Credo On the Dignity of Humankind

Credo on the Dignity of Humankind

My task is
to live
to love
to die like that.

Hallelujah!
It is enough.

A True Credo of Love

(To All Who Believe It Can Be Achieved)

Caucasoid, Mongoloid,and Negroid
Colour the conscience progression
of Man's ethical Truths...
The cultural aggressions of violence
and ignorance must end!
Extend your heart, hand and life
Towards the Precious Don of Honour...
Freely, keeping the sincere
Brotherly Creed

Comments: Brothers and Sisters it is time that we stand up and let the Love of God in, after
all we are all one in the same under the skin, so why not give it a grand try... One Love and
Many Blessings in Him Always, Adell

Premium Member Credo of An Old Soul

I love my family but am not wholeheartedly committed to them.

I am significantly detached from society as a whole itself.

I shall always embrace my inner child or inner self.

I am free to introspect and imagine as much as I want or even need to.

I hold gratefulness & appreciation: just never easy to sincerely express it fully.

I believe everyone is equally a potential hypocrite.

I think all things are "easy" to forgive, but some are hard to forget.

I research possible explanations for my personal spiritual beliefs.

I feel as if what you do in life only matters when it is recognized or "seen."

I feel as if people don't truly care too much about you or anyone else.

I can express myself however I want to, but only amongst loved ones.

I believe not in cliché love, I only believe in fleeting embraces and poetry.

I seem to lack empathy for others, but I am capable of personal feelings.

I have an eclectic mindset of beliefs; I am free to have it be this way for me.

I believe God is the Universe or a greater form of human consciousness.

I believe God is watching over me when the sun shines through the clouds.

I believe in the power of prayer, especially for things your soul desires.

I believe existential loneliness is a strong factor in my self-growth.

I believe I occasionally have pre-cognitive dreams.

I feel as if my little sister was born because of my prayer for her birth.

I often wonder and think about what could be my meaning or purpose in this life.

I believe all religions and beliefs lead to the same God.

I believe all deities are God Almighty manifested in many ways.

I believe in freedom of religion and tolerance for all sexual orientations.

I believe animals can intuitively know what you are feeling.

I believe that sometimes children know so much better than adults do.

I choose people who my intuition feels to be worthy of being my friends.

I feel as if I am fated to feel so alone in this world at times.

I retain my inner strength through the lonely times of my life.

My Credo

I listen because Sound is not dead, but living.

I listen because I hear life through a variety of sounds. Sounds shout, cry, sing, soothe, provoke, and sometimes even pause.

I don’t listen when sound is compromised, influenced, beaten, killed (to crush silence), overwhelming or even artificial. Sound is meant to be pure; it is meant to be thoughtless.

I listen to sounds that are powerful, but are inherently ignored.

I listen for those who don’t know how to listen. I listen for those who were taught to take pride in their work, that they forget to leave time to take pride in their world. Sound speaks to everybody, but very few listen. We are told to focus; focus on our work, ourselves, and on others. We are distracted by this ambient truth.

I listen to sounds in silence.

I listen because of Mother Nature’s cooing, soft sounds guiding my mind to wander and to be set free. Her pure, natural voice is a comfort for all those who take the time to listen. She is the creator of all natural sounds, residing in every living thing. She whispers and yells; she cries and laughs; she never stops speaking. Mother nature is found is silence.

I listen to sounds that are unaffected by us; the sound of an infant’s heartbeat; the sound of a mourning dove’s song; the sound of a river rushing. Pure sounds are everywhere, but are clouded by us.

I listen, but not always succeed. I am conquered by the artificial, industrial world. My mind is blurred by construction, the radio, buzzing lights, television, and all things that are fabricated by us. It is unnaturally natural to do so, and we can’t take the whole blame. The world has been transitioned into artificial headphones, muting the natural world, and barricading our ears. However, if we detach ourselves, we can listen, listen to pure sounds.

I listen because I heard the truth, and the truth has spoken to me.

Because sounds never stop; they never stop crying; they never stop laughing; they never stop speaking.

Sound will never die.

A Credo

Not all acquaintances
will become True Friends
but for them who do
male and female alike
i will bequeath
all those things
those honorable things
that lie embedded in
the special phrase
You are a True Friend of mine
as such i will
be there when you
are sick and lonely
i will be near
when you might
need an ear or
when you are
in despair
albeit in the
middle of the night
i will be there
in good times
and in bad
i can promise
you my loyalty
and assured support
material or moral
to you my true friend
i will never lie
nor cheat
let alone deceive
i will admit my errors
i will not use you
to polish my ego
and then
without a word
  . . . . . turn
my back on you
abandon you
or spit you out
like a bad taste
and then
in silence stride
away as if
you never existed
as this friendship
is forever

Credo

I have lost
I have been lost
I am lost

I have found
I have been found
I am found

I have hated
I have been hated
I am hated

I have loved
I have been loved
I am loved

Premium Member POETIC CREDO guidelines A TENSON TALK poem

CREDO-POETRY IS AN ORAL ART AT ITS BEST WHEN RECITED
                   it then becomes a two-way unique one-off.experience .
TRADITIONAL LINE CAPITALISATION RHYME ..in tetrameter (ABBA).YES..
but NOT otherwise as it creates a natural pause (ie it stilts) & thus disrupts the flow
WRAP AROUND LINES are a no-no
they are not visually conducive to read digitally or otherwise!
POETIC NO NO s -acrostic,kyrielle terzanelle villanelle ,pantoum & the 'syllablics'
they can be good for a learning exercise,a bit like scales are important when learning the piano but are too contrived & mechanical IMHO for our art form
PROSE POETRY ok if visually shaped in open form style*
FORMS THAT ALWAYS RING MY BELL shape, emagi & ekphrasis ,imagist Rhyme, alliteration, clerihew, footle&hiku*(both in the singular especially)

*OPEN VERSE uses spaces&breaks without grammatical symbols relies upon 'the one breath limitation' this intuitive cadence pemits the 'reader' (reciter) to respond in an interpretative - interplay unique to the ' happening

Speratu, Somnium and Credo - Hope, Dream and Believe

i.
I hope for my dreams with yearning...

as when mothers look for signs of new life
as when flowers peer towards the sky for rain
as when anger waits on patience for peace.

ii.
I taste my dreams with vision...

as when hungry people dream they are eating
as when thirsty people fantasize they are drinking
as when blind people visualise seeing.

iii.
I walk in faith with praising...

as when lame men, walk, and dance for His glory
as when mute men, talk, and start to sing His praises
as when dead men, revive, and live for His purpose.

iv
I've faith that my dreams have occurred.

That my hope is somehow,
reverse evidence shouting back to me to believe now.
That my visions are reflections of events set to come.
Unless my unbelief severs the cord of a birth yet to come

Live your best cheer with faith that frees,
Dance fond love here as hope moves spree.

Work fashions play to reap fond highs.

Live lovely path to touch and heal,
Love frames all stuff with fine goodwill.

Live true and brave with calm and peace,
Joy comes to save as love funds ease.

Live loving times in tact and act,
Let joy set rhymes in humble pact.

Live well each day your happy quest,
Dare to obey your highest best.

Love is the sign that tells on you,

Credo

Spirit will not be thwarted
it will move through even these circumstances
to call forth the truth
to bring about a healing that leads to wholeness
we are not alone
abandoned to darkness and confusion
but in our struggle with daily circumstance
grasp the essence of Source
and uncover our own tenacious hold on life

A Credo To Live By

Path of righteous indignity is mine.
Won't tolerate cruelty...
There but for grace goes I.

Credo For a Dark Night of the Soul

CREDO FOR A DARK NIGHT OF THE SOUL

No no no
Refuse to disbelieve
Shriek out in protest at the infidel
If no true love exists
Life is mere subsistence

The great hunger of the soul for communion
Becomes a lone peregrination
Of cold clay-heavy steps
In a black tunnel down
To a dead end in the ground

But

Believe two spirits can meet
And sense they are kin
A brother knows a sister’s familiar face
The windows of her soul are opened
By a familiar heart

Believe in love, in a life-light,
Know this is good, and right
A daily miracle
Like new-open buds or a baby born
A rare intensity and beauty, a dawn
