The Sacrificing of the Poor Heroes For the Independence

They told
Without weapons, enough food, necessary products
They are bold
To fight against the armed forces and occupationists
To snatch complete freedom
To ensure the glory of being independent
Keeping pace with the rest of the world
Raising head as independent nation,

And they were right
Within nine months of violent fight
They were able to hunt
The cruel, unscrupulous rulers’ foolish forces,

Then victory came
The heroes wrote the name
Of an independence loving new nation
On the centuries hard stone
Through a vast sea of bleeding
Lots of valuable lives losing
Lots of honors dishonoring
Huge of properties destroying.

*For the commemorating of the independence

Premium Member A Hunter Boy's Penitence

A hunter boy born to God fearing parents
Was taught from his very early childhood;
Failure to attend church on Sundays needed penitence
As it was an act of defying God and dishonoring His parenthood
The boy faithfully took the advice to his heart

But his fad for hunting was too irresistible to put away
Brazenly, he skipped church on one Sabbath day
And roamed through the jungle looking for a prey
Like one on a treasure hunt, excited and gay
He dreamed of hunting down a bird or beast with his dart

In wild enthusiasm, he clambered up every hill ad vale
Exploring every cranny through bush and brake
As he turned to a dark corner, following a trail
There stood a lion and no doubt, his valor did shake
He started shaking and shivering in great fright

On an impulse, the boy turned backwards to run
Alas, he slipped off and rolled down the peak
With the beast chasing him in hot pursuit, like a demon
Crashing on a boulder, his ribs broke with a creak
With dizziness, he knew, he would collapse straight

Unable to run or even move, he writhed in pain.
Trembling from the crown of his head,
To the soles of his feet, as the lion closed in
He realized with a shock, he would soon be dead
And knew his disobedience was the sole cause for his fate

In great desperation, he cried out with all his heart
“Lord, I am so sorry for my willful omission
Please forgive me and save me from being torn apart
Make this lion a good Christian with all compassion”
And rid me safe from this miserable state

Lo, the clouds parted in the heavens with a creak
And a beam of light shone down on the aggressor
The lion skidded to a halt and suddenly turning back
Fell on its knees and clasped its paws together
As if it was full of contrition for its wicked act

In thankfulness, like a good Christian of benevolence
The lion drew the sign of the cross for God’s grace to overpower
And recited in a tone of great reverence and forbearance
“Father in Heaven, bless this food that I am about to devour!”
Before it sprang, through some strange providence, the boy escaped intact

Fighting God With All My Might

He is the Father in Heaven
While I hallowed his name
Cast me out of His kingdom
I was put into shame.

I was spent in Earth
Never to see heaven
Am I the only one dying for bread
dishonoring me to learn my lesson?

He did not forgive my errors
I shall not forgive His creation
For I pleaded for justice
Instead I never got salvation.

He delivered me to evil
Producing an obnoxious man
For His power and His glory
Destroyed my master plan.

I shall fight for my redemption
Justice for all, I shall declare
For I was born of flesh and blood
Want to be treated fair and square.

Premium Member God's Verdict On Man And His Sin - Romans 1: 21-25

Man thinks He knows God
at the same time they honour Him not
for their hearts fools darkness
reveals their futility in life so sought

They make such lavish claims
of real wisdom but become fools
this God has always known
living their man made rules

So God gave them up to sin
following their lustful willing heart
exchanging God's glory for their own
rejects the gospel in no small part

Man has exchanged God's truth
for lies worshiping the creature
rather than the immortal God
the one and only true creator

God demands true worshippers
those that would turn from their sin
making God their Lord and Saviour
looking to Jesus His favour to win

("For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.
Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.")

We became blind to His love for us
Failing to honor Him in our worship
His choices now offend us
And our offerings now offend Him
Our hearts refuse to take Him in
So, we go through the motions
For the appearance of respectability

We are hypocrites
Asking Him for His blessing
While dishonoring His name
We have turned back from following Him
Our speech becomes ever more sinful
Showing partiality in His instructions
Showing lack of influence by the Spirit

We are disillusioned
Accusing Him of injustice
Because the wicked are prospering
While our own service to Him is unprofitable
So, we withhold from Him
And become more self-assertive
Dealing treacherously with each other

We are lacking spiritual kinship
Yet, it's because of His justice
We still have space to repent
To return to Him and regain His blessing
To avoid the curse and coming judgment
He will send Elijah before that Day
To break the stalemate

Premium Member A Bone To Pick With Looters

What a sad spectacle
seeing hordes of people
amid riots
breaking into
department stores
and destroying businesses
just to loot them.

Stop the looting!
Hands off the merchandise!
How is it justice
for George Floyd?
for Eric Garner?
for Michael Brown, Jr?
for Tamir Rice?
for Freddy Gray?
for any future Black victim
of police brutality?

What makes you
any different from those
you supposed to be
protesting against?
Stay home if you'd rather
loot stores than riot
peacefully.
Shame on you
for dishonoring
the memory of those
you should be
protesting for.

If you truly cared about
representing the families
of victims who died
at the hands of corrupt cops
you wouldn't be
showing up just to loot.
Shame on you
for trying to undo
the movement
for positive change.
If your intention
isn't to contribute
to that change, stay indoors.

By all means, protest
without breaking any laws.
But when you loot, you give
peaceful protesters
demanding justice
a bad name!
You are not helping!
Join the movement
for positive change, if not,
please, stay home!

Stop the looting!
Hands off the merchandise!
How is it justice
for George Floyd?
for Eric Garner?
for Michael Brown, Jr?
for Tamir Rice?
for Freddy Gray?
for any future Black victim
of police brutality?

Stop committing a crime
while railing against criminals
for crying out loud!

When things are cold and old friends
turn their back on you.
One needs to let go and find new friends,
that honor you.

Where competition is far from first.
And honoring the least poet is your
most veritable thirst.

A small home, most grateful in which to pen
humble verses.
You humble soul’s church is.

But dishonoring a poet, not one soul should do.
To much for any heart to go through.

How to trust vain, humanity, that screams any
site is all about thee.
A home without prizes and bullies with
humanitarian disguises.

Is there such a place?
If only there was one....blessed with a human face.

the guys right next door

the laws and codes
to take life
and move forward
after death called
dishonoring his beauty
my idols timecards
his tickets paid
pta debts and laughter
to be the father
i look to be a boy from
knowing how his world ends
and cheating with you, again
please yourself for once
keep your hands off
of us
so he can't see me
save myself

Empty Dreams

My shadow is no more
Inside my eyes are cold
life has no light
dark trees shape my night
famous fear of immortality
no sight for love
whispers of the voices asking to not give up
those whispers get more quiet with time
my life is dishonoring God
I am hollow inside I am alone
no peace remains for me
this world is an eternal nightmare without the end
