Best Disowned Poems
What else is there left to say
Now that I’ve been disowned?
I can no longer call you my mother
Since this is no longer my home
Why do I stick around
And endure all of this pain?
Because my friends are my only family
That manages to keep me sane
They are the only people I can talk to
They’re the only ones that know the real me
They’re the only ones that see the good
That you’re too stubborn to see
6 months will come and go
and I’ll finally be free
I’ll be the one to decide
How much good there is in me
A friend gave a Xmas potluck,
I couldn't boil just water.
Took two pies for a buck.
Mother said I'm not her daughter!

Incompitance leading to my failure
Never justified by my right hand
And given the strength
To out do the other man
And bring him down
Just like I was found
With wounds and bleeding scars
As pain to my heart unaided
Left to bleed on my own
Finding out the hard way
That i had been disowned
Part of me wishes I knew what I've done wrong!
I ask myself everyday why my heart has to be torn in two.
The one thing that means the world to me,
No longer wants me in their life.
I'm toxic and don't know how!
I've worked so hard to get back what i had,
only for it to vanish into neverland.
I'm grieving over the lost,
But in reality their very much alive.
I've tried so hard to be apart of their life,
but in the end,
it wasn't good enough.
So this is what it feels to be disappointed in oneself,
and this is what it feels like to be disowned by someone you gave birth too.
This is a pain I never thought i would ever feel.
It's crushing with every single breath I take.
I just wish this pain would disappear.
Just vanished in the wind.
I pray to my angels,
to help me understand.
But even I don't think they have the answer's.
Part of me wishes I had the answer's to my own questions,
The only answer I can give my grieving heart,
Is the one I've always known and felt.
This disowned mother,
is definitely not wanted,
not loved,
is truly hated,
and won't be missed by any means.
So the torture will continue in my mind.
And life goes on unfortunately,
and my grief will get better in time,
But hundreds and thousands of years will go by,
and not one day will pass that i won't think of you,
or even tell the wind to carry my voice to your ears, and your heart,
to hear and know that i will forever love you!
your loving mother is always with you,
rather you care or not,
till my dying last breath.
How many ‘Likes’ do you have,
how many following “friends”?
How many empty conversations
how many times do you ‘check in’ ?
Walking by that nameless status
disconnected and disowned
Send me a photo I’ve got a pic
but not one you’d want mama to see;
Who cares what you have to say?
Send a body shot with the brain crossed out;
Control alt delete and disconnect;
What about a meme?
That’s an easy way to think;
Just a little funny, not too deep;
Give it a share, take it viral
How many ‘Likes’ do you have
disconnected from the truth?
How many following “friends”
disowned from the real world?
I’ll light new year candles of hope in dismal hearts dark and disowned

Not a danger this is the type of thing you expect from a stranger But close to home is where it hits don’t tell me a place in your heart is where my life sits
Yesterday we both could have became a memory, but all that mattered was you not loosing him instead of me.
Standing there in blood filled rooms with little attention to the injuries our body consumes
Listening to your screams of fright doing my best to try and get you out of sight
I stood there taking each blow
When it would end I did not know
I finally found my way to a phone thank god the other line wasn’t just a dial tone
The external wounds will heal but right now I’m allowed to feel
Stop thinking I just need to forgive and forget because the emotions haven’t even set
I’m going to have to be fixed by going back under the knife. How many more times before he actually takes a life?
I don’t bow to money,
I don’t bow to fame
I kneel to that one thing,
that time cannot change
I don’t speak for ‘right,’
and won’t speak for ‘wrong’
My liege is the truth,
all court jesters gone
I don’t hope to be knighted,
my shield more concave
And rejecting all title,
the past still enslaved
My will lay unbroken,
my heart for a throne
A crown jeweled with memory,
—all scepters disowned
(Villanova Pennsylvania: June, 2017)
The grace of god powered with wings
Slave everymore to these slights in time
No repentance from these virtual souls
Apart from the one
Beloved son exhiled and debunked
More human than angel
Less evil but more punished by being more human
Not the essence of evil
but its punisher.
The first risen voice
Did you dodge the bullet,
but not its intent
Is the ocean now calm,
as the storm reinvents
Have feelings rehardened,
with blood on the stone
Back to back with yourself,
—all escape you’ve disowned
(Villanova Pennsylvania: February, 2018)
Like leaves in the wind,
words scatter about
From the woods and high grass,
they call and they shout
“Come find us, come free us,
we’re out here alone
“The Muse has deserted,
—and left us disowned”
(Villanova Pennsylvania: April, 2017)
There is a moment,
But it is seldom felt.
It seems as though breath catches-
Wind stops-
And there is a pause in the relentless tide.
That moment can stretch
For what can seem like eternity…
A blink,
But an era passes…
And true reflection is a possibility.
Some never feel this wonder
Some have never felt the tide or
The ebb.
They have had no heights to overcome
And so no need to pause.
I remember the moment
I realised my make up, my core -
Who I was -
Was deemed abnormal, unusual
And felt fear.
Every moment since then
I have fought so many wars
Internal, external
To be accepted, to be loved
And lost.
The wins last but a moment
But the scars left are permanent
Deep wounds.
“Unconditional Love” a foreign concept
And abstract.
The unending moment does end.
New, alien, acceptance
And love
Eventually emerges, with luck…
And I smile.
On a secret journey she has long been
walking in the dark alley of her lonely life
losing the fragile sanctity to the flood of strife
drowns deep within the sucking cesspool of sin.
In the desolate depth of the darkest night
she searches for the sinking soul in torment
finds it sliced in the debris of shame to repent
pines to be free from the bonds of despised plight.
In surging storm blowing with pent up remorse
the strands of her mind swirl like the hair blown
hiding with her sordid hands the face she disowns
prays to God to show her drifted life’s virtuous course.

As days split off
and drift away,
their dreams remain with me
Words as jewels
and treasured pawn,
whose tickets cancelled—flee
The nights adopted
orphaned suns,
those times you woke and lied
My heart left bare
myself to wed,
your wound still deep inside
From spells you cast
upon our gift,
and conjured into stone
The past is black
all future gone,
and present—love disowned
