Title 4/ Dauntless
Quote:
"Put on the dauntless spirit of resolution." William Shakespeare

My daring and intrepid knight so strong,
this message is an urgent plea to you.
For your sweet kiss and fond embrace I long.
I have been captured. Now what can I do?
You promised me your hand in marriage, and
you're resolute; your promises you keep.
I’m in the tower of the castle grand,
held here by the king’s son. I weep and weep,
for knowing you are far away, yet I
have faith that you will come and rescue me.
My messenger will give me your reply.
I pray each day your face once more I’ll see.
Oh, dauntless knight, make haste because my fate
is in your hands. For your return I wait.

Andrea, well for her sake, I hope the knight gets the message and comes through. We're left to wonder here. You made a valiant plea and the sonnet is a pleasure to read. Great job!!

Andrea, this sonnet is a profound depiction of love and yearning, where each word elicits a feeling of haste and eager expectation. The rich and gripping vision of the captive damsel waiting for her heroic knight's salvation captivates the reader, immersing them in her difficult situation.

Your sonnet is a poignant portrayal of love and longing, with each line evoking a sense of urgency and anticipation. The imagery of the captured maiden awaiting her daring knight's rescue is vivid and compelling, drawing the reader into her plight. The contrast between her despair and her unwavering faith in her knight's promise is palpable, creating a tension that carries through to the heartfelt plea in the closing lines.
