobogganing down a hill; or snowshoeing in the woods;
Or staying warm inside while reading a good book;
Or going for a leisurely drive around town to see the Christmas lights
And enjoy the festive Yuletide merriment.
Spring brings the warm rains that freshen the Earth
When imaginations are set free after the winter pall,
And to lace up the sneakers after a winter spent in the gym
And go jogging outside to feel the wind in your face.
Come spring, love is in the air, and new life is born.
Sunny summer, breezy and warm, fills the days,
Lending decision-making as to whether to go biking or swimming,
Or to laze on the beach relaxing and suntanning,
Or to go boating or canoeing to fish and explore.
Summer is the season to visit kin and rest from work.
Fall is the harvest, whose abundance I’m thankful for,
When leaves change colour and scatter in the wind,
And walks in the forests are a common thing.
The days grow colder and the nights longer
As winter approaches and autumn ends.
Tactile oscillations that are caused by vibrating sound,
Crash into my eardrums until plugs for them are found.
Audible affronts to human hearing creates cacophony,
Someone says run for you life and that’s good enough for me.
The noise that’s being generated can bring damage to your brain,
They haven’t come to the chorus yet, they’re still playing the refrain.
I saw this band perform this once and many people died,
Their eyeballs melted on their shoes and then their brains were fried.
This has got to be the greatest concert that I’ve ever felt,
That guitar solo that he just played is going to raise a welt.
I can’t wait to buy this song and then drive around the town,
With the volume cranked up all the way and my windows all rolled down.

(Love)
I remember when I was thirteen,
And I met this girl Nicole,
And I thought I was in love.
My buddies asked me how did I know,
I replied,
She's such a fox,
She's got a great ass,
And she writes me notes in class,
We rolled together during couples' skate,
I walked her home, held her books,
God, I loved her looks.
I remember when I was seventeen,
And I met this girl Linda,
And I thought I was in love.
My clique asked me how did I know,
I replied,
She's such a beauty,
She's won't play dead,
And she won't throw me out of bed,
We drive around from beach to beach,
I drive her home, to see what's next,
God, I loved the sex.
I remember when I was twenty-one,
And I met this girl Livi,
And I thought I was in love.
My frat bros asked me how did I know,
I replied,
She's cute,
She's showers me,
And she calls me all day until 3,
We commute in order to satisfy needs,
I phone her home, and she seems pleased,
God, I loved the skiis.
I remember when I was twenty-four,
And I met this woman Lisa,
And I thought I was in love.
My friends asked me how did I know,
I replied,
She's magnificent,
She inspires me,
And I feel her deep inside of me,
We think and banter in parallel jest,
I set aside at times what I must feel,
In order for our paths to congeal.

Is it the early morn in a yellow field of corn,
Or could it be flowers with strange powers,
Or a stroll on a donkey chomping a carrot,
Or a baby pig in a pram, who would make
A tasty ham,
Is it when the clock strikes 12.00 for noon or
The long shadows in the late afternoon,
That I want to be with you.
Is it the starry sky with the milky way up high,
Or music of the Beatles that scream through,
An open window in the heat of the midday sun
Where a widow calls each man passing ‘Hey hun’,
Maybe the giant turtle that climbed up a tree,
Who was stung by a bee, or
The one eyed chimpanzee,
Who can no longer see,
Is when I want to be with you.
Watching people getting stoned, or
Really zoned,
Who visit a soup kitchen with their ex,
What could be worse, its dark, no light,
Just bad sounds in the night,
Criminals on the loose who own zero,
But drive around in a polished black limo,
And become the village hero,
Is when I want to be with you.
Peeling an apple that never ends or
Mashing mulberries for a murder scene,
But your hands now look blood stained,
Would Hercule Poirot have to solve this mystery,
From the books of Agatha Christie,
Bikini girls from Bay Watch,
A clown appears, puts a bomb down a
Cleavage, to which he is wired and strung,
BOOM BOOM BANG,
Glad I chose to be with you.
It's almost time for...
Summer
A time to be free
To go a little crazy
Push things to the edge
Longs drives around the town
Even longer nights around the bonfire
Hot guys and beautiful girls
A time for
Fishing
Camping
Hiking
Long days
And even longer nights
It's a time to ditch
The sweaters for tank tops
To peel of the jeans
And slip into some shorts
Feel the breeze caress your face
And flirt with your hair
It's a time
To fall in love
Kiss in the rain
Make new friendships
Create amazing memories
It's a time where all worry melts away
The winter blues are gone
Happiness is everywhere
Life all around
New life,color,sounds
Summer is a time to get lost
Take a road trip to nowhere
Just drive around
Take a risk
It's a time to love life and just
BE FREE!
It's SUMMER!
Rednecks and roundabouts, they don't mix.
Don't try and fool us with your media tricks.
We drive around the back roads throwing bottles at signs.
Your roundabouts make us slow down or the ladies spill their wine
