Soft

A space

Between the

Spaces where I find

You, breathless ... broken

Bare and beautied

Upon your reef

I am bound

In ruin....

Premium Member Through Cobalt Blues I Drifted
This journey of which you now read, happens to many of us
It's what happened to me, my thoughts through the waves in discuss

It was on a normal day, I was fishing on craggy rocks
When out of the blue it came, this wave and me became locked

Salted eyes and gasping for air, hazed glimpses of where...

Drifted Deep
Drifted deep in wintry dark
she's in decline, as useless
as a sailboat in a hurricane.
Once a haven for hikers,
a shelter for stalwarts and strays
'til the mountain gave summons,
now forlorn and disregarded,
like a maiden aunt, too old and without purpose,
though winsome in her former days
when she was quite the prize,
the belle...

Drifted Apart
WE USED TO BE SO CLOSE INSEPARABLE TIGHTER THAN ANY PAIR OF BLUE JEANS.

NOW WE ARE GOING DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS IT ONLY SEEMS AS IF WE WERE NEVER CLOSE.

IT SADDENS MY HEART TO US THIS WAY THERE IS NOTHING I WISH FOR THAN FOR THINGS TO BE THE WAY THEY USED TO BE.

I TRY TO GO...

Premium Member Below We Drifted
Holding hands, into our eyes we stare
As we turn to the bleak that awaits us there

Deafening creaks like thunderous roars
Her arching back in ripping soar

Screaming explosions as the waters seep
Tears of many as life ends their keep

Below the cobalt in a coldly drift
Sinking debris in continual shift

Our hands still held amidst disappearing lights
We no longer...

Drifted
She captured my heart with just a few words,
Trickling into my very core and rested there,
A special part of me that will never go,
I wish she could see that so much clearer,
To truly understand the methods of my heart,
She became a big part of my world,
Infiltrated and penetrated thoughts,
Drifted into dreams,
Came with me for walks...

Drifted Away
You promised you loved me with all of your heart,
I wish I knew it was all lies from the start.
My hearts scared from being broken and bruised,
From being cheated on, lied to, and used.
Crying myself to sleep many nights cause you were home,
Leaving me feeling unimportant, unloved, and alone.
We were once Bonnie and Clyde and...

Drifted By Feelings
Alone,
By myself
In a world so cold and so unknown
Nobody else
Knows the emotions that I know
Going from feelings like the roughest edges of the highest mountains
To the soft, mellow sounds of the river flow
Having some emotions embraced
And having some shunned
Having some friends to listen
To having none
My eyes sometimes glistened
From the heavy tears that fell
Trying to hide...

Drifting, Drifted
Did it happen; happening right now?
Will it happen?
Will the bond that was made so quickly,
deteriorate?
Deteriorate until its shattered and broken?
Broken and unable to be mended?

To be made anew, with vibrancy: filled with life?
To be like it was before?
This bond that was made in such a short time
period.
This bond that's... cherished?...

Drifted
Stoic,rigid,loving still.
Shaken,pulled,standing still.
Troubled, down-trodden,trusting still.
Broken,torn,firm still.
Tortured,violated,winning still.
Lacking, pauper,fulfilling still.
Aimless,wandering, covered still.
Woebegone,saddened, hopeful still.
Incapacitated, challenged,contributing still.
Obscure,wretched,worthy still.
Mirage,vague,concrete still.
Cajoled,swindled,resourceful still.

All of these, many are being drifted.
The swerving sea weeds, all likened to.
One position,yet another,moved.
Their imbalanced state,amidst .
Sea weeds sprout largely
with tentacles spread across
and bases firmly rooted in the sea....

Premium Member Drifted Sand
The wind, careless in its airy freedom,
Feverishly furrows the prairie grass.
With a cry like a lost spirit, it winds
And wails through leafless trees and toothless fence
To vent its eager force upon the boards
Of a lonely, weather-beaten farmhouse.

Afternoon sun shines ashen and mottled,
In slim slanting shafts, through a smoky pane,
Opaquely painting a penumbral room.
Dust motes dance...
