Premium Member Under the Stars - the Compound Word Verse

Under the Stars

The cobalt sky has many eyes;
they're brightest just before sunrise
as starlight.

Sprinkled amidst the indigo
we stop to let the sandman sow
his stardust.

Glittering `cross the peaceful night
we view a shooting star take flight;
we're starstruck.

The sky becomes a starlit show
as sea reflects its silver glow,
so starbright.

In awe we kiss and say goodnight.
I watch as you walk from my sight,
soft . . . starlit.

School Days

School day memories,
Were Maths and literacy,
Did compound interest, you see,
Before decimal currency,
Had no calculators,
Used our brains, good for later!

Liquid Chemical Compound In My Face

I rolled my finger around in my cheeks
it was some kind of liquid
deliver there by a unseen evil dirty needle
I should have freaked the hell out
but I was in mind bending shock
definitely destroyed
saying to myself
don't be destroyed, don't be destroyed
DON'T BE DESTROYED
do your crying on the inside
be in devastation quite quietly
don't let them hear you cry
well that may be to late
the cheek puddle get smaller and smaller
each day, but I can still see the needle marks
and the left side of my face is swollen like
like i have a sugary premature cavity

when did this take place i can not say
where did this happen i so do not, not know
only want it to stop, and if not
then just to warn the young...

Letter In the Compound Future

One day you won't hear me singing at the very
hour, place and perfect time where the world turns
dead nature.

Make some holes to the bucket full of
feelings I gave you while I was stealing the
lymph of life.

My silence kicks the pulsing waiting
spirit but gray is a no land color born
by an incest

You had me but couldn't see , you saw me and couldn't have
sad as the fate of pain that roams through the
human memory.

It will be cold, my Life, more sour
the pain of the leaving silhouette
until...

A kitten snores on the soft couch telling
the cats' history because you'll still breathe
anyway...

I'd find a happy ending for you, if only
I didn't know you had it through your fingers
already...

Premium Member Hate {relative Compound}

Emptiness is hatefulness
I once was hateful
Learn to let go of your hate

The Compound (Hotel California 2002)

A bad taste washes around my mouth,
I screw up my face to spit it all out.
Over Nevada desert and endless sands,
This nightmare place such lonesome land.
Dark night skies over high wind seas,
Sat on the shore, it washes over me.
Blue washed to black as black became deep,
To unknown depths these weak limbs sink.
Darkness, darkness pushing me around,
I stand to fight, but always fall down.
Darkness, darkness covering this compound,
I've searched for light but it's unfound.

What Day Is It

I sit dazed, distracted, withdrawn,
wondering is it dusk or dawn?
whence daybreak?

Shelter in place is perplexing;
changes in routines quite vexing
all daylong

I dozed awhile this afternoon.
pondering quarantine past June?
bad daydreams

Arising from my computer,
Coronavirus, my tutor,
worse daymare.

“Wash hands, wear masks, find a clean glove”.
This pandemic scares ME out of
the daylights.

Universe: Equals All of U, N, I, and Beyond Skin-Edges

I
We may imagine 7-10 billion humans are too numerous for individual significance. Wrong.
II
Our solar system has one sun-star that fuels many planets, all of earths life
III
UNIverse really includes all of time, space, stars, voids, mass/energy, the cosmic web ....
IV
The limits of light years (LY) can be surpassed by infrared radiation as a measure; a multiverse likely lies beyond our current LY and "particle horizons."
V
Reversing the perspective ... Time-space "sees" 7-10 billion human-stars rather limited resources, valued, making each one COUNT

NOTES:
1. There may be 400 billion stars in The Milky Way galaxy; yet it's minuscule compared to the enormity of all of what we call universe

2. The diameter of the universe may be 93 billion Light Years (LY in diameter). Guestimates say the universe has 2-10 trillion galaxies & about 1 septillian stars in all. Add voids, and electrons, gases, sub atomic particles AND the cosmic scale can hardly be imagined. So even 9 or 59 billion humans are not too many to be valued in and by the universe ( hiding in micro - and - macro-universe).

3. Simplest translation: the human skin is not a limit or edge, but a porous net to catch, do osmosis with, interact with the biggest environment we will ever experience.

4. The human-being is a "device" for time travel with timespace. For instance, we see Alpha Centauri's light at NOT in "real time" (but as it began leaving 4.5 years ago) and that's just our nearest neighbor. Light from stars is PAST, began arriving our way LY ago. Shalom Starlight Siblings!
