Life around me
Lose control
Price of energy
Eats you whole
Consume
Attain
Distract
Disdain
Life betray you
Purpose lost
Love thy neighbour
Whatever the cost
Consume the falicy
Attain more... MORE
Distract from the dying
Disdainful dead next door
Consumer act
Consumers consuming and submerging till they are consumed and spat out when they die
Isn’t it funny to think consumerism is all about tomorrow and when and why?
Consuming effort to think what people want is the defining point of an era of buy by buy
Immersed in a struggle to want only the best of things until you realise what crap is on a skip near by
Do we really need all of this in our lives or are we a bunch of wankers wanking to get high
I think of the globe as one big shopping mall and in some countries they have precious things on their shelves to sell as they’re not shy
A lot of countries have realised that being friends with the bigger boys’ means that they can borrow these things for a while but the cost will cripple them then they will cry
Never mind little country I’m sure someone will help you if your people start to starve or begin to realise their government was a big fat lie
Keep on consuming that’s what I say because one day the Earth will ask for its goods back or we will all go to heaven as long as you haven’t consumed anything you shouldn’t or to hell with you which is a bit like living in Dubai.
Stop resenting me
For the way I shop
The things I do
To make sure
My food is fresh
I confess I feel blueberries
In my fingers
To make sure they are firm
Not too ripe
I confess I shake
Cans of spaghetti and ravioli
So that I know
The sauce is not
Congealed
I confess I pull frozen waffles
From the back of the freezer
Less likely that they thawed
And refroze into
Oddball shapes
I confess I smell trout
Before I buy it
Placing it against my nose
In the most unabashed
Way
Spare me your hate
About my consumer habits
When I know it has nothing to do with
Food
As long as I bring you warm release
In the darkness of your desires
Pull your tangled hair the way
You like
Bite your darting tongue
In mad hunger
Deep appetite
As long as I reawaken the
Woman
Primal animal hidden
Within
Turn your heat into a river
For a long passionate
Swim
As long as I attend quickly to your
Every lusty command
The craving of your nympho
Insatiable
Demand
Then I can squeeze french bread
In quiet and peace
I can sniff cantaloupes
Without suffering ire
Or grief
I’ll take you tonight
In that filthy way
You like
Until then
Leave me alone
I’m shopping.
" Cut from here" are the words printed on the chips packet
with image of the scissors but irony is that
one is carry the scissors if thinks of having the stuff
Have no pity for the overweight,
the out of breath at the garden gate,
the struggling in and out of cars,
cnsumer of syrup and chocolate bars.
Walking sticks and mobility scooters,
the difficult bras encasing hooters.
Red faced men and lard arsed women,
their promise of tomorrow slimming.
Condemn me now, I'm for the blaming,
in this campaign, this body shaming.
So many things beyond control,
my ugly skin and shallow soul,
but when I walk I leave no hole.
People say I'm out of touch,
I think that we accept too much,
fat piggy people should disgust.
Their need,
selfish
greed,
want,
desire,
gluttony,
feed,
pig,
and
opinionated.
Big is beautiful,
big and proud.
And all the while,
the dying sound,
cry of starvation,
die of starvation,
you,
You lie of starvation!
because the pudding was not chocolaty enough!
because there is no ice cream left,
if your wanting mouth needs to consume,
feast on torment of starving children,
drink only tears of broken mothers.
The consumer is said to be
The all-right-man
But it hardly exists
Hegemony is never welcomed
Consumer too has to obey regulations
Follow SOP
On a visit to shops
When buying goods
Has to bear the result of inflation
Prices soaring up high
Subject to tricks and dishonesty
of businessman
A win-win-situation is welcomed instead
The world is made for everyone
To survive
My brothers and sisters
Listen to this
We spend our money
And this is not a myth
We contribute to this society
We contribute to this world
It is our money
That can make a head twirl
Estimated 300 (+) billion dollars spent last year
And 270 (+) billion spent the year before
Spending money in this world
Like never before
We keep the economy going
We keep the money stacked high
We keep big wigs pockets filled
But what about you
How much money do you make?
How much do you let the economy take?
How much money do you spend?
Until you’ve reached the very end
And we continue to do so
Day after day, week after week
Realize our power, it is not bleek
We purchase an assortment of valuables
Spending money on so many things
Styling and profiling
While continuously buying
Making this world rich
Ain’t that a trip!
Then you can’t get a loan
To buy you a home
I’m not talking about those who have jacked up their credit
I’m talking about the ones who have the money to make it
But discrimination and predatory lending
Attempts to stop you from spending
Or building
For what every hard-working person is striving for
A house, a home, just having your own
Being sought out on job applications
Codes based upon the races
Not getting hired because of the color of your skin
When will this madness end!
But you can continue to buy the products the company makes
Keeping them rich, while they want to hate?
Realize the power of your pocket
Of your wallet
We are not the majority?
Now that is some bull
We are the ones with the true pull
Try not buying one single thing
In any given day
Watch how the economy
Crashes in such a nasty way
We can make it or break it in 24 hours
Can I say this any LOUDER!
So to hell with what people say
About my race of people
How about that for humor?
Recognize, we are the Number 1 Consumer

Being bigger, better, faster, stronger
These modern times, a far cry from
Being saner, kinder, gentler, wiser,
Are a cancerous race to satisfy the insatiable.
With our advance into abundance
We have lost touch
With the old world
Of tradition, balance, moderation, restraint.
Instead we now have all that we dream,
Each of us a Midas
Able to grasp
If not ever hold.
Able to spoil and pervert
All that we touch, taste, and feel
The everyday and mundane
With the rare and exceptional.
Now we each deserve it all
To have our cake and eat it too
With all the lust and greed, envy and resentment
That comes with limitless expectation.
No longer tempered in desire
By limits
Self or other imposed
We grasp for the highest fruit.
Confident as in a dream
We will fly
When we lose our grip
And fall.

Exchanging passionate pleasures surrounding myself yet
Open ended streams of love grandeur facade never denying
Those heart strings being strung played by consumers band marching

August 30 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on Zephaniah 1-3
Key Verse – Zephaniah 1:2 I will utterly consume all things from off the land, saith the LORD.
LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY SIN-CONSUMER
Lord God, You are my sin-Consumer, especially of my stubbornness
Thank You for stretching Your hand of forgiveness
With Your goodness that brings peacefulness
So that I can depart from wickedness.
Lord God, You are my sin-Consumer, especially of my pride’s noise
Thank You for extending Your help to guard my Christian poise
With Your fence of humility and tower of protection’s voice
So that I can dwell in Your meekness-favour wherein I rejoice.
Lord God, You are my sin-Consumer, especially of my desire for vain glory
Thank You for sending Your warning to drive my soul to Your holy territory
With Your power to free me from captivity of carnality’s misery
So that I can share Your Gospel story toward heavenly victory.
Lord God, You are my sin-Consumer, especially of my spoiling selfish addiction
Thank You for magnifying Your grace-action and compassion-function
With Your work of loving transformation along ready sanctification
So that I can testify always about Your granted assurance of salvation.
Lord God, You are my sin-Consumer, especially of my motives so filthy
Thank You for pouring Your cleansing water for me to be spiritually healthy
With Your light of wisdom making me divinely wealthy
So that I can receive Your instructions, verily precious and worthy.
Lord God, You are my sin-Consumer, especially of my devouring jealousy
Thank You for reinforcing my service commitment of consistency
With Your discipline to admonish my negligence and complacency
So that I can cling to You, along Your truth and mercy.
Lord God, You are my sin-Consumer, especially of my false judgment
Thank You for illumining my mind toward proper discernment
With Your counsel from Your Word’s enlightenment
So that I can live for You by Your empowerment.

His disposition sweet and sour
Laden personality stuck by the hour
A water bearer an Aquarius
Hot pink, missing link
An unusual unconstitutional cunning consumer man
Just buying time crossing righteousness line
Doused in the oils at the fragrances of sinner strands
Adjust how can he stand
He needs to be reprimand
Snow day in the middle of summer
Spotlight shadows in the bright
Double jointed Gemini
Double piercing blinking eyes
And unusual unconstitutional cunning consumer man
Just buying time crossing righteousness line
Dressed in a suit of unrighteousness in flaming pants
Missing Link hot pink
Sinner man happen stands

They say the root of all evil is money
Taking from everyone with their cunning
I think most Americans would agree
Their having trouble feeding their family
Going to the grocery store is extreme
Charging too much due to greed
Don’t care about the people’s needs
Paying too much to feed the family
Gas prices are through the roof
Making it expensive to go to work
Work from home if you can
To survive you need a plan
The cost of living is destroying us
Many can’t make it and are going bust
Keeping are cars until they rust
Survival for some is in “God We Trust”
Property taxes cause rage
Many can’t afford their mortgage
Rents are out of control
Causing many young adults to stay at home
Interest rates are so high
No one can afford to buy
Businesses are closing locations
After many generations
What can we do to survive
Being pushed forward due to pride
Proving we are tough
To stubborn to give up
