Premium Member A COLD WINTERs STEAMY

The staticky-stars climax under intense blanket of Winter glow.
Your spouse can’t see your spirited green eyes that burn slow.

The friction of campfire sticks, the satiny slipperiness of moon.
Flames of blue, orange and red won’t be overcome too soon.

Pert rose petals, that once were goosebumpy and ice cold,
scintillate like fireworks until the grand finale’s loosed, uncontrolled.

Warm breath in a cold Winter’s steamy and a restless beast.
Lips lavish over late night feast, matches singe, sate increased.

Squirming under the leisurely complement of coals, coalescing,
Coolness of a blue lake vaingloriously countering, distressing.

A long midnight’s thrashing, sans pillory; the high beams foray.
Pillow talk, a sensuous squeeze, a high-diving elixir bouquet.

Ah those stars brilliantly glowing on a long Winter’s night!
Those limbs blush, rose petals crush, with unfettered light.

The House of Fallon Dreams

"'He,' whom speaks into existence those things which were not as though, they are...." ~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Fables; to dream these seemingly impossible things!?
A compiling compound upon the pages of a lifes, forever tarnishing of stories....
Drinking this mixture of both poison and cure; night after night and, day upon day
Finding but, these mostly barren tainted walls; no repreives and no relief; vacancies
This continuing onslaughts never ceasing to slay, the spirit of a living hope ~
Until one day the precious heart so finds, no more air left to breathe; condemned
Slowly, it dies....
Depicting cycles repeating themselves once more as, deeper, into the mire they fall
Beauty desperately countering within; framed moments to stem, these portraits; illusions
Painted upon the canvas of creations reasons not knowing thus, nothing to win and or, lose?!
Destinies foreclosures; deposits towards the paradigms of, signed sealed and delivereds
Reciprocating affairs, amid the not so magical mystical mystery tours; misled....
Ponderings upon the reparians reflective waters; refrains perceptions; lost in the muse
Bleed me a river please and then, break me in two, time and time and time, again!?
Quondam sleeping now as, waxings cankerous sores somehow, speak their tolls
Tomorrows, priceless tears....
Diagnosis being it so hopeless then, let us gather in what we can, while we can; deja vu
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The house, of fallon dreams?!

Premium Member The Fighter

For most of his
Bumming around days
He was lost
In dead end jobs
Once in the gym
He became a silhouette of youth
Weaving like a cobra
Slipping
Countering
Learning how to hook
Footwork and poise
A moving target
Possessing  speed
And brutal power
Waiting
To connect
On
Flesh and bone.

All his life
He searched for what was missing
His dream
Was to be champion
Months
Years of solitary training
Was the price he gladly paid.

The ring waited
Patiently
Knowing that he lived for the moment
When all was a blur
Of sudden activity
Moving shadows
And the roar of the crowd.

Years go by
Another decade
Another time
The city moves on
In a singular rhythm all its own
For him
Time now stands still
In a quiet place
Of warm sunlight
Streaming through an open window
A place of
Old fight posters
And faded photographs.

He won a title
Had good times
Some laughs
Traveled with an entourage
Met the famous
Parties came and went
And so did his money.

Holding the yellowed clipping
The old thrill
Returned
He felt strong again
The bright lights were on
The roar of the crowd
Was louder than he ever remembered
The smart money and the ladies were in front
All eyes on him
Bobbing and weaving in the empty gym
He stopped to catch his breathe
Raising his hands in triumph
He knew that in the bottom of his gut
No matter what anyone said or did
In the ring
He had fought and lived like a champion.

A Piece of Peace

What I am doing is not idealism.
It’s a cause for our homeland.
It is also for the benefits of oppressed people.

And oppression should not reign
in the peaceful land of good people.
I may not live longer in this world
and I knew I will die as others will be.

It would be better to help fight for peace in peace
than fighting for peace by war.
There is nothing good to achieve by raging war
and countering war by war.

Peace had become a common piece like candies.
Any person has the right to embrace peace
even only a piece of peace like sweets,
but not a piece in a war for peace!
Let us taste this piece of peace.

I love you peace.

My Garden

MY GARDEN

It’s only rose rains, no reins.
in my   garden  redolent
of you preened and  green.
brainwashed  by  balance sheets ,
soul-washed  by  sour names,
what remains as mine.
remnants ? residue?  Desiccation?, no!
a sanguine touch,  solitude?, yes!

wanted  or bonded
flushed or fleshed,
secretive or secreting
dry like a silver skyline
or wet like  winter sweat
its  contours  solemn-countering ,
confines groping in green, serene ..
come on in..

How you made my stars hush

How fortunate I have been,
having found a shining ray,
Through darkness unseen,
creep over my lifeless clay,

Waking me up of long sleep,
and flattened heart beats,
Touching soul to its deep,
and countering all deceits,

You've made my stars hush,
rainbow colours, twinkle in eyes,
Painted with your magical brush,
perfect hues in canvas of my sky !

Aurifying from ponderous to agile,
How have you doctored me to live with a smile!

The Battle, The Victory, The Light

I remember you, great destroyer of heart
emerging from darkness to hatefully start
Battles taken to wing and skyward bound
pain, death and sorrow so, so easily found!

No praise ever adorns your so vile name
curses your bread , your dark wicked fame
Ashes reform to give you such an evil way
miseries abound as you cut, slash and slay!

Seek no victory over my greatest stand
living within truth , my way , my plan
I remember well your late night knock
rejected, you fled quickly in total shock!

I remember you , eater of darkened Souls
slayer of dreams with eyes of black coal
Fangs sharpened on the sandrock in Hell
curses from victims under your dark spell!

Slink away, I curse your murdering spirit
truth slays you as you try not to hear it
I carry the armor of the bright Lord today
flee, flee or else dark life you must pay!

Sword of Love drawn now in countering you
spear of justice gives out your just due
A chant of faith sets seal to your fate
souls freed, all that your darkness ate!

Wrote this about 27 years ago....
Rewrote it today and added ten more lines so giving
it today's date..

Light utterly destroys darkness.
In time, good utterly destroys evil.
Man , must understand time yields only to God....

Premium Member Fight Night

We had gathered 'round the radio, to listen to the fight
 A dispute ensued, punches thrown, a bloody fight

 Cigarette butts strewn across the floor, some stained in lipstick- red
A broken ashtray by the door where some blood was shed.
By an old typewriter something shiny lay
A gold earring, lost in the fray

It was a helluva  fight,
 Max throwing lefts
 Joe countering with rights
Not to mention our own lefts and rights
But it was Max who wore the crown that night.

 Two years later I bought an airline ticket
To see the much anticipated rematch
 I thought Schmeling would retain the crown
 But my hopes were dashed when Louis ended it in one

 A few years later the world was at war
 I found myself on a distant shore, fighting the Nazis ......

Blood and gore, horrors of war...

 Dead bodies strewn across the fields, stained in crimson red
 Broken dreams lay in gutters, where their blood was shed

Doubt

Permanent resident
You have become…
My heart, your doorstep…my mind is numb
Swimming and sliding about my soul
Leaking and seeping till you’ve covered the whole
However you entered is puzzlement pure
But alas, there you are; and not leaving, I’m sure
Antidote once: countering my flagrant egotism
Now you have tainted me, quite beyond reason
The cure, it seems, has surpassed the disease
With debilitating neediness I no longer wish to appease
So go with your play-pretend doctor’s routine
And find someone sicker to ply and demean
My inclination to uncertainty has finally waned
I’m done with your presence;
I will keep washing away
Evidence
Of your
Stains

The Brawl

For the moment I merely watched him
Running back and forth in his home
I am patient you see
I am full of time plenty
I am the sly one in the darkness and I am hungry

So I waited, all day I waited,
All night I waited, I waited, waited, waited
And in the morning he came out of his house
I waited no more

I struck like a black bolt of lightning streaking down from the heavens
As if Death itself had ripped across space to sever everything with its scythe
I screamed down from heaven and struck

Only to find him leaping up and over me
To tumble in the air and land behind me
I landed in a crouch...
Peering around over my shoulder I gleamed at him

He for his sake I saw glaring back at me balefully with eyes and one hand beckoning me

I snarled

Spun around and lashed out with my whip as I did
He ducked it,

With the speed of sound my fist struck him
He blocked it

Out came my foot, and then the other
He evaded the first, and caught the second
I rolled and struck him across his face with the first

Again I landed on my feet

He staggered back and with a back flip he was ready once more...

He wiped his nose with one hand
Bade me come at him again with the other
A sly half grin on his lips

I charged this impudent fool
Changed direction, spun around
Out came my whip
Out came my foot
And he leaped over my whip
Flipped between my foot
And struck me twice with his own
light kicks to the face meant to shock me more than hurt me

We parted and circled each other
Looking for openings in the other's defenses

And there because I am patient I found it
A chink in his armour of skill and technique

He was mine
Again I rushed him in one smooth fluid motion
Twin kicks, the whip, my fists, and head butt, knees and elbows
In blinding fury, speed and in the space between thought it was over...

He retreated blocking the kicks,
Ducking the whip,
Avoiding the fists left then right
Catching the head butt in his hands
Countering the knees with his knees
The elbows with his elbows
And then...
He did the impossible
He

Defeated me

Rolling backwards he slammed my head into the wall,
Sliding from beneath my crumpling body with his feet
To stand ready inches from my limping body

I remember thinking then as my eyes closed to the world
"That's one damn tough hamster," I get out of the Kitty Clinic in two days

I want a rematch

Awakening To Summer Color

Shades of Awakening

Cool of the moon dampened the heat of the sun.
Corals of sleep invigorate the restful one.

Falling awake on this crystal clear morn,
Into cerulean, my soul is born.

Naked and relaxed, aquamarine inspired,
Freedom of expression aligns, with what is desired.

Torso eases heavenward, raising the headless mind higher,
The soul whispers chartreuse, countering any mire.

The nose is the first to welcome, summer’s warm breath,
Lilac reminiscence, of youthful ambition’s clash with death.

Eyes ease open with a newborn's stare,
Taking lavender and wonder, of what may be there.

The sun’s rays creep evermore slowly into morning’s night.
Providing focus and saffron, toward the One true Light.

Silent beauty abounds, and finally words begin to take shape,
Lemon thoughts of what may lie beyond the drape.

With a backward bounce rolling into an upward leap,
A tangerine mind set robs gravity of its attempt to keep.

As if steadied with a rare watermelon tourmaline,
The first step of the day brims with summertime hues unforeseen.

The Heartbreak

Some people leave us without any reason,
We are left in treason.
The memories remain as if in prison,
Because they don't tend to erase with season.

We slowly in our thoughts resign
All those fake smiles we do design.
Remembering those moments so pristine,
we ourselves to our past assign.

Slowly succumbing to depression,
Habituating ourselves to aggression
We lead our life with confusion,
Wondering the reason for this intrusion.

Losing eventually the smallest of perfections,
We tend to malfunction.
Our heart slowly slipping away to detention,
We cry ourselves to sleep in desperation.

Waiting if there would be any hope,
But our conscience countering with a nope
We do ourselves dope,
With the drug called depression we cope.

Not Blind Idealism

What I am doing is not
blind idealism as you call it.
It’s a just cause for my homeland.
It is a fight for the sake of those I love:
my children, grandchildren, parents, siblings
neighbours, my Tausug brethren who's
been suffering for so long.

Oppression should not reign
in the land of peaceful people.
I may not live longer in this world,
and I know I will die as others do.
But this I say: I will fight for
peace 'til my last breath

I fight for peace, but always in peace.
Nothing good can be achieved by raging war
and countering war by war.
With violence comes only pain
and death. This is not what I want.

Peace is as common as candies.
Any person has the right to embrace peace.
Like my elders before me, I’ve been wanting
peace. I want to taste even just a piece of it.
Amid this war that’s seemingly endless
I see a glimpse of it. It exists, I know.
We’ll find this piece of peace.
But only when we do so together,
in peace.

I love you peace.
