Premium Member Chartreuse Feathers

There was this teal duck and Canada goose,

   That 'neath a cloistered Colorado spruce,

      Enjoyed a lusty-ful tryst,

         Ending up in a quaint twist!

            Their offspring sported feathers of chartreuse!

The Abuse of Chartreuse

The lady was dressed in” chartreuse;”
To which she made of good use.
Her honey spent money;
On dinner so yummy;
And came close to sexual abuse.

The lady was cloaked in “chartreuse;”
And her magic was that of a muse.
While mixing a potion;
She came up on a notion;
That the men in her life were no use.

The man did tighten the nose;
After giving the lady a boost.
She was a wrong doing woman;
And what ever he did she had coming.
She was his woman the Lady “chartreuse”

The man who sat at the table;
Had purchased his new girl a sable.
While she swilled her champagne;
 All she did was complain;
About her horse named chartreuse in the stable

“Chartreuse” is simply a hue’
Not black or not red or not blue.
It’s a color not primary;
Like Susan or Mary;
But it’s still on the spectrum its true.

Pleiades

Coax me with c a r e s s e s-
Color me chromatic…
Champagne and fine dining
cure my calamities.
Cast aside life’s spent cares-
Cover me in c h a r t r e u s e
Calla Lilies…tonight.

Premium Member Baptism Beneath a Chartreuse Moon

Your fiery eyes, pierce my soul;
you know me and always have;
I am you, as wild and free, a spirit,
as existence can provide.

In the chartreuse moon’s glare;
your stare, draws me into your very soul;
I know you will not attack.

Last time, in a dream;
you gave me your light;
we beacons must, work together;
to protect our siblings from the blood-letters.

Humans are both, gods and devils;
to build and destroy is their lot;
it’s not without choice.

The familiar, a harmony, creates;
you stand before me on a dark path;
your light beckons and I will listen
without apprehension or fear.

Teach me; I feel you.
The dark night will reveal your godly soul.

I caress your furry body;
you pierce mine and
the pain of enlightenment, is sweet.

It’s been said that,
“Dog is God, spelled backwards.”
The wolf of Heaven has brought me to life.

Unbearable beauty in Chartreuse

A week ago, late at night
She came in Bill's bar
The way she walked, made her dress
Shimmer like the stars

With tall red hair and bright green eyes
Her hips were swinging loose
Such an unbearable beauty
All dressed up in chartreuse

I tried resisting her allure
but I found it was no use
My eyes went wide, and couldn't hide
Staring at her caboose

My friends soon found it funny
That I hadn't an excuse
I heard all them laughing
As I took their lame abuse

When she grabbed and kissed me
They tried to make a truce
But, I walked away, with this beauty
All dressed up in chartreuse

The chartreuse green of the Oak's tassels are a stark contrast to
the lavender of the Red Bud on this still windless spring morn. Fanbrushed wispy
clouds across a sky-blue sky intercepted by silent jets' exhaust streaking.
The sun's warmth lifts the spirits of the animals of nature, the dog stretched
out to soak up the sun and spring's sun brings joy to the white haired old lady
out on the porch.

a low flying plane's
noisy engine breaks silence...
thoughts scattered

Collected again, ahhh, the songs of the birds calling to each other. One steadily
chirps close by, two Mockingbirds argue, and another calls in the distance.

one lone buzzard soars
high above but below clouds...
fantasy take flight

Chartreuse

WE ate cherries for breakfast
in our pink champagne
by evening we're twisted,
and yes,quite insane
lounging in loveland
on coconut isle
you taste like chartreuse
in a Berlioz style
classical music kissing the air
taking us higher
alive and aware
obsession,possession,
come take me away,
the fire and the passion,
I need you today!

Uluru

Five hundred million years ago
This all was covered in sea…
Fans of sand turned Uluru
Where life had come to be.

Days of light with lemon bright;
Reflecting monolith,
The largest in the world and
How I’m taken with…

Coral, Saffron ,Tangerine,
Watermelon riches…
The lilac and the lavender;
Aquamarine thus switches.

Sacred land of crimson blood;
Earth beneath my feet
Where chartreuse grass does surpass
Dramatic desert heat.

Beloved Kitty of Chartreuse Eyes

You darling being
I love you so
I've watched you romp
I've watched you grow
Long silky grays
And eyes so green
A nature sweet
No bone that's mean
But now I learn
You've gotten ill
So every day
You'll need a pill
To keep you well
Cos' you're so dear
I'll do what I must
To keep you here
To brighten my life
Like you so do
You make me laugh
You adore me too!
Can't even imagine
How torn I'd be
If God would take you
Away from me
Yes I know
Someday we'll part
I'm not ready yet
For that broken heart
So sweetest kitty
Be well, be strong
I'm going to pray
That you'll live long

Premium Member The Man Who Learns Mauve from Chartreuse

The man who learns mauve from chartreuse
Is rendered quite gay by the news.
For courting sweet lasses
A man means amasses
That too many colors confuse.
