One day there was an accident, and to heavens gate I was called.
As an angel sat down beside me, upon the bed I had been put upon.
Such a shining warmth ensued as it held me in its thrall.
A thought from God proclaimed, “What with your life have you done?”
Then all of life fled past me, but not as I did expect to see it done.
For all I saw and felt were things I hadn’t known I had done, and yet…
So much pain inflicted to each, with such little words and thoughts.
I never would have known such power, by one person, could be wrought.
I bowed my head in shame at the pain I knew I could not undo, yet…
Suddenly, I found myself forgiven. Yes, TRULY it was true!
Hallelujah became my amazed and impassioned cry before him, that night!
His warmth had never wavered, nor even his illustrious, wonderful light.
How could he forgive me, someone as wretched and lowly as I?
And yet, he did… and so he changed my life from then on out.
But low and behold he wasn’t yet done with me, or so my story goes…
He sent me back to my home again… it in comparison brought me low.
But he said my work lay uncompleted, so now I must go back…
He said to stay clean and I would blossom… What do you think of that?
A veil he placed upon my eyes to remove me from the knowledge of all I’d known.
Then he sent me from his side, where I could not see him but knew he was.
Now, here I stand before you, a totally changed and humbled one.
Still, I have found I have sinned again… I know he must have known.
Perhaps some day, as I patiently wait… I’ll be allowed once more within his gate.
Only time will tell, as again I’ll feel every ones pain…
All I can say is: God Forgive Me… as I continue to wait…

(This Near Death experience really happened and changed my life.)

Doorway to dreams that decorate slumber,
Is entered by minds letting go.
Drifting through spaces and mythical places
Flirting with fear and incredible chases,
Down long empty hallways and up endless staircases
In search of the answers we know

Then flowers of fantasy brilliant and fair
Blow all their rare petals to dismal fields bare

Pull back from the snake whose bite isn't real
Watch for the enemy close at your heel
All is in blackness nothing to feel
Float upwards and upwards beyond, danger's way
Plunge suddenly, swiftly to cold light of Day

The Doorway To Dreams

"I open the door and cross the threshold of imagination"

                                                          Here
                                                         Inside
                                                       I can see
                                                 Untamed beauty
A place of true hope and of perfect peace
A wondrous world where love conquers the hate
                                                    Refuge is found
                                                      In still night's
                                                         Within
                                                         Dreams

                                                                               Desires
                                                                               Resting
                                                                               Earnestly
                                                                               Amidst
                                                                               Midnight
                                                                               Slumbers

   Petitioned upon pillows
   Daily devotions
   Confess sleep’s supplications

Heaven's Doorway

Not just what I expected but beyond
Scenery so appealing there’s no word to describe this
No such thing as uncomfortable or timid
Only invitation, simplicity, liberation, amusement, the works!
Each breath makes me feel brand new
Each footstep encourages me to glide, skip and wiggle my toes even
Sounds blended hitting the ear with confidence
Perfection knows no sharps or flats
Life’s weight lifted from these bodies revealing immaculately beautiful souls
This land has no hierarchy, no worry, no schedule, no walls, no ceiling
Just foundation
That foundation is God
It’s no wonder these souls can fly!
And all of this I’ve seen as I make my way up the steps
To Heaven’s Doorway

As I leave this earthly realm
I travel high above the stars
An unseen celestial pilot at the helm
A vision of a mist from afar

In the clouds light years
from earth, I come upon a set of stairs
I ascend even higher than before
And finally the Pearly Gates!...Heaven's Door

The light I see is a pure, perfect light
I genuflect in awe of this sight
Then I wondered if my name is even in the Book
I approach meekly and the angel takes a look

The angel slowly flips the pages
I start sweating as my mind engages
All my sins flash before me too
I'm hoping that mercy will see me through

Finally the angel calls my name
The joy I feel,... words cannot explain
I enter through the gates and see my mother's brothers
They hug me, I am overjoyed to also see my grandmother
Joyful tears and hugs flow as I see many others
A feeling of perfect peace comes over me
It's as if I am a brand new person, sinless and free

The I hear my sister call my name
I run and kiss her, she was so glad I came
Friends and family from way back when
It was heavenly to be together again
And we sang everlasting praises
To God, whose grace eternally amazes

Loves Doorway...

I was reading the paper...
in the green room,

you walked in the door,
I didn't know you, yet,
of you I wanted more...

excited, elevated, sexual tension-
this spark, this feeling,
sent me reeling...

uncompromising, release...
nearly, thirty moons on, you still
give me this charge-my sweet
tease...

more experienced, this feeling
lasts longer, stronger, powerful
sweet interlude,

...my only one, we delight in sharing
this mood...

woman, you make me
...for days on
end I carry round...this payload,
take it from me before I drop,
this love exploding
I'm going to pop...

I am intoxicated in your kiss...
you are my love promise...

you removed the locks,
on this loves' doorway...

this love destined, to rewrite
the truth, the ancients recorded
from above...historical proof...

all woman, who feel this and allow
truth to enter...live in lavish love
sweet, sweet, rare splendor

Death Is Just a Doorway

START

Death is just a Doorway

I see death as a doorway to a timeless place in space
Where souls have a chance to rest, away from the human race
Spirit will guide you there and make your resolve stronger
So when you choose to be reborn, you'll be wiser and live longer

To have faith in yourself is a lesson to be learned
Where your light shines from within, but this must be earned
By shedding layers of selfishness, greed, or perpetual longing
Or searching for yourself through others, in the hope of belonging

I see Eternal Light, now, as clear as the brightest star
It's a prism of pure colors, reflecting so very far
This light is simply energy - a matter of vibration
Where the cycle of life and death is one grand celebration.
                                     oOo

Eyelids heavy with tears,
begin to form
from puffy grayish/black clouds.

It moves cunning and swift
like a lion’s roar
then softly on tired- padded- paws
it is gone,
gracing the terrain
with its magnificence.

Its door opens to a momentous
reception,
a welcoming grand appearance
of a new year
a new beginning
when the door opens…

Heavens Doorway

Heaven’s Doorway

Heaven’s Doorway is open wide
All are invited in.
There’s just one prerequisite—
To be free from the taint of sin.
God’s love and mercy
Provides the appropriate attire;
Your surrender is all you need;
The faith that leads you higher.

Heaven’s Doorway leads to happiness
And joy forever and a day.
With streets of gold and beauty rare,
Waiting for all in array.
The grass is so vividly green
And the beautiful flowers never die.
There’s no sickness or depression—
No curse of sin’s the reason why.

We’re all invited to the banquet
Before Heaven’s Doorway will close.
Don’t reject your invitation,
Until entrance does foreclose.
After midnight there’s no more entrance
To enter the wedding feast above;
The majority will be on the outside,
Should they not accept God’s love.

Heaven’s Doorway is still open
And you are welcomed in.
This is your invitation—
Heavens Doorway to find within.
Heaven is full of happiness
And great joy will fill your soul.
Enter Heaven’s Doorway;
Your body and soul made whole.

Doorway To Seduction (Inspired By To Have and Have Not)

You do know how to whistle, don'tcha Steve?
You just pucker up and blow
And watch as her lips mimic the passion of a Siren's kiss.
You do know how to whistle, don'tcha Steve?
Just whistle to summon a Jezebel's gift of lustful bliss,
And send faint heart to places it always feared to go.
You do know how to whistle don'tcha Steve?
You just pucker up and blow.

This long journey has lasted a lifetime.
And I’ve stopped many times on the way.
Taken detours I’m not very proud of.
Some that led me a little astray.

Now my travels have all been concluded.
I have finally reached the last door.
Will my spirit be cleansed as I enter?
Like the ocean waves clean up the shore.

There’s a peacefulness floating around me.
A strange mist that obscures a clear view.
And a light up ahead shining toward to me.
Like a signal that’s coaxing me through.

There’s a warmth that surrounds me so sweetly.
And it’s lifting me close to the light.
I am not really sure how I know it.
But I feel I will soon be all right.

While I stand to be judged for my actions.
I recall all the good and the bad.
All the love that I gave and was given.
Every sorrow that I ever had.

Will I be reunited with loved ones?
Are they waiting on the other side?
Do they know that I’m coming to join them?
For this final and ultimate ride.

Doorway To God Heavens

THERE ARE MANY DOORS THAT ARE OPEN
AND THERE ARE MANY DOORS THAT ARE CLOSED
WE OFTEN WALK THROUGH THE WRONG DOOR
THAT LEADS US DOWN THE WRONG PATH OF LIFE

MY REDEMPTION I OFTEN TAKE
WALKING THROUGH A DOOR THAT
LEADS ME TO DARKNESS OF MY OWN MIND
I FEEL TRAP IN A DIMENSION THAT ONLY
GOD CAN UNDERSTAND AND HELP ME OUT

THE DOORS ARE LOCKED
AND THE DARK GETS DARKER AROUND ME
I HEAR STRANGE VOICES CALLING TO ME
TO STAY THERE BE AFRAID
I WONDER DO MY MIND GOES INTO INSANITY?
OR IS GOD TELLING ME SOMETHING?

I PRAY TO BE SET FREE
TO SEE LIGHTNESS AROUND ME
PRAYING HOPING, BELIEVING AND FAITH
THE DOORS OPEN AND
THE LIGHT IS LIGHTNESS TO MY EYES
FEELING UNSURE WHAT HAPPEN TO ME
I ASK GOD, WHY WAS I PUNISHED THIS WAY?
REALIZING I HAVE TO FIND MY OWN ANSWER
I WALKED THROUGH THE DOORWAY TO GOD HEAVENS
BETWEEN HEAVEN AND HELL

The Doorway

I’ve cut my hands on the broken screen door
of dreams meant to be deserted;
I can feel the rush of inclusion in a state of decay
as it gasps open against tucked in eyelids.
Smiles caught in dim headlights,
before the empty sway of drunken iron
drips from my palms as
inertia drives it all to fruition,
abstract revelations come to life.
My eyes stutter, fighting to
keep them alive.
I press reddened palms against
the dusty doorway, count in
cadence meant for a heartbeat,
and breath in harmonic patience
with something I wish I could understand,
but my sort of muscles are too weak to make an
impact, my palms have become imprinted with the wake
of trembling foundation’s sorrow.
               ….I look at them
pruned by the sour chaste of possibility;
rivers of emptiness run through my
own imperfections.
I’ve mended nothing.
they’re still…
cold.
These dreams are stone,
and I am only flesh;
Pounding my fists against a doorway
that has long forgotten I am here.

The Emerald Doorway

There lies a location with an Emerald Doorway
leading to a shared past.
Waiting for it's own children to visit.
We slipped thru the portal again this summer,
Jacquie, I and another child, her son Joe.
Immediately, I sensed decades of joy surrounding us
And heard the echoes of our horses hoofs
tamping down the path.

Undisturbed, the path lay awaiting our return.
Fertile earth delighting to feel our familiar tread..
The ancient beech, carved with our milestones,
stood sentinel over our clearing.
Sunbeams lighted the moss, remembering long
conversations.

Gnarly grapevines dangling memories of our Grasps,
ready to swing over the ravine, into our past.
Inviting us to a smokey treat, flavored by long ago.

A musical voice...the stream, called to our
remembering and our playfulness...
urging us to slide it blue-smooth slate
Among the creatures, salamanders, crayfish and
minnows, staring in wide-eyed wonder at seeing us again.
into our swimming hole, waiting to baptize us in
the wonderment of nature... to carry with us,
Our childhood home.
