Premium Member Is There a Lost and Found In Heaven
Adrift within the silence
of emotive reflection,

leads to a moment of
absentmindedness,

tip of his tired tongue
sentimentally sighs her name.

Sudden state of sadness overcomes him -
reality hurts, for his shadow is a reminder
of empty dreams - a timelss void.

Somber spirits self deprecate,
questioning and wondering...

Premium Member Out of My League
Who coined this term?
Who decided to limit one’s spirit?
Who decided to deprecate those qualities that remain hidden?

Out of my league…
What is the measure?
Who created the scale?

Is it beauty????
There is an inner splendor that defies the term
Is it grace????
There is the graceful movement of the...

Cheating Hearts
Feeling like we are growing apart, broken trust is the process how it starts.
Adulteration I suddenly became, a substance that tends to contaminate.
I lessen in the value of your love, from me being unfaithful committing adultery.
You start to deprecate expressing the hate, your disapproval begins...

Never Say Never
There are moments when troubles enter our life’s
And we can do nothing to avoid them
But the one's we can
They look convoluted unless we demystify
But we think they are byzantine
As we think the mysteries in them can never be find
Nothing is insuperable
So let us not always...

Premium Member The 'End' of the Sun
A solar eclipse will be happening soon
And I'm taking a train up for ‘dark fall,’
Not often our sun is eclipsed by the moon,
Might it be, my drum’s beating restores light for all?

A primitive fantasy, barter in play,
I would die just to see earth's end sidelined,
Up...

Forever I Am You
You believe me to be an altruistic man as I smile with sneering reluctance.
You may think me gentle as I extend my hand in goodwill, but degraded am I as I wistfully watch my hand recoil from your filthy phalanges with its foul clutch....

Read poem about priest and did wait;

Self Deprecation
Why is it so easy for me
to see the ''good'' in everyone else
ANYONE else.......
but me?

It was brought to my attention
that I quite frequently
self deprecate.

My first response to this was
''Oh my gosh! I am so...stupid! ''
But, then I thought
about my kids.

What am I teaching...

Soften Heart
Soften heart.

With strong emotion of love where your heart like teak wooded softened.
Soften heart.
Keep passion to sooth sweet charms to bend.
Love can invite heart not to disgrace.
Soften heart as passionate.
Love addicts me to attract by any means.
Heart now softens.
With pleasant environment my love is in...

More of My Poems Growing

I guess limericks and poems
are the same thing.

On you guess my poems are growing;
Out window them may not be throwing;
Each one do appreciate
To them they did deprecate
My poetry writing is ongoing.

Jim Horn

There. I just wrote three limericks
in 15 minutes. How...

Inadequate Sleep Exspells Volatile Mental State
Inadequate sleep ex(spells) volatile mental state

Existential crisis ensued,
hence the following
I attempt to relate
forewarning the missus,
who heard bellicose me loud and clear
excoriate, deprecate, communicate
callously, blisteringly, angrily... expostulate
refrain awakening this sleeping spouse
yours truly unapologetically will berate

forgetting self promise
vowing never to castigate,
yet flush with red hot poker rage
out...
