Best Devide Poems
On Calvary
Poem
Lionel Derbyshire
Sans devoid and bare
Now and then I stare
Out there feeling bereft
My punctured lung bleeds
Feet wont dare to step
I am nailed so hard
The clouds go dapple drab
The sky emboss so somber
Robber and I either side
I came to fetch many faults..
Sans devoid I bare the load
Whom am I ?
Jesus from God
The saviour Messiah
Who grants salvation
Confined and tied up
The will is done now
My covenant fullfilled
My compromise given
The time has dawned
So you may live.
Sans devoid and bare
I have borne the cross alone
On Calvary
The loaded cross
Of forgiven sins
There will be images
Up a cross
In A world of great devide
No more snakes in wine
My hands and feet
No longer bereft
I thirst
I ascend
I remember you ..
On Calvary
You sin and weep no more.

All was certain, the tracks determined
each and every day
Cold steel certainty dictated
all thoughts and machinations
complacent
Will the unfeeling rails define us?
Will the force-fed rout devide us?
I stand, a locomotive, raging off the track
teetering engine building steam
throwing all your notions back
to the overbearing brother providing
lies steeped in half truths
deceptive
Shall we dance amongst the littered wreck
of boxcars toppled over?
This free thinking deemed chaotic by compliant passengers
begging for margins to live in.
~our brakes never screeched
as the truth we beseeched is doled out so reluctant
I stand, an illuminating conductor, ready to delve
outside the railroad ties
seeking new horizons for crashsites

The Class Divide
It was an odd situation the town was divided by a river.
The west side was the posh part. I lived there, that is
I worked as a cook at a tourist hotel and had a room in
the basement of the hotel. The east, across the river,
was where my girlfriend lived, a working class area
that only had gritted roads and houses were not painted.
The hotel director’s daughter loved me even though,
she had gone to a boarding school in Swiss, all I had
to do was to take elocution lessons and the world of
paved roads and villas would be mine. But my heart was
in uproar I loved the girl across the river she spoke my
language, salty and direct. So I crossed the Rubicon
an August night when the moon was full, but I had
dallied too long, she didn’t want a boyfriend who spoke posh.

Ballad
So many people living beyond there means
Those one's their so obsessed with greed
And there's those coming apart at the seam's
The one's who would like to not want or need
When even now we have the rich and the poor
Those people who's only real concern is wealth
Those who just take everything right to the core
It now seems it's like every one for them self
And what is it all about money power domination
Will there be a time we share the same residence
Whats funny were sleep walking into segregation
And still it's like were all these modern day peasants
When all those people who are just filled to the brim
But what could you say to them, your a greedy hog
If we then look at the world that we are now living in
It's just become something like that of dog eat dog

tHIS LIKE AN EXCERT FROM POEM SEVEN

moment in time ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,GREED
again the reason behind me questioning this is because theres still this giant devide
between people the ritch get ritcher and the poor get pooer i think docters and nures should
get much more than footballers and polotisions i could go on and on but anyway this is another
excert from poem idea seven ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Rhyme
Asked he, how are you?
i stammered ,i trembled i fumbled
heart will bleed mine
Alas i cannot utter the word , i am fine,
how can i say , i am fine,
countless men women and children dying
countless children forced to sleep
without a single grain to eat,
with so much suppression and oppression around
innocent savoring their wounds
crushed under heavy military boots
bullets piercing innocent chest,
even children not being spared
the world sitting atop the nuclear volcano to blaze,
the mad race for nuclear arms going unfazed
in the mad race to surpass the other
nations have forgotten the role of big brother
out with shameless greed to plunder
the wealth n resources of the nations ,
who cannot resist and stand
forcing the weak to prostrate and surrender
pretending to be saviour, but out to devour
no i cannot be fine,
till there is a tear in a single eye,
and oppressed throats choked with cry
no i can not be fine,
no i can not call such world mine
I yearn for a world ,based on co-operation
no prtence ,no false notion
A world based on mutual trust, faith and concern
co-operation
not suppression
trust ,
not mistrust
truth not deceit,
no wolf in skin of sheep
where the east meets the west
where the north
converges with south
where the white welcomes black
love prevails not hate
no rich and poor devide
weak can live with dignity n pride
yes then only i can say with proud
yes i m fine ,aloud

Light Verse
Thigh High
Is it ok?
To wrap myself
Around your self
To oblige our need
Of being
Is it's ok?
To ride on waves of passionate bliss
To wrap my thighs around your masculine hips
To share the skin and breaths
That we decide are ours to share
Is it all good?
That our primal beats crash the walled harmony for which we race
Pounding as the dead cert
A shared smile devide across our space
Whilst all stands proud and pert
As
We make
Love
For all we are worth
Until our wall.... comes crashing down
So we may
Finally lay
Dishevelled within
Silk
Soft

The challenges that life instills
Fighting over mounting bills
Somehow though our needs are
met
Faith be strong, nar ye forget
It's not about the perks and
frills
Beckon Roses and daffodils
Separation supports the isms
Fractured like reflected prisms
Multi-colored light distills
Gleaning rainbows from window
sills
United we stand, devide and fall
Change the world, one for all
Human beings have free wills
Love's duet with harmonic trills
To love thyself is presuposed
Freely given not composed
Love nurtures life and hatred
kills
Taking degrades, receiving
fills
From the heart divine blessing
Have your needs met, no guessing
Coincidence! Yea more than nills
Coliding together as fate fullfils
The right place and time is the
here and now
When opportunity strikes, you
must allow
Things to flow freely, as time
instills
At every turn a new choice
refills
Start with truth, understanding
and grace
Spread it throughout our whole
human race
To believe, to have faith requires
no skills
Begin,,, Beckon Roses and
Daffodils

Teri yaad
Muskurahat mai khoya
Baat dil Mai liye arman
Dhakan hai naraz
Janey kaab hogi mulakat
Taman hai jo ban gayi
Badua Dori ka ehsas
Kagaj mai chipa hai
Waqut ki phehchan
Kachdey ka deheyr
Toota hua dil na
Mangey koi payar
Aab suno kasi hai tumhari
Yaad ..........
Like the shadow walk
Like the nose cry for smell
Like the moment stop
Like the road devide
Like the lips lock
Like the painting fill with nature
Like Mai hi puri hai Teri yaad
I love you meri jaan
With love all

Ghazal
I have come to the place
Where a stone garden grows
Where all flowers have turned to stone
And no water flows.
I have come to a place
Where the sun seldom shines
She’s turned her eyes
And the day is as twilight.
I have come to a place,
By tortuos ways
Am lost in the blizzard
Of a life on the run
I have come to this place
Over years, over miles
And the distance I’ve travelled
Is grafted on the lines
Cross my heart, and my face
Deeper still
In my soul.
Life is no longer a playground
Or an open field.
There are walls now,
That devide and surround
Hemm us in and rob us
Of the very air we breath,
Chains of vine and twig and smoke
Ideas, and desires
Love lost and cast to the wind
Alone we stumble, crumble and fall
To the ground
Look around,
To find
Where once flourished Eden ....
A stone garden grows

I'm told this isn't hiphop, just a bunch of well constructed words
And its not poetry either because it rhymes like a rap verse
At first, come to terms with the terms that your using
Then try to structure the point that your proving
Introducing yourself half way through a statement
Will likely fail, you need a basis for it to make sense if it's a story your trying to tell
A true emcees pen is used to jot thoughts on paper
But its just a matter of opinion which version's prefered or greater
Words heard, are sure to stir emotions in some, but
Read straight from the page that it wouldn't have done
The reality is rap punchlines are something quite pivital
But Rappers today make verses seem quite trivial
In the last line I've given you, an example of the devide
Repetition can enforce points, or be an easy way to rhyme
These changes may be hard to define, but it's worth a try
I don't use style guidelines, I adopt whatever works for mine
Search my mind for my thoughts, and write 'em in rhyme form
Lots have lost the plot . . just let me know when you find yours
My verses get read so my message is spread they way it's intended to be
Cause if your an emcee who isn't a poet, well your just posin, your not really an emcee .

A Coyote's Howl
They lurk in the grass through the field on a hill
Traveling through hedges of bark & Elm
One look at the moon the coyote's howl
Pull back the covers from my brain
Shattered memories of a forest all a glow
With a fever pitched noise have viscious long hanging fangs that bite
A lone bridge that goes through the underpass in town
Wretched creatures that explode without no kind of notice
We have embraced your ways as you search for bread
The caverns on the hilltop range bring in your kind
A kindly reminder to cross the great devide
Still you hiden behind the rocks with the trees to suit your needs
Having a dark mysterious aura to the sphere of your realm
Forbidden territory to research and learn
You howl for protection as your heart is bleeding in the night
A whole host of packs that gather sending quite a bit of fright
Sometimes you travel in packs to help reach your destination
Your native touch quivers for a source of revelation
Out on the prairie far from the actual range
You avenge your prey to which you host to convey
A coyote's howl make come to a neighborhood near you

Your validations eradicated from the goodness of a nightmare
You may wonder outside of the box
But you will soon be greeted by the face of a wall (the sign of a new box)
No one Truly thinks ouside the Box for you see...
(once you do, you'll relize your just in a new one, bigger and more space to think,
But all the same, You will never think outside the box)
Evaluate the parted ship from land to sea, adrift
Base your results on the problem of a devided sanity if Humanity
Derevolutionize the lines out of the skies
Ground Zero only to be thought of if Earth were to devide by zero
Face your fears and defile the monsters your child has born
Correct the classified and deny Santa's eye
"Afiliation of the Green" is on the radio
Just talking to let you know
Were designed to breed an Army of Destroyers
To mourn the disasters by recreation
Using up all condemnation
Satan's Hair locks Doushe our Forever to Eternity Damnations

You can call a spade a spade
A darkened portal light in its timeless space;
Twice dead novice notion in his head...
The ascension out from chains filled with blood,
In sought after excursion magnified truth;
Hence the opened door as filtered through an illusion vamp
Branded chains unleashed with stagnant revelation,
Deceived...
Choices made in vile repute type greed;
Although a red rose was plucked a time ago,
In silent dellusion in thought filled its ego
Colorful decorated flowers absorbed in sweet fragrance in mercy
Within its pillage of sought after reflection still torn;
~
There is still no real substitute for the real you...
Many are still blind from this notion in thought;
The prince of the power of the air will soon fall!
Having an air of Godliness but denying its power,
We each can react to what is profitable or costly;
The given elements have been exposed by a given choice through exploits...
To negate with power will bring one to a tragic loss,
Deceived...
There will be one to soon rise forth;
A sense of burning flesh flowing in the wind;
The torn chasm of spilled blood out weighs the pen,
With fasks of flowing wine...
Rivers run through a great devide
Deceived
Still many go out to & fro...
People were made as an after thought to show,
Just so they can go serve other god's
The one's who can't talk & hearts fold asunder
Turning cases in its plunder
Deceived
A warning or timely adice for those down under!
