Best Come Along Poems

Come Along

Just come along
With me on this road
not so long
A road that is very
short
To learn a little about
my world of all sort!

Come along and read
The things that are
here for us to lead
Ourselves and others
to the promised land
Which makes us look
like magicians with the
best wand!

Come along and correct
me
Where you notice flaws
that be
Then do not fail to
commend
The ones that are
straight and not bend!

OH God my Creator
The Lord of the world
and Saviour
Make these lines
beneficial
And not make me a lamb
sacrificial!

Premium Member Come Along With Me

Just come along with me to the town
where long time ago I bicycled,
walked and ran about whenever
I wanted to smell the fragrance of Saigon

where I raised my hand to salute the
spirits while passing by the Lang Ong
Shrine and bathing my body among the
incense smoke drifting out over the

streets and worming my way away from
the crowds of fortune-tellers talking
endlessly about their understanding of
universe and keeping silent on their own.

just come along with me to the town
where I said hello to people in the
Ba Chieu Market where they yelled and
boasted about their bargain prices

and always be prepared to load
all their stuff on their shoulders and
heads and run away from the police
and jump over all the walls on their ways

while scattering behind with sandals,
sunglasses and hats... while throwing
into the sky their yells and screams – and you
see now, those sounds still vibrate in my heart.

just come along with me to the town
where I have left many parts of me
onto the dirt trails of Dong Ong Co
leading to my dharma uncle’s temple

and please gently step into the village,
please softly move and try not to break the
standstill air here, where you will see
my footprints still visible around the altar

where decades ago I asked the old
monk Thuong Chieu about the way of
Zen, and then he smiled – and now
I would surprise him when he first time sees

a lady walking beside me. My dear, please
walk gently here in my unchanged
village, where you will see the cows still
standing in the field with their heads staring

at the far-away sky, the birds still reaching
high into the sky, the monk still sitting there
with his endless smile, and there the answer
he gave me now still remaining in an original

state: he threw a piece of tile against the wall
and asked if I heard the sound and then said
that that was the way of Zen – you now see
that that piece of tile still remains floating in the air

just come along with me to the town
where everything stays unmoveable,
and unbreakable endlessly, where the
monk and me live like the unmovable statues.

You Better Come Along

Music! Dancing! Beauties galore

The town will be full of all

After the King is chosen

for the Mardi Gras Ball

March 8th, That's the day

When the King will rule the town

Close your eyes and sneak a peek

As the pants fall to the ground

So all you folks, come along

Join the crowd ... be witty

See all! Hear all! Know all!

Downtown, New Orleans City..

Premium Member Come Along and Wish With Me

My first wish would be to help children
Around the world__meet all their needs
Be it need for basics like food, clothing
Or shelter from the cold, water, __meds

This would include children in the states
Who in the city sometimes aren't safe
Then my second wish for elderly
Would be for love__ care continually

Then something for me that I long for
Health and strength to be able to care
For my family as needs arise
Granted these wishes__ life would improve

Wishes for children all around world
Love and care for elderly__last me

Come Along

Come my love lets pledge
Our love may grow with time n age
May we together set an example
Earnest seeking be ample

Although all is in the hands of fate
Love we will till last date
Our desires we will try to fulfill
Never hurt or desert but love we will
Give eachother till we breathe our last

Come Along, Sing Along.

The violin plays her song
Melancholy will sing through the night
those who stay the night there.
wear sad faces;
but the tune is too catchy to get out of your head.
It
fills you
surrounds you
ensnares you,
the notes cling in your vocal chords
waiting.
Won't be
coughed up
thrown up
ever.
They are in you, she is in you--Melancholy.
And she wanders along with a smile
wondering
when you too will begin
to sing along.

Come Along With Me

I see rainbows big and bright,
This world I see is happy tonight

I wrote a poem that brought me down,
I will not post it, it made me frown.

Happiness and love I’d rather share,
Especially to those for whom I really care.

So climb on board my little Choo- Choo train,
It’s self propelled it has a brain.

It’ll read your thoughts only the happy ones,
This is the way my Choo- Choo runs.

It’ll take you to the moon this very night,
Riding on those moonbeams so big and bright.

Once you get strapped down in the seat,
You’ll clap your hands and stomp your feet.

A fun filled ride you’ll not want to leave,
Even though my ride is only make believe.

Come Along

Come along I say come along now
Come and listen to Me good
Listen just please listen
To the things, the things you should
Come near I say come near Me
Let Me guide you on your way
To learn about Me, about Me on each new day
You have My heart
You have My soul
Every thing in Me only knows
Trust in Me now trust in Me
I'll lead you down the narrow road

Premium Member Come Along To Autumn Time

The autumn season comes once yearly
it fits in snugly between summer and winter
once the sunny days have left the scene
your next move comes to you so clearly

That next move in preparation for autumn
as thoughts think on the winter to come
but better first to enjoy the autumn season
having so much to offer in beating its drum

Look at the trees how they look to you
simply amazing as the change their colour
shades that make you look so intently
brighten one's mind never will be duller

The leaves are fallen on the ground
such a picture looks so beautiful
to come along to autumn time
to miss, it would be so cruel

Premium Member DREAMS COME ALONG FOR THE RIDE

May we be blessed in life to live the kind of life
with compassion, kindness and pride..
where our heart always leads us where we want to go

Premium Member Come Along Chick a Win

Here we are Chick-a-pooh, he yelled.
He is five and all of that plus a bowl of firecrackers.
I am Chick-a-pooh? I ask him.
It sounds less glorious than Grandma.
No, Chick-a-bee he says, smiling in full brightness.
He can call me anything he wants.
I will answer.
I am his grandma after all.
Come along, Chick-a-win, he says. Let’s go to the swings.
I see a pattern and it makes me smile.
A future poet perhaps?

Premium Member People don't always come along the path of the heart for eternity

People don't always come along the path of the heart for eternity,
To stamp their seal upon your soul, to inscribe their name on the floor of your pain.
We can't always tell them apart as flourishing travelers or shipwrecks,
Some are here to hold your hand through dusk and withdraw when dawn rises.
They hug you when the world seems gray and leave the coolness of their fingers on your veins,
When color returns to your cheeks, they say farewell and depart.
Sometimes they're just silhouettes in the half-light,
Spectators of the triumphs you've laid down alone.
They're not meant to stay until the final curtain falls.
You feel, ah, how wrong it is to want gifts from those who cannot give,
To ask water to quench your thirst from one who is but ash.
Some people aren't born to be anchored in the harbor of your life,
But are like the midnight wind, like grains of sand that slip through your fingers,
Or like the first stars that appear in the sky and then extinguish at the coming of the sun.
And in this waltz of comings and goings, you learn to hold, not with clenched fingers,
But the memories of touches, the warmth that was, the sound of steps together on the path.
We learn that every person is a poem, some short, others in boundless verses,
And we are readers between the pages, searching for the next stanza to live, to love,
Even when we ourselves follow our own solitary path, stepping forward into the darkness of time.

Premium Member Come Along Birds

Come along birds, chose your pumpkin pie.
You are crows? Great! Let me see you fly!
Okay, one at a time, don’t shove with your wings.
It is bullyish behavior, and sadness it brings.

There are enough pumpkins for each, one and all.
We can have such a great time. We welcome fall!
I love it that you are thrilled with my pumpkin pie.
But how on earth will you be able to lift it and fly?
