Premium Member Traces

One evening, much like any other
striated feathers of pinks, and deepest primrose
colored the clouds with facets of light, tapering inward
Traces of gold between each color, as deep and clear as the sages

The red sun overhead, had grown weary with seasons,
and did not seem to notice that we were mother and child

Whispering sounds of emerald breezes
did not label me wise, nor her naive'
We were two who walked equally, side by side

She lifted her voice,
and spoke with an eloquence I had not heard before,
and it was just as the twilight calls to the stars....
so that they will know just what to do

Young spruces stood bolt upright,
every twig stiff with interest,
and with deep respect at her every word
as if they were watching transformation in tandem,
an exchange so delicately detectable

And in one clinging moment to the other,
one of us was letting go of childhood,
and one was letting go of the child

Both of us looking to the sky for recognition

I watched the sycamore shed, beneath its load of yellow, rust and gold
Letting them quietly go, without remorse

while I did the same

Premium Member The Silence of a Broken Heart

The fear of losing you is real
It’s in the countless daily moments
Of a diagnosis still echoing in our ear
A verdict forever stuck in our throat
Maybe better to know but at what cost
Trying to keep illness at bay
Aggressive the counter attack
Life never to be the same
Dark thoughts still lurk uninvited
As sometimes your eyes tear up
With no detectable provocation
And in the hush of night when all is quiet
The silence seems unbearable
Within the shadow of a broken heart
So we strive to live each day
As though life is the gift it is

Blackberry Bush

Blackberries start as white dots in a sea of thorns
The flower will fade, and a green berry will join
Protected, it will grow and be pink
Safe from even a massacring mink
Larger, it will swell until it is red
No enemy can lay down their head
Darker and darker until it is black
The berries are ready for an attack
Sour, but delectable
The thorns are detectable
But what about the thornless blackberry bush?

Poor girl, she starts off white
Like the others that night
She grows into a misshapen berry
Unlike the others (who are), lucky? Very.
She stays as the others grow
Poor berry, behind she tows
The rest are protected by thorns of steel
But this poor one just needs a deal

From green to pink to red to black
The other blackberry is held far back
If only she could get some thorns
To protect her from the world's horns

The neglected female, without protection
Her parents have given her no love and affection
The other ones shall grow strong
Their parents are never gone

Good Night and Sweet Dreams of the Day

A whispering word is a whispering void cantering over airspace. Clear but unclear. Oh the sheer detectable ideology of the fungal worm. Chitter chatter consume. Consumption is the eruption. And like a fine wine to a palate leaves no bereft anarchical wonderful wound. It leaves only a blemish you see. Wipe away and wield and wield. Surely only in a field is one golden shard shirt obtained through an era of cataclysmic canals. And now the peace of the sound injects and vibrates the atmosphere with simple yet symbolic and symmetrically placed soul speak. And so medicine is delivered to the gatherings at many a synchronization and talking cannot halt the dosage. And idle is the bows that do not shout or shoot. And to interrupt a single layer of brain peanut style is to merely swim backstroke against a myrtle current of which is called time. Collaborative collisions then. Good. Youthful digestive tunnels but as yet no turrets. Bouncing booming boogie bongos. Waves of impassive moods.magically magic majestic morphological moods. Xxxxxx ever since a baa comes an array.........savour not a salt and salute no angel for angel is an angel and anglers waltz in a very highly driven snow. So hahahahaha lumps of pressure means a tyre washing in progress....hahahaha mean not a mingle....hahahaha elevated eon.....hahaha and hohoho honourable hideous hundred xxxxxx inconspicuous..z

Jump Start My Heart

Jump Start My Heart

The pulse is barely detectable growing weaker every second
Oxygen, breath of life so thin the moment he went through the glass
Emergency, emergency, code red means critical care needed
Emergency, emergency more time the monitors have pleaded

Through double hissed air lock doors the gurney comes to rest
Only if time gave a little bit more to save these eyes from death
Emergency, emergency critical DOA arrival for the morgue to receive
Emergency, emergency donor card active what organs can we retrieve

Systematic checks and tests to match up with lists of lives who bleed
Cross referenced and graphed a positive match for a heart in need
Emergency, emergency redirect the gurney into operation room 9
Emergency, emergency start to finish we only have a few hours time

The DOA lays bared, incisions everywhere, the largest in mid chest
The helicopter awaits, a panic state, flying a cooler way out west
Emergency, emergency clinging to life left with little chance
Emergency, emergency the EKG is flat as death gets a transplant

Life anew stitched in, arteries in stints, preparing to revive a heart
All plugged in, wired skin, electrical pulses give life a jump start
Emergency, emergency failed revival on the first three tries
Emergency, emergency on the fourth life beats to opening eyes

Chateau Pl

Chateau Pl

A sleep walk guided by reflections
Although somethings were real
Not the front entry way
Or the stair case
Or the garage for that matter
Scrubbed and alcohol swabbed shoes
Eating off those would've been though
Pee sitting down!
And cologne must not be detectable
From more than an arms length away!
Nobody wore it
I think
The closet could've clothed a small town
And housed an elderly couple with a Pomeranian
A parked Steinway on sleek marble
Or maybe it was a Bentley, whichever,
The keys were misplaced
Handshakes are forbidden!
You may speak, however.
A stolli over ice seemed to be the only thing
Not surreal
Unless you would fancy triple dipping
Beluga caviar with a vacuum in your hand surreal
Or, perhaps, being seduced by homemade egg noodles
Can you describe that atrocius smell?
A Land's End catalog doused in kerosene
Ties & cufflinks & Jackets on fire sale
A whiff of ozone
Darkness
A hazy stare assisted by chirping birds
and a gurgling salt water tank
In an upstairs, 2 bdr. duplex
A peon awakens a prince

How Can You Loose Self-Control

Being influenced by disasters,
Those who’ll never be comforters,
By profession they’re affecter s,
In action they are arresters,
How can you lose self-control?

The act of taking over yourself,
The hope to wish for yourself,
Making all decisions for yourself,
 The act of protection yourself,
How can you lose self-control?

Chance for help-seeking is applicable,
The living condition is comfortable,
Problem occurrence is detectable,
The mass of influence is measurable,
Every time you’re always available,
How can you lose self-control?

Old Soul

Maybe I'm an old soul
The things that should appeal to me are not interesting
Some probably think that they should be
I'm in the hip-hop generation, but current creations make me believe
that this world has no morality
Scantily-clad women dancing on the hood of cars
Beautiful women with no intelligence become superstars
Anorexia is acceptable, and should be detectable
The wickedness in this world is incredible
Men are leaving women with children to raise alone
Little children wake up and wonder where has daddy gone
Drugs are accessible at any given time of the day
The only thing that we can do is pray
Music isn't music anymore, and I listen for true creativity
It seems real music is an endangered species
Men enter prison, and some never see freedom again
We must think before making descisions
I'm an old soul in a young body
Even though I have made some mistakes, I am still somebody
To the youth of today, I must say that we are the future
We cannot push aside the God who our country was formed by
Meterialism and wild, riotous living will only lead to financial and
physical ruin
What are you doing to make this world better
This old soul is being wise and humble.

Sober and the Drunkard

I drink until I drop
While he cheats and get a drop (drop- STI)
Where bottles are emptied I am found
Find him where condoms are filled
And zipped are undone
I drink, flirt and blackout
While he bumps, grind and passout

Weekends I watch football
While he figures out
as to whom to empty his ball
Social networks are his strong hold
Whilst mine is to grab the cold
My lies are easily detectable
His are barely discernible

The point here is that, there is absolutely
No point to be made
Just an inebriated poet
With a biro.

7 Dimes...

”...daughter dear come sit and play
I’ve drawn a star to show the way
Here are the dimes, one for each day
From point to point, place them all I say.”

”... a wallet and a watch…”
Time is moving and I’m to catch!
Forth dime placed on the One to match!
How, and how now to fetch the rest….

”... spectacles …” spectacular tactics
Respectable… the genuine articles
Detectable… ” a thinking machine ”...
Never giving up, even in her teens…

”... this test tickles…” she said
Sugar plum dimes dancing in her head
”... Rudolf, there’s a read to know…”
Red lights lead the way through snow…
Deals were made in the long ago.

Now I’m One and soon to be Two
Seven dimes placed and a penny in my shoe.

Loud and Clear

Fiction. It's not what it seems

but we can start here and

I'll call them all dreams...

The eagle nodded

so I'm good to start

I kept the nine feathers

and started on the stars...

" Annuit Coeptis "

it was written to see

that we are of God

and continue to be

"... hear ..."

are the Reason

for 13 layers

God made Knights

in half a dozen pairs

but it takes the light of days

to see them write here...

and if you start at dawn

you can make it to the sun...

by One.

" ... it's detectable ..."

My agreement

with Eagle

is proper.

So the Founders who are Fathers

came closer...

" Does she know

about the other Omega...?"

It was a whisper

I heard in the Chamber

when Chance came in to claim me

but in the never which was ever after

he saw ...

that it was best
to just leave me, write

" ... hear ..."

" ... 22 leaves ..." God said

and so I said to God, ..." loud and clear. "

Commuter Widow

Trainspotting
isn’t fun
not when she’s dead tired
arms of jelly
ears full of tears
	baby wants
	baby wants
pick the kids up
from school
strawberry jam
sandwiches uneaten
traffic jam
	ma I’m hungry
	baby wants
	baby wants
make the dinner
bake the cake
bun in the oven
bending over
nightly shapes
the body pays the price
of new-born joy
	headache
joyless
thankless
throb
9 to 5
paced out
on the kitchen floor
supermarket
	chicken would be good
	baby wants sweets
5 o’clock
tick tock
train halfway
baby straps
double check
	throb
in at seven
should be six-thirty
commuter widow waits
for the daily rebirth
a partnership
what a day I’ve had love
he shallowly sits
TV
dinner
bed
make the shapes
if both are able
	how did it come
	to this
nearly dawn
where’s his tie
I used to be a woman
intelligent
bright
outgoing
he used to be a man
wide-eyed
unpredictable
caring
	no time to care now
we used to be together
in this
	this mess
baby just wants a hug

the question you didn’t answer
what’s left
?
when reality robs us of dreams
what do you see in me
lined
fatter
turning sour
at being cheated
and then depressed when
I realise I cheated myself
out of a better life
what’s left
over
?
what do you see
when you look at me
settlement
or
excitement

is it still there
is it still detectable
after all that has passed

baby wants

baby wants

baby wants a hug

Seven Diems

Dear Fathers,
I've come a Long Way
I did draw that star
and placed a dime on each day.
So now I'm on point
and I'm ready to play

A wallet I watched
and the Time was matched
I found all the feathers
and all the stars on the catch...too

..." spectacles "...
My tactics are respectable
and my measures detectable
..." the genuine "...
article is true and yes
I can assure you

my art does tickle.

Roaming Homing

trimmed all my long hair
the hair i always dreamed about and wasn't there
somethings are never measured by the means of the brain
shoulders at ease while you're becoming insanely sane
everything in discipline like a track less train
round and round till you get to dizzy for direction
have to visit some imaginary ground for site inspection
the calling the invitation the temptation
take what i can before the mushroom ban
lunar migraine clouds for a carpet missing the chance of rain
she's behind the mountain knitting a velvet cloud
she likes her thunder loud
a mountain is either an obstacle or a spectacle
nature's intentions were never detectable
beyond the sanitarium in my cranium
she said if you're leaving seal them horizons behind you
had a love once five lunar minutes of ambience
there's a bird stalking me from infront of me
oh the pain is pure for sure too pure for the cure
close your eyes they're nothing but limitations
for it's an arcane surge
two oceans of emotions
a pack for the back
and a map to get lost and never back
climbing cliffs
in the back of my head I'm playing riffs
and iiiiii will roam like it's home

INFLICTION IN ACTION

        Infliction silent or sonorous,
        disguised or detectable
run parallel with journey of life.

        Sterile born clad in innocence
       through childhood carrying painful experience.
       Me confronting hostile domestic front
devoid of Mom’s affection and care.
       A helpless resistless powerless child
grinded in grave gravels of neglect and disregard.

Counted my days to reach adulthood
         to escape from antagonistic atmosphere
searching at least a peaceful sphere to roam
        in a sweet home.

Worked vigorous taking life as challenge.
Proceeded as lone fighter, life to arrange.
Thanks to my nature holding hope and courage.

         Met my desired goal.
         Performed own successful role
         guided by my sublime soul,
         honoring Dad as my idol.

        Enjoyed life and love
       Shocked on infliction to observe.
yet only pleasant things cannot recur
       Constriction- infliction will occur.

Till heart pulsates, infliction will make upset.
But at least delicate defenseless childhood
      should be exempted.
