My brothers and sisters

Listen to this

We spend our money

And this is not a myth

We contribute to this society

We contribute to this world

It is our money

That can make a head twirl

Estimated 300 (+) billion dollars spent last year

And 270 (+) billion spent the year before

Spending money in this world

Like never before

We keep the economy going

We keep the money stacked high

We keep big wigs pockets filled

But what about you

How much money do you make?

How much do you let the economy take?

How much money do you spend?

Until you’ve reached the very end

And we continue to do so

Day after day, week after week

Realize our power, it is not bleek

We purchase an assortment of valuables

Spending money on so many things

Styling and profiling

While continuously buying

Making this world rich

Ain’t that a trip!

Then you can’t get a loan

To buy you a home

I’m not talking about those who have jacked up their credit

I’m talking about the ones who have the money to make it

But discrimination and predatory lending

Attempts to stop you from spending

Or building

For what every hard-working person is striving for

A house, a home, just having your own

Being sought out on job applications

Codes based upon the races

Not getting hired because of the color of your skin

When will this madness end!

But you can continue to buy the products the company makes

Keeping them rich, while they want to hate?

Realize the power of your pocket

Of your wallet

We are not the majority?

Now that is some bull

We are the ones with the true pull

Try not buying one single thing

In any given day

Watch how the economy

Crashes in such a nasty way

We can make it or break it in 24 hours

Can I say this any LOUDER!

So to hell with what people say

About my race of people

How about that for humor?

Recognize, we are the Number 1 Consumer
