Waves
wander
unrestrained
far out to sea
in impassioned mood
relentlessly striving
to discover the allure
of an elusive horizon.
Undaunted I follow in their wake…
A life fraught with the unpredictable.

They wonder at my doubt
and laugh at my hesitation
-if they even care-
while they smile as if they understand the world.
Do they ever stop to consider
a feather floating by on the wind?
Can they tell me its weight,
the species of bird,
how long it's been separated,
where it's been,
or what it is -
every rung on the twisted ladder
of its genetic fingerprint,
every molecule, every atom,
and the forces that dictate its structure?
Somehow, I doubt it.
But this, as all else, they claim to understand.

In nature’s pool, away from the moon
jellyfish, those rose tinted wonders
of illuminated buoyancy, my ankles avoid
the terror of tentacles where a perfect
CocoCay day, would not be, to be stung.
In nature’s pool, absorbing the sun’s zeal
and sighting seagulls above the waterline.
I see, with my itty body immersed in manifold
drops - the sea and sky glide overhead
in camouflaged wings of turquoise. Oh God!
Complexity and perspective, latitude and
longitude - yes, God is that specific - shows
up where we are. This poet’s grappling
with weak words. Oh God! Your glory
swims all around, flies over me…I jump with joy.

There are some who live by fear
And there are those who live by love
Those who believe their perceptions
Should not be constrained or altered
There are some who think belief
Should be guided and dictated
They believe in the doctrines
Which relieve them of any responsibility
And all their laws and rules
Tell them how things should be
And damned be they to hell
All those who think and act a little differently
There are some who see
The shadow cast upon this world
And in the darkness of its aggression
They are forced to do as they are told
There are some who cannot close their eyes
Nor willingly close their heart and mind
To the inflicted suffering
Of their fellow human beings
There are some for whom this knowledge
Is an icicle in their soul
And it writes itself into every aspect
Of the false and intimidated world
And although their love and caring
Reaches out to all
They are confronted by the medium
Of a cold and thoughtless wall
There are some who consider
Beauty a mere encrustation of the scene
A pretty decoration
In the garden of their concrete
They look ever for the quality
They are to receive
From the payment
Of its service
There are those among us
Who do not care
In which way
You express devotion
They do not give a single thought
To your race
Your colour
Or religion
It is they who see
All the diversity inherent in all its propensity
To feel the need
To answer all the questions
There are some among us
Who celebrate the weapon
Their answer hangs on death
With the bullet and the bomb
There are those who think obscenity
Is in the sexual act of procreation
And they condemn the art of lovemaking
While watching the latest Hollywood war film
There are those on this planet
Who condemn and demean
Every human aspect
Of our God inspired creation
They who would haul us all
Into the shadow of their own self denial
And feed us to the guillotine
Of their twisted sick disconnected
While they
Feed upon
Our world
Raw human emotion is shown tonight
As the clock ticks in its hyperbole of time
The broken hands and frail hearts are left to fix this
But this call is nothing more then a dial tone
And life slips through her vulnerable fingertips
Tonight will be the last for this crazy brute; this nightmare
Right now she may take her last breath
The virgins pale skin becomes translucent as her soul creeps out of her body
This tormented mind searches for ease
But eternal slumber is the only option left
No sedative can offset or suppress
This undeniable pain that has poisoned her soul
Look deep within the light my love
My gentle caring sleep
the song of nature drifts along
at times the wind is steep and strong
The heart a hollow empty song
the drain on life complete
but then from out of emptyness
the song of love grows strong
The energy returning
you dance upon your feet
the cuddles that you're yearning
returned you are complete
my mind delves into darkness
it fights with dreams and scheemes
it struggles with the truth of life
I need to know whats real
I need to know the truth of life
to know whats really real
we study then the body
the life of man complete
look to see the beauty
complexity so sweet
interwoven nature
our thoughts of glowing flame
We study terminology
we study anthropology
we study then biology
with thoughts that do compete
In truth this sweet compexity
holds answers over time
who did design the human brain
who did design the mind
The arguments from science
I then do not believe
It simply was by accident
we came to be conceived
the body's so complex my friend
I think they self deceive
I do believe in science
the study of our life
I do believe the bible
that god created life
I do not see your problem
I do not see your strife
It say's that god created man
it does not tell you how
Could evolution be my friend
the tool that god made to make man
Lurking with its unbidden ghost
Behind every smile
We know
“ Let go ”
There was something
Somewhere
Once long ago
That even now we all remember
It call to us
From deep, so deep
Within the memories of our soul
“Let go ”
And we ache with the longing
So whispered
Within the ageless rivers of our lives
To be once more
That which we knew
You know
Yes you do
We all do
“ Let go ”
This is why so many seek
Alternate ways to fill the question of
And why so many
Of the fleeting answers
Offer them no cause or satisfaction
And this is why
They hunger for the world
When the world is right there before them
They cannot hear the answer
“ Let go ”
Even though it rings like a monumental BELL !
Through them
They reject the very idea
That anything
So profound
In all its implication
Could ever be
So simple
“ LET GO ”
Reach out
Beyond the clouds
Reach out
Into the stars
THIS IS YOU
Part of it all
Stretch your imagination
Into the reality
Hold the galaxies
See them
Feel them
All
UNIVERSAL
THIS IS YOU
Push yourself
Past
The confines
Of your gravity
Beyond the clouds
And into eternity
Do you see it
Do you
THIS IS YOU
An approach with a light tease
gentle flows with some comedy lease
but it results to an insulting miss.
Another chance well prepared in the bakery
the last receiving a personal pardon
but blunt attitude slaps the gesture.
Pride mocks at perseverance
reputation suffering from situational itches
but this story is yet to begin.
Another meeting creates another scenario
a similar initiative with a different tactics
and a twist becomes the shock.
Follow up leads to coming down
to terms that we are now lovers
and here the poem ends!
Your hair is dark,
Your stature petite
If your beauty was my opponent
I would already concede defeat
Smooth and soft,
Silk is what describes you
To describe your skin,
I couldn't do it in a haiku
The reason being
Your beauty is divine
Delve into fantasy
Wishing you were mine
Soaring to the stars
Breaching past a cloud
My mind comes to panic
When I hear this beauty's sound
Her voice is soft
Her eyes hypnotize
Your heart like a pool
Where I would dip inside
Maybe it's lust
Maybe something more
Who knows exactly
What this future holds in store
But for now I contemplate
Wait for the proper time
I don't know your name,
And you surely don't know mine
You pass me a gaze
Confusion in the highest
I guess the question is
Which one of us is shyest?
Yet another gaze
This one directly to my eyes
Am I a fool?
Am I letting this chance pass by?
I remain serene
Looking confident on the surface
Why the smiles and gazes
What is their actual purpose?
Unsure and in doubt
I formulate a plan
I summon courage
For courage is what makes a man
The action is about to begin
When I tell you to sit next to me
I do not know what to call you,
So for now it will be caramel complexity
The theory of opposite complexity:
So he came into existence.
THE END
No, it's the beginning,
but all the same.
A part of my living soul
...sub-conscious matter...
We have never been separated
Insane hindsight bias
Psycho! Freak!
Fire, painstakingly profound
M I S I N T E R P R E T A T I O N S
Sanity is not statistical.
Expansive probability,
Random probability? No.
Trapped into his eyes; these huge black holed eyes.
Tripped into a parallel universe; this infinite universe
Welcome to Alpha Centauri?
Yes. Alpha Centauri welcomes me to the afterlife...
I am showered in rose petals.
To find him only in death--
I'd die for the opposite complex
Black holed eyes
Dive into them with fiery desire and lust
While quickly disappearing--
Vanished. Nothing.
THE BEGINNING
No, it's the end.
But all the same.
Whatever We is We are
Whatever We is We are . . . and have no doubt of this ever.
Whatever We is We are is something that should never be
denied. Why? Why Not?
Whatever We is We are speaks with a devout degree of both a
singularity and plurality in our human world with its simplicity,
complexity, and contradictions in both truth and honesty that
shape and define each of us, by fate and destiny, in the course
of our lives.
Whatever We is We are suggests to each of us to tell who we
really are without all of the metaphoric hype and subterfuge,
and the common notions of jiggery-pokery that, at times, does
pervade and corrupt human nature even in the best of us, no
matter how grand and great our intentions and actions may be.
Whatever We is We are . . . and have no doubt of this ever.

What creed are we following?
How do I know who is behind
Humiliating manipulations?
The creed I know is sad;
White, black, pale and brown
Short, tall, rich and poor,
Named after nations, beliefs,
Religions and sectors.
None is there whom you really
Can call 'a Global citizen'.
What had He in view, shaping
Man in the best of moulds, was
Nothing but the beauty so
Promising as colors mingle!
We wronged in knowing
A design so divine!
Spreading ruin and ban
Turned all colors into one;
The brightest red of all
Races, using refined weapons!
Her face,
Lipstick smudged on one side,
Lopsided blush,
Loose earring.
Humming a song as she goes,
Slower than it was written,
Squished into one octave,
Simple song, simple minded.
Folding laundry on a Saturday morning,
Watching the other machines and counting down the minutes,
Staring at the rotation of reds and blues.
Returning to an empty home,
Picking up the phone,
Calling her mom in the complex,
Singing the song she’d rehearsed,
Warm giggles,
Heart to heart.
Simple is the crux of good design
Yet complexity is the path
One must follow to start with.
Only then is revealed
How to simplify,
Stripping away
The padding
To gist,
Crux
