Dawning Dreams

In twilight morn I watch you crescent moon
With companion star looking down on you.
Let sunrise hues seep into my soul soon
To bathe in prisms caught in morning dew.

Enchantment dwells upon my hilltop home
As city lights extinguished with the dawn
Has me singing too with...

The Dawning of Love
The dawning of love

 You whispered your secrets
on breezes of starlight
of moonbeam collections
in night sky desire

Those twinkling phrases
beyond the horizon
which once held the sunset
in blistery fire

Beneath every pine tree
found evergreen wishes
with snow dressing branches
long winters to show

And springtime petunias
bloom fresh for the season
soft feathery...

Dawning Poetic Dreams
I'm an enlightened
equinox, strolling in
faded universe,
dreaming poetry in
susurrus serenades
of rustling
ruby-leaves which
whisper cool
beamish hues
to my autumnal-
quartz heart,
when the nucleus
of unborn flowers,
wishes for a
meditative
musing amidst
this mocha
season of
transforming
dialects.

But, why do I
ricochet as...

Premium Member Dawning Snow
Clinging unto hope
shining ever virgin white
There shines a beacon
sky alive with virgin snow
Feeling its abandonment

The skies dawn now grey
tiny diamonds do fall
A swan breaks water
the stillness it now is gone
truth behind crystal liquid

Within reflection
virgin snow is now falling
Spilling out snowflakes
Diamonds fall heaven's grace
Snowflakes little drops...

Dawning Desires - Repost
~

Whispering apricot beams shine upon frilly sheers,
lazy shadows dance in daffodil dawn colors,
pirouettes of pleasured moments,
silently flowing on smooth brush stroke walls

You breathe, softly, the sweetest sonnet,
rhythmically exhaling beneath satin sheets
symphonic…bringing a grin to the sunrise,
blushing clouds hide behind a bashful horizon

Placing a gentle kiss...

Premium Member You Are the Dawning
You are the dawning light of my day as
I wake with your warm body next to mine.
Your deep sexy voice,
my mesmerizing music.
You are the lilt in my laughter
uplifting my soul to heavenly places.
Your sleepy smile, the antidote
mending my heart.
You never cease surprising me...

When the sky bleeds solitude
like a wounded weeping heart and
the horizon’s embrace wraps valleys about eternity,
then, only then, can the bountiful earth find love.
Crimson dawns feed the artist eye, and poet’s pen
for all that’s green and wonderful must bleed, and rise, and die.
Each reflection...

When spring is like the dawning sun
through frosted panes anticipate
the morning after winter's done.

In vernal womb where life's begun
the anxious babes of summer wait
when spring is like the dawning sun.

Another lace of frost is spun,
the doily art, so brief, abates
the morning after winter's done.

So weary...

With Christmas Eve Now Dawning
With Christmas Eve now dawning
~

Fresh the scent winter breeze,
its whispered fragrant flow
Painted far horizons
of a sunset shimmered glow

Purest adoration finds
this chilly air so near
A frosted moon is rising
on this evening crystal clear

I pen this simple poem
as the twilight comes to meet,
filled with honest thank...

Another Day Is Dawning
Another day is dawning

The morning sun does slowly rise

A lighthouse stands at ease

Its silhouette of nights untold

A’ watch on velvet seas

A silent beach in glistened glow

Bids farewell to the tide

I walk this lonely stretch of sand

My thoughts collect inside

Counting steps, the marks they leave

Of places...

The Dawning of Love
'There is mystery in how we love,
but not in why...' Anne Michaels

Children high on a hill in the night,
carefully tracing their footsteps at first,
the countryside bandaged in moonlight.
Feeling the thrill and the fear of being
out beyond curfew as...

                  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I witnessed the dawn seraphic sapphire spike,
I marveled at the world's exquisiteness strike.
The colors shimmered in the first light glow,
Cleansed by nature's tears of the...
