If you are so proud
of your sensibilities and tastes,
so convinced that your arbitrary judgements
are infallible as heartbeats of angels,
if you are the sole instrument of God's grace and evaluations
then why don't you allow them to stand next to that which you condemn
for your peers and the world to judge,
why deny those immaculate tenets the glory
of intellectual and moral combat
to prove their legitimacy, their spiritual superiority
and not to become what they claim to understand and abhor,
who and what do you believe you are protecting,
its critics like you that retard the development of the Youth,
attempt to shame love and passion,
encourage the madness of tyrannies,
and succor the demons of oppressive cults,
does a rose hide itself in the shade,
does a beautiful sword dignify itself with wild slashes,
does the truth honor itself with silence,
does justice inspire with opinion,

Banish the bullies,
trip the trolls,
excise the malevolent,
leave passionate love alone...
I declare,
let there be contrast,
let there be Art -

In Honor of: ~Constance~Rambling Poet

Rambling around in a traffic jam,
Poetess naked and on the lam.
  Constance’s very neat trick,
  Behind a thin chopstick,
In the buff, dreaming a bluff, dream scam!!

Though diligently she did try,
`T was a failure to dignify,
   By her most classic stance,
   For without any pants,
Did lose her chance she had to buy!!

Violet Ladyslipper

A violet ladyslipper’s seed did fly
On tropic breezes to cold forest’s womb
Her hidden beauty, a gift to the eye

Past bluebirds, saffron and red butterfly
On wings of her soul dream to come abloom
A violet ladyslipper’s seed did fly

A common pine this seed did dignify
This blooming desire, her heart did consume
Her hidden beauty, a gift to the eye

To survive, pitched struggle in forest dry
The delicate orchid’s dreams met their doom
A violet ladyslipper’s seed did fly

Her blossom was meager, yet seeds nigh
Fairest fate was not woven on God’s loom
Her hidden beauty, a gift to the eye

And ever her seedlings did multiply
In plumage full, daughters did bloom
A violet ladyslipper’s seed did fly
Her hidden beauty, a gift to the eye

Dignify Me

I’ve been here before
Knowing what to expect
Or so I had thought
This time, I’m perplexed

Similar exterior
I gave little thought
But the inside is backwards
I, surly, am lost

This was not the first time
I assure you, I’ve felt
That I’m losing my mind
Losing touch with myself

The crowds were blurred
My feet were planted
They knew, where they were
And took it for granted

Becoming a child
I felt so afraid
I prayed for a grown up
To lead the right way

Desperation, like heat
As it moved through my veins
Searching my pockets
In hopes to find change

 Nothing came free
I already knew
But I’ve lost everything
A panic, would stew

Flush cheeks, sweaty palms
I’ve developed a stutter
Don’t slow down for me
Move on to another

Strangers, annoyed
I’m just in the way
Anything that I do
Turns out, a mistake

Yet another feature
Starring ADHD
Make me a teacher
Dignify me

Psalm of praise

Oh Jah, we laud you
for your magnificence
as the one and only true God
and Sovereign of the universe.

Your splendor is beyond
our imagination and your glory
surpasses all conscious thought.
Even so, you take notice of us,
mere mortal man, less than the dust
on your celestial scales are we.

We are less than nothing
and yet you dignify us
by granting us to be
made in your image.

How we need to abound
in your marvelous qualities
of love, justice wisdom and power,
to be able to help those who oppose you
and deny your existence,
and your Authority.

Only because of your humility and mercy
do you continue to sustain us here
on our earthly dwelling place-
we are so undeserving yet by your grace,
your undeserved kindness
we exist and move and breathe.

Our very lives depend on your mercy,
your loving care is evident
in the beauty of the sun
as it rises and sets,
marking the limits
of our days and our nights.

We marvel Sovereign Lord,
at how marvelously we are made,
not only us but the everlasting cosmos,
how you have ordered
their existence by your command -
and by your dynamic energy
all continues to function precisely
and harmoniously as you have designed.

You the great Timekeeper,
have all things under your control,
and for all things there is an appointed time,
all according to your will and purpose.

How we rejoice at the prospect of life everlasting
in a paradise earth, when all things
will have been restored back to perfection.

Hallelujah, praise Jah,
all you heavens and earth,
and and all who enjoy Godly
peace in his everlasting glory!

Premium Member Proud and Tall

Of all the flowers God has made,
   there are those cast in purple shade;
some small with petals, hug the ground
and others, bristled- slim, but sound.

But- grandest is a taller one
that stands up straight beneath the sun.
Upon its top, a purple crown
of loops and swirls so soft, like down.

It stately stands with fronds of green
that gently curve to grace the scene,
uplifting them toward the sky;
God's work of art to dignify.

Alone, or marching four abreast,
along a wall or pathway blessed,
the Iris stands so proud and tall;
   this lovely flower does enthrall.

Sonnet To the Creator

Oh Lord I hear the words inside my brain.
The pounding, pounding, pounding won’t abstain,
this favor that you granted unto me
in meter, rhyme and endless poetry.

I can not comprehend why you chose me
to publicize your truth in poetry,
but still I’ll try to make your wishes known
in words and lines that I shall call my own.

Oh Lord I pray my work will dignify
your name, and Lord I promise I will try
to never underestimate my skill,
for Lord I understand that it’s your will.

May everything that I shall ever write
be worthy of your love, and bring delight.

her eyes are gray, foreboding

her eyes are gray, foreboding
reflecting the wrath of Zeus
yet therein lies the charm of Hera
who silences Olympian thunderbolts
she is sharing a tenebrous introspect
the smile withdrawn, judgmental thought
an ego that must be fed, expense of others
aloofness brings happiness no more
i am lost in the beauty of an honest waltz
women addressing their problems
instead of undressing in front of them
we all suffer in being human
but with an honest waltz such as yours
we begin the inward path
realize the injustice we do others
its ultimate expense, our self
we are wisely told never to judge
yet every day we do
and to some extents we must
who shall i call friend
do i devitrify, or dignify humanity
sometimes i wonder why get honest
people love to be honest about faults
most of the time it is yours
truth can be an elusive beast
sheltered within, Medusa's avoiding mirrors
refusing to acknowledge the peccants within
the ones we tend to ignore
dismiss as peccadilloes
i was not fond of reflection myself
those mornings after, mirror of dipsomania
the abusive beast, a life of full moons
it was worth every battle back
sitting here sober, listening to you

Home of the Brave

An achromatic statue of a Union bugler
soldier stands high above
a tiny municipal park
where class Aves defecate daily
on his stone-cold cap and shoulders.
Monday and many more Memorial Days
We will dignify this warrior
And others like him lost in battle.
Honoring them with flowers,
Prayers and parades,
eulogistic speeches
praising them for giving us
another day of freedom
in America, home of the brave.

Life's Secret

Feeling rejected
I asked for life's secret
The dejected: to not care much

The loved one: sunshine and
powder snow, you, and our baby,
The important things to care

The subjected: when you're needed
You needn't rush to deny
Your wishes, they dignify

Equality

 Equality
I am really sick and tired of living in disgrace
Police officers killing people who they think are of an inferior race
The patriarchal hierarchy that is destroying our fate,
It's time we step aside and let women rise to the plate
Realize that the media lies
And frames the innocent as guilty in the publics eyes
Don't be misguided by the lies
We need to come together as people before our nation starts to die
Ain't no more time to cry,
No more people can afford to die
Their lives were taken without time to pass by
Let us dignify
Let their martryism exemplify the terror that is unveiled
When you realize that time is going by
And people are still dying

Are You Skew-Whiff

Are You Skew-Whiff?

				Are you feeling rather skew-whiff?
Awkwardly placed and standing?
		upside-down
		back to front
		inside out
		topsy - turvy
Are your senses damp and unresponsive,
					Beckoning confusion and despair?
Does your heart pound even when there’s nothing exciting there?

   Forlorn, sorrowful, despondent,
			     You patronise your grief,
	      						Focus on your problem,
		To attain some relief;
You keep flitting to your pleasures,
Lack, for contemplation, a quiet place,
Force your troubles into the backroom,
You’re not to dignify your face.
								Tomorrow is for thinking,
	    Will exist to accommodate,
			The glumness and the wretchedness,
That seems to obliqueness and gloom proliferate.

All I am saying is you have to try
Not only will it help you get by
But truly indeed it will help you fly
Under a new earthly universal sky
You are the whole piece of the pie
Now, know when to go apply
This mathematical equation pi
Otherwise your brain will fry
Or it will just sit still here on standby
I am not trying to be this wise guy
Nor I am attempting to shanghai
I am just wanting to dignify
And I am wanting to beautify
They are the ones who falsify
The meaning of your third eye
Because they want to pacify
It’s your mind they want to occupy
With fear they try to petrify
So, I am here to declassify
And of course to testify
It’s you I want to exemplify
Yea, so I got the red eye
Though not like my mind’s eye
Which has definitely hit the bull’s eye
So you come and give it a vie
I bet you will scream banzai

I Hate You

I hate you, trully hate you,
My bad breath smells of hate,
Hate for you,
I hate to see you walk,
Hate to see you talk,
Hate to see you joke,
Of things, that hate you back.

Do you even realize how much,
Of a wasted sperm ended up in an ova,
A spoilt ova ending up in a figure such,
A disgrace to human race, we hate such.

Your face reminds me of,
A dead rotten half eaten carcass of,
An animal that whenever I dream of,
Forces me to want to fly off,
This planet to where you I could cutoff.

I hate you, trully hate you,
With that bitchy smile I hate to see,
I hate that my glasses magnify,
A face looking like of me wanting,
To acidify, electrify, then glorify,
To everyone, for them to dignify,
For the good I did, to face you out,
For the good I did, no more hate for you.

I hate that, my hate is not enough,
I hate that after all hate God's tough,
On me not to decide your fate,
Your death, For all that lives hates you.

A Hopeless Being

A Hopeless Being.

Oh Lord! Before in hell forsake,
dreams do remove from all the men;
strip them, their hope away do take,
or shall in hell rebel again.

The dreams I dream they aren't mine,
but of that learner courting hope,
at nightfall are a humble shrine,
in peaceful slumber envelop.
in sleep such obscure visions come,
while vulnerable am I whole,
the hostile sights my heart do thrum,
in mixed melody is my soul;
their beauty what does signify,
and those faces that are ne'er real!
Now do our breaths they dignify
or negate all --that we do feel.
Is poor most a dreamless being,
with flightless nights and yearnings sour,
his curse is a mind of stable seeing,
disowning growth forevermore.
Isn't useless hope that ne'er pays,
is present yet as thin as air,
though in the eye it always stays,
but to the reason seldom there;
these drinks of dreams I do condemn,
but life and death come from this cup,
I might have given up on them,
but will they ever give me up.
