“Put on the dauntless spirit of resolution”. ~ By William Shakespeare

Meet this dweller of the icy continent
Among the few, he is the chief occupant
Out in that territory, it is freezing cold
With nothing but a sea of whiteness to behold
In this far stretching desert of ice
Live the emperor penguins wise
They are birds erect, not designed for flight
Neatly dressed in suits of black and white
They remind us of nuns dressed in white
With hoods in black and souls contrite

The penguins thrive in snow and sleet
That to them is never an easy feat
Over the ice they smoothly waddle
And in water with flippers, they paddle

Strangely, it is in the peak of winter they breed
When nature goes scarce with food to feed
After a period of intimate courtship
Into responsible parenthood they slip
The female lays a single egg
Never one more, even if we beg
Right away she goes on a feeding spree
Appointing her husband as designee
To guard over the egg and keep close watch
Until the young one is ripe to hatch

Do you know how it incubates the egg?
He balances it on the feet of his leg

Till the young one is out, he refuses to eat or drink
A rare sacrifice of which we can hardly think
In this period, he thrives solely on body fat
And in course, he loses half his weight
At last, from the egg, when the chick is out
It is not allowed to go to the ice direct
But is locked inside the parent’s brood pouch
Where the little one feels comfy as on a couch
If it ever dares to venture out
It will freeze to death, no doubt

The emperors thus live on the razor edge of life
And their lives with challenges are rife
Yet with dauntless resolution, they face their fate
And against all adversities, their life they celebrate
With their densely packed layers of plumage
They keep their bodies from serious damage
When comes the blasting breath of the blizzards
As a precaution to skim over the hazards,
From their territories, they rally en bloc together
Huddling tight for warmth in the biting weather

Don’t you think the penguin is an emperor
Who subdues his hostile territory with prudent care?
A longer version of the bird’s dauntless endeavor is our life
An arduous climb through perils, pain and strife!

Quote: Put on the dauntless spirit of resolution.
By William Shakespeare *

Dauntless

Fearless as the moon on a non lit night
this old warrior soul of mine keeps on
settled within this omnipresent light
I feel safe here and I can do no harm

Undaunted in a sky filled with promise
a brave soldier both bold and valiant
is spirited through an Angel's dromos
by a catadromous hour, of fragment

Audacious as the stars that light the way
this former fighter willful as the rain
will search for his relief then seize the day
as even dregs of pain will soon refrain

This restlessness fighter soon will cease his roam,
then he will finally know, he reached His Home *

Dauntless

Her face was grim
An uneasy feeling crept inside
She hoped to be in a dream
But it was reality's flipside

Happiness started to drain
Down to an unknown horizon
Which caused immense pain
And away from reality she wanted to run

Having no choice, she tried to be strong,
Taking it like an obstacle
Yes, it did take real long
But her problems with guts, she did tackle

She was soft and weak at heart
Prior to all the mess
Presently she ain't even scared of the piercing dart
As now she's turned dauntless

Dauntless For Walt Whitman

THE DAUNTLESS CLIMBER

On the mountain climbs a cloud
                Who never fears retreat
                 Sensationally his climb excels
                 As other clouds he meets

                While longingly I--on the ground--
Would soar up if I could
To join his fearless one time climb
                Without the fear of blood

My heart, touched by the magic wand of the flowery fairy
Bloomed into a transparent and vapory bird
Seeking to break open the door of its cage
To feel life, to be immersed in its essence
To drown in its fantasy,
Fantasy which can be at times awakening
While at other times, soporific!

My heart, after having sipped the dew of its new dawn
Found the strength to break open its cage
And flew away, leaving me, in a most disorientated state
Why, without it, I no longer felt safe, I no longer felt warm
As I usually was with it, enlaced in between its steady beats!

Why, after having met with the alchemy of existence
My heart was free to morph into whatever it wanted
Of course, after having experienced life in all its forms
It chose to be human,
My heart, so innocent, now lived in the guise of femininity!

Pray, stubborn, I kept searching for it, found it
And lost it again times and again
But it would heed me not
My heart now had the sweet taste of freedom
In its mouth
Now, it was bent on jolting to life's fine-tuned
Symphonious ambience!

A river which glitters like a silver snake
Looked upon from this astonishing height
As it carves a chasm through the mountain stone
After centuries of persistent fight

Watching as the river forges on,
How can a person who has stood in awe
Think his life beset by harsh adversity
Believing to be crushed by one last straw

As he watches the waters tumble and flow
He might learn that to reach a long life goal
He needs only to hold one course through life
And that it helps to have a dauntless soul

Dauntless Thoughts

Sweet Ellie was sitting in the car one day,
and thought of the darnest thing to say,
she said, "mommy I know owls are nocturnal,
'cuz mommy owls are NOT TURTLES!"

Ellie had such a good sense of humor in mind,
seemed so tenderly gentle and kind,
but when mommy asked her not to do it again,
she said, "mommy close your eyes then!"

Ellie asked mommy what was in her hand,
she thought she somehow would understand,
mommy said, "Ellie it's a calculator for math",
"no mommy it's a calcuNOW", oh how she laughed.

She thinks of such silly things she can't comprehend,
like when mommy asks for a hand to lend,
Ellie says, "mommy I can't help right now,
I'm with Billy having a cow." She thought, WOW!

Ellie always wondered why ice cream she ate,
while mommy and daddy were on a bedroom date,
she'd stay up late and hear the noise they were making,
and that I've cream she had no trouble taking.

Sometimes mommy wonders what goes through her mind,
and the answers she just can't seem to find,
but she's mommy and daddy's little girl,
with enough dauntless thoughts to ruin the world!

To stand for truth, and take no guff.
To fly like an elegant eagle in the storm.
Oh, give me courage to be just like him.
To fight for truth and keep it warm!

"Put on the dauntless spirit of resolution" William Shakespeare

My passion arouses the pulsing of my heart.
My identity fearlessly embarks toward the start.

The confidence I muster surges dauntless of fear.
Embracing the boldness with a deafening cheer.

Greatness seethes within me, once held in store.
I will borrow courage from crusaders gone before.

All timid vibes that languished holding me at bay.
Have been hardened by an inner strength I portray.

If wrong erupts never more will there be silence.
An inner rage stopping short only at violence.

Without question with an all consuming power.
In honor of right, all hurtful deeds I will devour.

Injustice is rife, as some have no care for right.
My relentless spirit engages the courage to fight.

Without exemption my feelings wont subside.
I fearlessly speak for the down trodden with pride.

Fortitude to grasp the bull’s horns to mesmerize.
Fearlessly have the bravery to stare into its eyes.

Being the weaker gender is now just a myth.
Fertile conviction and diligence I am always with.

No bragging of honor, valor or victory is needed.
My compassion and purity is infrequently heeded.

I advance with the strength to stymie the foe.
Estimate from where I come, but see where I go.

Many of us in history have been dauntless in spirit.
I stand on my soap box and exclaim so you hear it.

A forthright attack on evil, with no hesitation.
Being submissive with piety were once my station.

A powerful flame within me has been ignited.
No longer a shrinking violet will ever be sighted.

Determination to expose injustice and right a wrong.
No need for an army or a masculine throng.

I have the will to succeed, fortitude to be bold,
Yet cruelty and vengeance I will withhold.

Victory shall ensue and transcend to a solution.
I will imbibe the dauntless spirit of resolution.

Title 4/ Dauntless
Quote:
"Put on the dauntless spirit of resolution." William Shakespeare

My daring and intrepid knight so strong,
this message is an urgent plea to you.
For your sweet kiss and fond embrace I long.
I have been captured. Now what can I do?
You promised me your hand in marriage, and
you're resolute; your promises you keep.
I’m in the tower of the castle grand,
held here by the king’s son. I weep and weep,
for knowing you are far away, yet I
have faith that you will come and rescue me.
My messenger will give me your reply.
I pray each day your face once more I’ll see.
Oh, dauntless knight, make haste because my fate
is in your hands. For your return I wait.

Dauntless

Quote: 'Put on the dauntless spirit of resolution' (King John, act 5, scene 1, lines 48–53) - William Shakespeare

Mutterings of awful shame
(a child’s bones)
vie for supremacy;
yet here you are, cowering incessantly.
You hide in a game of thrones.

Fie!
Put on the dauntless spirit of resolution, Sir!
Show courage in a worthy hopeless cause,
my Blade Runner, my bread-and-butter.

Show your true flag.
Ah yes, truth will not cover in glory;
that is the power of propaganda.
Begone, John Lackland;
they don’t like your story.

Magna Carta.
Charter of the law.

Gotcha.

Dauntless Courage

We trudge through life for unworthy causes,
and quite often it's too much of a great risk
to outlive those hardships and come out victorious;
but it's in fighting that we regain our lost strenght...

We build treasures
and see in them glimpses of restlessness,
never dauntless courage:
only to realize our bitter disppointments;
and the smallest victory seems
only a delusive dream,
falsely envisioned and capable
of drawing us to its realm...

Why should we take
the taunted mystery out of divination?
To make us aware of our realities
so riddled with self-doubt,
which won't require explanations,
considering only the ones worth-keeping
by simply avoiding those less-promising!
Will we be guided by a sense of intuition?

Rise above your pretentious state,
spark and enhance your aspirations;
and take in consideration
the truthful words of a wise man,
"Life can be a nurturing mother from within...
always giving us dauntless courage!"

Achievements are the fruit of planted dreams,
where the relentless and unrivaled spirit expresses
its emotions through fairness and truth;
and whenever a misguided soul
wanders off into the remotest darkness:
it will die without having felt
or possessed any significant worth!
And being held captive and deprived
of the simplest joys that ignite tears,
it will have no other reason to avenge!
And,all in all,it had wished
to have sought dauntless courage...

DAUNTLESS

Dauntless spirit like fearless lion
Braving the way unto mount Zion
Finding ways to mend the storm
Within the bounds of what is norm

Wounded and bleeding but stands tall
Rising up bravely after each fall
Like a soldier bound to fight
Until the last light of his sight

Not fearing giants and the ants
Fighting tall for what he wants
For, what he wants is what is right
Pouncing bravely with the light

He may be alone but he is mighty
He holds the reasons of the almighty
Against the tempests he stands strong
For, he knows, he does no wrong

Being Dauntless
Written: by Miracle man
1-20-2020

When younger I was dauntless,
and in thought yet remain.
But due to time passing,
things aren’t quite the same.

The times are long past,
when I would cede to no man.
If doting on intimidation,
one needed another game plan.

There have often been times,
when I have been bested.
But never before my nemesis,
will had been tested.

Now my ability has skedaddled,
and my life is most spent.
Yesteryear’s “giddy-up and go,”
has just “got up and went.”

“if you’re never scared or embarrassed or hurt,
it means you never take any chances”

Dauntless

It took every fiber in her being,
      Away from the horrific scene.
      To stood there,
She hopes the court will be fair.
Answer all these questions, when, why, how,
      Felt like an owl.
      Repeating herself,
When in her past they started to dwell.

      It happened so fast,
All she could remember was the blast.
Goliath was in front of the door,
Blocked her way, before she hit the floor.
She called on all her courage to face the ordeal.
Conjured David in her to appear

      Her dauntlessness grab the gun,
In a spun a new nightmare begun.
      The Headlines of the day.
Courageous was she, a valor received
