They stood and watched in horror
Their teacher was being burned alive.
Committed by what, they call themselves humans,
One hundred and thirty two children died.
What were they guilty of, what was their crime
They supported Malala and her Nobel peace prize
The Murdering Taliban's tried to kill her once
All because she wanted an education to improve girls lives
They lay there pretending to be dead
Holding their breadth when insurgents passed by,
Who killed with a smile on their face,
Only way to survive was hard not to cry.
Schools you would think were safe places
We can see now that this isn't so
Pupils at This Army Public School *
Take their lives in their hands whenever they go.
Wailing mothers are crying, wringing their hands in grief,
Why must children die how do these murderers sleep.
Penned on September 7th 2015.

Ill fated
Life was so smooth
until one condemned evening
They bundled her up in a van
and then took to a deserted place,
She could sense her misfortune
to their sarcastic smiles,
A sense of hatred and agony
watered clear in her helpless eyes,
Treated as a vegetable
for no fault of hers,
Stripped of her modesty
was it a male pride ?
Five of them and her subtle being,
not a stitch on as the body shivered bare,
Hunger for flesh, scarring the soul,
wonder her strength to survive that scare,
Not a human being, she was just a consume,
rights can we talk as insane hooligans roam ?
Pity them for the crime not so heinous ?
or punish for murder of the soul as well ?
Unconscious they threw her on road to die,
to hospital she was taken by a passer by,
There was no end to the ill luck,
label of a rape victim dumbstruck,
Inquests, courts and then the ugly game,
in name of law, it was such a shame,
Her bubbly heard bled, stabbing cry,
Ripped soul could heave no sigh,
An year now, guilty roam free as tears burst,
as if females are born to quench their thirst,
Why not teach our sons to respect ?
Ill fated or is it our bringing up neglect ?
Quick justice the need of the hour,
she is no lust, she is a man's power,
Can sons ever prosper at daughters' price ?
Hold the flame high against gender crime rise !!

For Charlotte's "controversial" contest
dedicated to all brave victims- lost or won the battle, but have given a tough fight.
It was the early 60’s where rock and roll was
Taking over the land, and ELVIS was on tour with his band.
Where rock and roll was stories being told
And the teen life was starting to unfold.
We had race riots in the southern states
And black rights were up for debate.
An era of KENNEDY and KING where peaceful
Solutions they would try to bring.
Both assassinated at a young age
Because they tried to bring some change.
An Era where gas was cheap and wages low
And it cost fifty cents to see a show.
A time of the CUBAN missile crisis and VIETNAM
And protesters were taking a stand.
Then this country was taken by storm
And draft dodging became the norm.
Although some of the 60’s was a living hell
It gave me fond memories as well.
Drive in theatres – not many to be found
But one or two are still around.
We’d be able to back in to the drive in theatre
With a little luck- in our 53 pickup truck.
The speakers attached to the window of the door
The volume turned down very low
And the windows were rolled up so no one would know
Or- we would lie in the back of the truck
With a blanket or two
Depending on what we wanted to do.
This was the 60’s that I recall where most
Everyone had a ball.
Stupid is, as Stupid does:
And then there is Stupid;
That Stupid never was.
Stupid had a moment:
Where Stupid had a Choice;
But, Stupid never did:
Cause Stupid never Voiced.
So, this Stupid that is talked about:
Stupid, it; had something to say.
But, it is Clever: this Stupid did shout;
Cause I saw this Stupid shout it anyway.
Stupid ran all over the place:
Stupid would run, run, run;
But not a trace, this Stupids haste.
Stupid is running everywhere:
Even Stupid ran, in its despair;
Stupid never gave up, in its pace:
Stupid was never in such a race.
Stupid can be cruel; perhaps, Stupid is a Fool:
But do not think that; Stupid isn't Cool;
Cause, some of the Stupidity out there Fuel;
Sometimes we as human uses; Stupid; as a Tool.
The stuff is pain-free,
low cost,
keeps tempers down,
wins friends,
makes wars obsolete,
feels good, and combats aggressive behaviors
among the children.
In fact, the very wise once stood for it,
taught it,
lived by it
and tried to change the world.
Their names were quite well-known:
Jesus, Mohandas, Martin, Dag, Dennis, Allen.
We praised them for their greatness and their fame--
but stopped our ears at what they said.
A few still live--the rest
have faded fast away into a memory
that most can scarcely dream--
indeed, will scarcely have the time
after the toys are gathered up,
the video games shut down,
the internet in slumber mode--
and yes, last quarter coming up
for that big football match
upon the giant 60 inch TV
that we added in the den.
Oh yes, that too displays
a bit of violence now and then.
But, what ya gonna do?
We live in the 21st century, now.

Rehearsal for Being Controversial
Had a rehearsal
For being controversial;
Trump's whole staff was great.
See that he is keeping KellyAnn
off of TV and in public for awhile.

Ignorance is bliss.
No one will blend things
Into the bittersweet truth.
When everyone worships
Different things…
They bring in warships.

"Under the Skin" is a movie in which she plays an alien who needs to eat men to
sustain herself. It was a controversial sci-fi movie that people either loved or hated. Hope the made up word comes through: Fant as beginning of "fantastic"
Similarities and differences amongst all living humans will always exist though people will never be certain exactly what follows their final breath. Only faith and hope can truly provide us our next step when there's nothing left.
Scorned and scorched by the flames of the sun
Burnt by hell’s fire, her reign’s begun
I tremble with fear of the chosen one
Ballsy, cocky, arrogance well hung
This talentless slander seems to be fun
(k)No(W) judgment or guilt, excuse the pun
But if the shoe fits, wear it and run
While tucking tail, think temple and gun
and Russian roulette or combustion
Stick a fork in yourself, you’re overdone
Fate
A controversial topic
To be discussed
A puzzle to be solved
A dilemma to be escaped
As
It comes like the wind
It can change directions
It comes like the cloud
It changes every minute
It comes like the rain
It covers a big area
It strikes one
And collapses the other
It causes heartbroken
It gives no sympathy
It follows no rules
One cannot appeal
All of a sudden
One has no preparation
And no choice
Especially sickness that's
Hard to cure
That will carry away loved ones
That will make many suffer
But helpless
Is fate man's sin over centuries
No matter whatsever it's
No matter whatsever is ahead
For the time being
One still has to struggle
Because one feels grateful
To be alive
To meet his loved ones
To love and to be loved
Listen with a sharp perception,
and if you disagree, put your opinion on hold,
until I have finished speaking;
don't point out my stubbornness on intention,
and make me feel I'm really so old...
in a land where expressions are not restricted,
and words are spoken with a freedom so rampant:
take in consideration what I'm saying!
And this debate between two controversial minds,
is being attended by an audience of different ages;
let them decide who can make that change in society
and be elected to the Presidency of the wealthiest Country!
I admire the boldness in your speech,
the great effort you put into each;
and if they choose you, " I'll be glad to honor that...
and will they prefer me over you: I'll happily shout to that! "
They have been exposing our most horrible mistakes
as we shamelessly and viciously have attacked each other,
shouting and ensuing rage in front of a Nation much in dire;
even the clowns in the circus have a reason to deride,
to imitate us for our insulting and inappropriate jokes:
when their Nation is engaged in war, and facing turmoil,
and while the impatient troops are anxious to come home...
by air and by sea and be safe in their impregnable fortress!
Our fateful day is only days away and our supporters cheer,
on November 4, 2008...whatever happens, whoever is chosen by sunrise:
let's not hold every grudge, but quickly forget those words thrown at each other;
they need us, and they'll be happy to see one of us in sheer glee...
our hands are of a different color, but we almost fight for the same cause:
let's shake them in a friendly gesture and ask God for guidance!
Yes, our people we'll keep the peace and the Country will prosper indeed...
while the triumphant trumpets will claim this victory across our jubilant Land!

A friend so controversial,
Cried to me the other day
I wept too.
But she asked me;
“Dear, why do you cry?
“I am only too happy with you
Reason for my tears”, she intimated
Then we started crying together
In the dance of shadows, secrets unfold,
A controversial tale, daring and bold.
A shadow's embrace, a silent connection,
Whispers of obsession, a hidden reflection.
Stalking in rhythm, a dubious affair,
In the moonlit glow, temptation's snare.
Priceless moments, or a dangerous game?
Seducing shadows, fueling the flame.
Star-studded wishes, a clandestine plea,
Moonlight conspiracies, enticing and free.
Breaths intertwined, a forbidden delight,
As figures stroll under the veiled night.
Old followers yearn for solace and grace,
In the persuasive musings, a controversial chase.
A silhouette's dance, a provocative sight,
In the controversial verses of the night.
